By the time I finally got around to finishing the book, almost a year had passed. We did not have to read the entire book for my Curriculum and Instruction class so I did not finish the book then. As I have mentioned in previous reviews, I have a compulsion (I am slowly working on this) to finish books that I start so this book has stayed on my reading now list since January. As for the book itself, I found several chapters fascinating but the chapters I read the past few days? Not so much. As for the book itself, I found several chapters fascinating but the chapters I read the past few days? Not so much. Even in the four or five chapters I read recently, I realized that I read about much of the material twice even within those chapters. No wonder my professor did not assign the entire book. Also, as frequently happens with technology, much if not all of the technology this particular edition of the book referenced, has passed into obsolescence as more than frequently happens for education-focused technology. Adults frequently jump on the bandwagon too late. I found myself motivated to dig into curriculum planning again but I did not get many new ideas from this book.
