This series is the Harry Potter of cat books. I started reading these almost as a joke, but soon I was completely invested in this world. These cats were brought to life with personalities more vibrant and complex than many human characters. These stories are full of danger, friendship, forbidden love, betrayal, and self-discovery and it is all surprisingly believable for talking cats. I had physical reactions - crying, laughing, tightening in my chest - to this series. I would highly recommend This series is the Harry Potter of cat books. I would highly recommend it, as long as you can suspend your disbelief, put away your preconceived notions about "talking animal books," and just enjoy a good story. No, it's not ground-breaking stuff, but it's beautiful in its own way. It left me staring at my cats and feeling vaguely disappointed that they couldn't talk. This one is my personal favorite, mainly because of the friendship between Fireheart and Graystripe.

I would say that this book was quite interesting there were lots of suspense and dark turns, which I liked, for example, Fireheart sees betrayal throughout his clan along with unnecessary deaths, harsh hate, and miserable backstories. Even with all of that I still found some parts confusing. I would give this book a 4 out of 5. I would recommend this book to my friend Isabelle, Shes really into books like this. 3 down over 60 more to go.

Lovely, lovely. Amazing details, character growth, and plot structure. 😍 The emotions. 💞 😭 I really appreciate the break this lighthearted fantasy gives me from all the violent, heart-stopping, adrenaline spiking stuff I normally read. 😂

I've known about these books for years and never read them because I thought they were just going to be dumb kid books, but this series is fantastic. My favorite one so far - Mostly because of Cloud Kit. I think he's just so adorable. Also - the guy that narrates the audio books is really good. Makes it very fun to listen to. At first this book repeated to much of what had happened in previous books and sometimes I found myself skipping some paragraphs here and there because I didn't need to re-read what I already knew. This book kept a nice pace and there was much more action through out the book than the pervious one (I think). As the book unfolds things start to become obvious and I'm sure you can work them out before the events unfold but still it doesn't change how it all plays out. Near the end of the book I started to feel sad just because what was going on..I guess you can say I got a little more suckered into this series than I orignally thought I would :P

Oh. My. Gosh. Such an incredible reread, and currently my favourite of the Original Series, with Into the Wild close behind. Just everything about this book, especially the emotion, was great. Silverstream and Greystripe's kits, Bluestar admitting about her kits in the past and what she had to give up for herself, Tigerclaw and the rogue cats, Fireheart becoming deputy - such a superb reread that I thoroughly enjoyed. :) Oh. What I didn't: - Brackenpaw's Neglection Graystripe completely ignored his Brackenpaw! He was made a warrior, too late if you ask me. Brackenpaw is Graystripe's apprentice NOT Fireheart's. Go see Silverstream all you want, but at least pay some attention to your apprentice!!! - Cloudkit scared me sometimes There was that one scene where he reminded me of Brokenpaw from Yellowfang's Secret. Fans of the 1st two books should enjoy book 3 even more. I have to say I am amazed at how good these books are. The characters are surprisingly complex and engrossing & their four-clan co-existence in the forest is richly detailed . That, coupled with the wildness of their surroundings make for an action packed plot. But where author Erin Hunter shines, is where she explores the themes of courage, and love and honor. Highly recommend book and series, I can't wait to see where the story will go from here!

As the third book in the Warriors Series I found this story enjoyable. However, it was less solidified, less polished than the previous books. Still an engaging read. I regret not having read these books as a kid because I probably would have enjoyed them more because the characters are great and the idea and concept is intriguing. Wow, finished that one in little more than 24 hours. Could NOT put it down. Fireheart proves again and again his loyalty to ThunderClan and it`s leader Bluestar, but there are tragedies, broken hearts, deceipt and the enthusiasm of the younger generation in a hurry to be "grown up." Nothing new there, right. Loved every word, from beginning to end. On to the next in this series: "Rising Storm." Take it from me, you don`t have to be a child to enjoy these stories at all. there are like 30 or something books in this series/universe so I was kinda intrigued to pick it up again after some years to see where it's got to but that's still some way to go haha. I always liked stories about talking animals, especially cats. warrior cats is short, adventurous and fun to read and I was pleasantly surprised by how attached I got to all dem kitties. 3.5/5 stars there are like 30 or something books in this series/universe so I was kinda intrigued to pick it up again after some years to see where it's got to but that's still some way to go haha. Oh my god, this one broke my heart!! I didn't realize how invested I was, but this series has gotten under my skin. I mean, it IS about cats and we all know I'm a crazy cat lady. But to be honest I never expected to be this invested because I can't usually get into Middle Grade for the fact that it feels too juvenile. But, despite it being MG, this series is quite complex. It has it all - secrets, lies, betrayal, loyalty, leadership, love, friendship, and family value. Even death. There were some Oh my god, this one broke my heart!! It has it all - secrets, lies, betrayal, loyalty, leadership, love, friendship, and family value. Even death. There were some nice little twists in there, too - you could see them coming a mile away because of the giant hints dropped and some painfully obvious foreshadowing, but it still made for a great plot line. (view spoiler)[It was easy to guess that the lost ThunderClan kits belonged to Bluestar, and that Tigerclaw was bad news and was plotting with Brokentail. But I still enjoyed reading about it! I freaking cried when Silverstream died. I was shocked when she said she was going to have Graystripe's kits, and I never saw it coming that she would die during birthing. That part got me bad! I was also sobbing at the end when Graystripe decided to leave and join RiverClan with his kits. The loss of Fireheart's best friend and everything that entailed just broke my heart into little pieces! It reminded me of the end of The Fox and the Hound *sobs* I was also incredibly surprised to find that I was affected by Brokentail's death. He was horrible, yes, but I still cried. Mostly I was just upset on behalf of Yellowfang, because I love her and it was such a hard decision for her to make. That scene was so heartbreaking! Poor Yellowfang :( (hide spoiler)] Basically, if you haven't read this series, you should! It's great for all ages!

It seems like most of Fireheartt's problems have vanished along with a well-loved friend. Another splendid addition to the series by Erin Hunter. It seems like most of Fireheartt's problems have vanished along with a well-loved friend. Another splendid addition to the series by Erin Hunter.

I enjoyed this one much more than the previous one. It also helps that I'm getting better acquainted with all of the characters which makes it easier to keep them all straight in my head. This book was a pretty good book in the Warriors series. Forest of Secrets leaves you on a cliff hanger leaving you in a state of shock. I do believe this book had so many plotlines at some parts of the book, that it may leave a reader confused. I also believe that the plotline in this book was not so dissimilar from the previous books in the series. I started reading this series in 2013 but stopped at Book 2 because I did not find it was so enticing. I believe this series is definitely more for a juvenile reader; hence my discontinuation of reading the series. If you are above 12; I don't believe you will find it as interesting as a 9-10 year old.
