Love this book. Most of Molloy's books I read because I find him entertaining, not because what he has to say is particularly pertinent to anything in my life. I've never been interested in a career as a businessperson working for someone else, and I was already married by the time he released his book on that, so on the practicality front Molloy's usually not helpful. This book being the one exception. Not that I'm willing to do everything he suggests, but those suggestions that appealed to me work really well, and he's got a couple of great meditations on stuff like "working hard" versus "working productively", setting realistic goals, recognizing when the problem is your environment or yourself, etc. that I insisted my older kids read because they can get the brain percolating. Particularly loved his chapter on creativity, which I expected to be pretty much a "creativity is one part inspiration, nine parts perspiration" sort of thing, but he goes much more into the formation of a creative person than I expected. Molloy is one of those people who really don't "get" people who are different from them, and like many of that type he comes off as arrogant, but despite his impatience he has heart and wants to help... so long as you're willing to work the way he thinks everyone ought to! He turns a lot of people off with his arrogance, but he has some good stuff to say.
