Needs another update since it's last addition is 22 years old but the general concepts are still good. Needs another update since it's last addition is 22 years old but the general concepts are still good.

This is nice - ideas for new things to play/try with your baby/toddler. It's great, because once you are brain-dead and sleep deprived, it's hard to think of new and exciting little things to do. And, since P-chan gets bored of the same thing after awhile this helps intro new little bits. It's organized by age, but you have to have some flexibility, based on your own child. Granted she doesn't see it everyday, but still.

Offers parents suggestions for engaging their child's developing senses and emerging cognition through play. The book's organization lends itself perfectly to the "smash and grab" reading habits of this new parent. This a a super source for both new parents and parents interested in "new" activities for their little ones. And they start at birth. Most of them are very stimulating and encourage parent-child bonding. This a a super source for both new parents and parents interested in "new" activities for their little ones. A nice collection of activities by month, some obvious and a few suggestions I will integrate. A bit dated, even for a revised version, and overpackaged with big type and big margins.
