    I have been teaching lab science online for 15 years. Reading through the book, it was heartening to see that I had already put into practice most of the ideas suggested. My only criticism of the book is that I was not aware, prior to purchase, of the commercial conflict of interest by the authors. Because the authors own a commercial lab kit supply company, they emphasize the benefits of requiring students to purchase these extremely expensive kits while spreading "good natured warnings" about I have been teaching lab science online for 15 years. Reading through the book, it was heartening to see that I had already put into practice most of the ideas suggested. My only criticism of the book is that I was not aware, prior to purchase, of the commercial conflict of interest by the authors. Because the authors own a commercial lab kit supply company, they emphasize the benefits of requiring students to purchase these extremely expensive kits while spreading "good natured warnings" about other lab methods throughout the text. All of my courses utilize individual interactive labs, but I do not require commercial kits to achieve them.
