Sandra Helen –
This collection of plays by Lesbian Playwrights is amazing. (Full disclosure: One of my own plays was a finalist for this collection, but didn’t make the final cut.) Jane Chambers, Maria Irene Fornes, Megan Terry, Paula Vogel, as well as Carolyn Gage, Joan Lipkin, Susan Miller, and more are included. I’ve never seen one of these plays in production, but am so happy to have read them all and to have this collection on my bookshelf. CHALLENGE 9.

This is not written very recently. Some good plays. Rest, the most about unequal, polarized relationships with various names given to it; butch-femme, camp or rather more discrete ones specific to the relative culture or time period.
