She tracks Luke to the Grand Canyon, little knowing she's walking into a heap of trouble. I believe if I had read more than the final book of this series on a Christian protection group, the end would have been less confusing. There were too many characters to keep track of, and not enough back story to distinguish them.

This is a very good suspenseful book. Laura and Luke are both dealing with guilt from the past. Then someone is trying to kill them. Very well written.

Avis, Central patron, July 2016, 3 stars: I enjoyed reading The Soldier's Mission by Lenora Worth. It took a little while for me to get into the plot and trust the characters, but the story-line was intriguing. However, when they finally meet, a deadly killer targets both of them. Luke must get over his feelings of regret and unworthiness to protect the woman he comes to love, and Laura must keep looking for clues from her patients to fight the killer and save the entire CHAIM team. The book dealt with very real issues of mental illness and survivor's guilt. I liked how the author brought both characters into right relationship with God, and taught them how He fights our battles for and with us. It was a great story of redemption and freedom in Christ.

Secret Agents Book 5 This is the final book in the series, and I'm glad to say it really went out with a bang! Surprisingly, I'd say this was probably the darkest book of all five in the series, and I thought the author did well developing a great suspense story and bringing it to conclusion! This was another one of those on the edge of your seat, gotta know what's happening books. I liked how she brought all the previous characters together in this one as well. LOVED this book! As I have with all the books in Lenora's CHAIM series.I am sad that it is the last book in her CHAIM series :( For now anyway....I still think Lenora needs an Aussie CHIAM Agent! LOL! She's got the pastor, the Brit, the Irish poet, the Cajun/French, and Latin Heartthrob, now if she ever returns to do another CHAIM book she needs an Aussie ;-) LOVED this book! Good book, nice suspense. I liked the way that Laura wanted to help Luke, and really tried to get him to open up. When someone starts shooting at them, he goes into agent mode and does his best to get them away and to safety. I really enjoyed seeing how the team worked together.

I think I would have liked this book better if I had read the previous four books in the series. I enjoyed the idea of a Christian Protection group, but I found the ending to be very confusing. There were too many characters to keep track of.

#5 CHAIM Series Great conclusion to the series, and now my favourite of the 5. My only niggle with the story: I didn't feel comfortable with Laura praying for the murdered person they found - by then, they are either in heaven or hell. Praying for their families and for justice would have been better. #5 CHAIM Series Great conclusion to the series, and now my favourite of the 5. I tried this but it had too much Christian stuff for me. I should have known better. Other than that the story sounded interesting.

I loved the whole CHAIM series, I just wish that it was listed as a series.
