I liked this one better than the first volume only because I felt like there were more emotions between Taki and Klaus. The art and the plot were still very good and this one was a little more intense because it seemed like they were in more danger than before. Curious as to whether there will be a third volume or not because of the way the book ended. I will have to look into that. Either way, I'm loving this series so I'm really hoping there's more of Taki and Klaus' love/hate relationship to I liked this one better than the first volume only because I felt like there were more emotions between Taki and Klaus. Volume 2 has met the high expectations. This story is so layered, unbelievable... and you read it over and over again and each time you notice something new, you get a different side of the story. Beautiful! I want more...

A woman sits at a dinner table; her only companions are the dead men whose bodies are seated at the table, and she is bored. Meanwhile, Chief aide-de-camp Hasebe and Major Uemura, together, wish a word with Taki. He beckons them to enter his chamber, where he sits in bed, holding the finally sleeping figure of the battered Claus - who was tortured under the mistaken belief that he is a spy. They are there to inform Taki of the train which is headed toward the old #3 supply line and which via that line will before long enter no-mans-land. Should that happen, they would gain access to Taki's country's military rail system, which cannot be allowed. There has no been response as of yet from the Eurotean Rail Forces, and the code for the train indicate that it is the royal train. Taki asks for five minutes, and he will be on his way. Claus, who isn't actually asleep, warns him to be careful, something is not right about this, while on the train the bored woman and a blond man with an evil grin wait. The no-mans-land is an area over a thousand acres in size, which was hotly contested in the previous war and where many young men lost their lives. Taki swears to guard the safety and the memories of the brave soldiers whose final resting place is there. He convenes an emergency conference to deal with the situation. He has not been able to reach Lord Asakura, who apparently is still asleep, and Command HQ has issued orders that they are to stand by and do nothing, while negotiations take place. But this is not acceptable to Taki. Soldiers will not set food in the no-mans-land, believing it to be unclean. But Claus feels that to Taki it is a holy land, and for that reason must be saved. Taki has his men prepare for an ambush attack, even with the knowledge that support will not be forthcoming. The trouble is that the soldiers are unsettled, not just about going there, but about subjecting Taki to the land's impurity. Lieutenant Azusa, who is half-Eurotean, volunteers to go. And another country is heard from, one who is not afraid of anything or anyone - Claus has pulled himself out of bed, despite his injuries (for which he has asked the doctor to give him drugs which will keep him going), and he declares that Taki should send him. Taki catches Claus alone and protests his going, but Claus isn't to be deterred and, taking advantage of the situation, kicks the door shut and orders Taki to strip! Azusa's friends and comrades are concerned about his volunteering for this mission, and they warn him that even if he survives he might not be allowed to return to them. Claus readies himself to go. The doctor brings him the medicines he needs, but warns him about some of the effects, and that the effectiveness will become of shorter and shorter duration. Just then Taki arrives to declare that Claus and Azusa cannot leave without being ordered, so Klaus falls upon his knees, as a good knight, and requests permission to go, kissing Taki's hand reverently. Azusa bids his friends farewell, and before he goes he is approached by Chief Hasebe, who tells him that before his mission is through, he is to get rid of Captain Claus Von Wolfstadt! After the main story is a bonus paws story, with adorable chibi animals in the form of Taki and Klaus! You can read my entire review at Yaoi Radius!

They fight, they force each other to do things, which made others shocked. Problems came when Klaus is blamed to be spy and had to clean his name and his master´s. The mysterious train appeared in no man´s land, where nobody from Taki´s nation would go. Only one person was able to go there and investigate the train. Princes with her bodyguard and train full of corpses brought the stir and more question to fuel political unrest.

In the second volume, Taki is leading his country to fight against an unknown train that is barreling into their territory. Sending Klaus, his Knight, and a radio operator on a mission to intercept the train in no man's land, Klaus and the radio operator risk being contaminated spiritually by being in no man's land and unable to return home.
