Son historias cortas entretenidas, sin embargo, quedan incompletas al parecer. Con preguntas y cabos sueltos.

I absolutely adore J.C.’s SWAT stories, but they’re too long in coming before I can get my greedy hands on the next one. I loved the personalities of these characters. Sissy has an in-your-face, won’t-take-any-crap attitude, while at the same time being so warm and giving. Her attitude and sass covers an insecure self-perception. Sissy is the perfect woman for Jace, a tough, no nonsense cop that makes you want to slap him upside his head to get him to wake up and grab Sissy. Jace has to overcome his own insecurities regarding love, and his belief that his family is cursed regarding love. When these two connect, there are fireworks. The sparks between this couple will keep you riveted to the action. Awesome, awesome story, and I would strongly recommend this book. A J.C. Wilder story never disappoints–it’s a keeper on my shelf. I’m looking forward to the next story in this series and hope it comes soon. ~ Debbie, www.ireadromance.com

JC Wilder's books are a little like candy for me. I always love them. I liked the idea of this story, but there were definite flaws in the execution. But like candy, I really didn't care. It was just fun to read. And the fun factir outweighs all the problems. Sissy's accent irritated me. I wondered how Jace explained his absence to his undercover boss. i wanted more on the outcome. The mean-ass FBi agents and cops seemed over the top. But still, it was fun to read. And like I felt after Cowboy's JC Wilder's books are a little like candy for me. I always love them. Where's the rest? Seriously, there are so many unresolved plot lines (the undercover job/investigation, Jorge, Sissy's abuse by the cops, a proper HEA), the book could have used 2 or 3 more chapters. And the epilogue refers to the book before this one, Kissing Cowboy, which you need to have read. Where's the rest? First title I'd read by this author. The story was going well up to the end when it seemed hurried and choppy. I would have rated it higher if not for the unevenness in writing at the end - including the epilogue, which was not an epilogue to this story, but simply a lead-in to the next book. Enjoy the stories but they just seem to end...abruptly and seeming incomplete.
