For me, One Piece is best Manga ever written. The story always touch my heart, it is a combination of faithful friendship, laughter, loyalty and action. Some people might find this manga as silly and pointless (I’ve heard this before) but they never truly read the Manga and therefore judging it simply from the cover. I’ve been in that position too…and thank God I finally looked beyond the cover and found the greatest adventure any Mangaka ever written. Full of classic OP moments: Robin's motivations, Nami's vow to get her back, the coming of Aqua Laguna, Chopper being awesome, Sanji being cool. And oh, Sniper King. Bwahahaha. Plots sometimes take a little too long to set up in One Piece, but oh, the payoff is excellent. Very touching, especially when Robin's intention was revealed! Robin is a great woman!!!! Luffy and Zoro were so cool putting a hole into the Aqua Laguna! This hints at future revelations while also giving us some answers. It's good that the crew now has a goal. The moment with the big wave is also pretty cool. One piece is quite a good book for readers who enjoy graphic novels with adventure and a character oriented plot. One piece is a very long and currently ongoing story about the main cast striving to achieve their dreams. The emotion in the writing in One piece is phenomenal and can make any person who reads it feel as though the characters are real people. For example in the earlier part of the story Zoro the main character's first mate tells his captain that he will fulfill his dreams and will always be there to help him and you feel all of the emotions the book is trying to convey with the art and the text. Some things that One piece could approve of is the pacing of the story which can be very slow at times. Also the antagonists in the story could use more depth to go along with the themes in the story. I feel like One piece is a good book for people to read for teens all the way to early adults.

The Water Seven arc hits an emotional climax as the Straw Hats battle against time and the elements to save Robin from CP-9. We get another look at how close-knit the crew is and the lengths they’ll go to in order to save one of their own, which is always heartwarming to see. This contrasts nicely with Usopp’s arc where he feels left out and betrayed and has to try and find his own place in the world. There’s a big emotional spike in that arc in this volume, but it looks like he’s being pushed into reuniting with his crew and sorting out their issues. Despite there not being much in the way of fights in this volume, it manages to be tense and exciting regardless. It’s great seeing so many people coming together to pursue CP-9 and take the fight to the government, and the chase itself is really exciting to witness. Things are all set in place for an exciting showdown to come sometime soon, and I can’t wait to see it.

Volume 38 covers chapters 358 through 367. This arc just keeps getting better and better. Even on a reread, this is just simply really great content. The Straw Hats have a new mission: save Robin! Everything starts escalating as Aqua Laguna hits Water 7. Enemies become allies, revelations abound, and Sniper King finally shows up. Lots of great action that will keep you turning the pages and jumping for the next volume immediately.

We continue with Luffy and co finding about Robins reason to leave and like there is such a great sequence when Aqua Laguna is coming Luffy the way he escapes and even Zoro its just awesome and then come all of them on some train to rescue their friend, meanwhile Sanji is in that train and the way he fights and all that goes on in order to rescue Robin is superb! Water 7 arc is getting quite interesting now! And the art and the colors just get better!

The whole Puffing Tom and Rocketman sounded silly in the beginning - train/boat hybrid's running just slightly below the sea level but then the explanation and make believe was good enough. Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy who defies the standard definition of a pirate. Rather than the popular persona of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ransacks villages for fun, Luffy’s reason for being a pirate is one of pure wonder; the thought of an exciting adventure and meeting new and intriguing people, along with finding One Piece. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew travel across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unveiling dark mysteries and battling strong enemies, all in order to reach One Piece.

Wow. OP really is picking up. I don't think I have ever given any other arc this many stars before. I just love how this shows what a strong bond and friendship everyone has. The Strawhat Pirates are definitely people u would want to have as friends!! There were some things which I found a bit iffy, like how Water 7 has never had such a strong storm now, and yet now of all times it is horrific. Like how convenient for dramatic sakes, huh. And it was so stupid how Luffy and Zoro got stuck between those buildings. Those idiots could have drowned. Ayyye. Those guys. Honestly. Smh. Anyways, really look forward to the next vol. Especially now that the crew is heading towards the main base, and are about to challenge the World Government themselves!

The usual shonen tropes of upping the odds to next level of Impossible! every other chapter can't hold back to sheer maniacal energy of this series nope, Robin you still suck and I wish you'd fall out permanently.
