This one was okay. It had suspense, but it moved pretty slow and did not spell things out well enough for a 5 year old to understand. Maybe that isn't the point of the book, but that's what I wanted! This one was okay. It had suspense, but it moved pretty slow and did not spell things out well enough for a 5 year old to understand. This book following the well known story of eccentric Dr. Jekyll, who risks it all to give in to his dark side, Mr. Hyde. The story is full of suspense and nice horror touches without being too graphic. Kids will love the horror factor and adults will appreciate the opportunities to discuss narration, perspective, epistolary novel, good and evil, self control, man vs. science, the power of reputation, and the consequences of remaining silent A great series for schools.
