It is demanding and challenging. It is neither intended to be used as the basis for unmerited criticism nor as sermon material for the minister having difficulty receiving a fresh work from the Lord. It was written with a very clear aim: to provoke spiritual thought. Bill Gates' Microsoft, Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions, Stephen Spielberg's DreamWorks, and even his own Zoe Ministries all began with a thought. Every invention, university, book, song, business, home, skyscraper, movie, stage play, and baby began when someone chose to think. Nothing happens without thought. Creation did not happen without God's thought. Bishop Jordan's first objective is getting you to think.

I LOVED IT...This is by far my favorite book ever! I purchased many of them for different people. You have to be spiritually minded to understand and grasp what is being stated in this book though. This is not for babies!!!

There's that old joke about the guy hanging precariously on the edge of the cliff who is sure that God will save him. This guy is so sure in fact that when a hiker, a boat, and a helicopter come to rescue him he turns them away. God is going to save him. Many of us react in a similar way in our own lives. We go to church each week expecting that because we attend, sing a few hymns, and put some money in the collection plate that God will show up at our doorstep and make our lives all better. We go to church each week expecting that because we attend, sing a few hymns, and put some money in the collection plate that God will show up at our doorstep and make our lives all better. Never once does the thought occur to us that we aren't owed a free ride because we deem ourselves his chosen ones. It must be the devil's fault. Bishop E. Bernard Jordan reminds us that God helps those who help themselves, that God is inside each of us, and that it is our responsibility to become the most we can be. Each of us is given something special and unique, ourselves. God's hope is that we find within ourselves a way to express that gift and share it in a positive way. The Laws of Thinking is inspirational and a good kick in the rear at the same time. The power truly is within and available to us all. We just have to take a good truthful look at ourselves and where we've been heading, then make a change.

Brilliant and bold. Absolutely transformational read. Must have book for any dreamer and current or future world-changer. If you like ET the Hip Hop preacher on Youtube or books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, this book will give you some of the spiritual foundations of what makes "wealth mentality" work from a more philosophical perspective. Easy to read but warning, if you are expecting this to be a academic read you WILL be disappointed. Also, if you go into this with a bunch of doctrinal scruples you WILL probably stop before you are too far into this book and think Bernard is some kind of heretic. My suggestion: read the book as a whole. Be scientific. Apply the Laws of Thinking in your life and see if you don't see profound change in your life and business. This book is so good I have read it several times, and I keep multiple copies on hand to give to close friends and business partners whom I see potential.

Heavy material thus far; requires me to stop a moment to digest, reread, highlight, underline and reread again. Powerful laws to transform your life. For example: The first law is The Law of Becoming. Figuring out your divine nature, saying 'I Am' and thus you can work in partnership with God, declaring what it is you desire and it will manifest... See, heavy material and that's just the first law. There are 20 laws total. Heavy material thus far; requires me to stop a moment to digest, reread, highlight, underline and reread again. This book made me uncomfortable. There was undoubtedly much truth in this book and I was intrigued by the laws and principles as portrayed by the author, but I couldn't help but feel that this was a what's-in-it-for-me health-and-wealth kind of a book. I never felt or sensed a passion for Jesus, but rather an approach of how to get what you want from God. Of course, I could have learned that much from the title, but I had hoped for a both/and scenario and felt that what I got was a formula for h This book made me uncomfortable.
