One wants her, because her father is a top musician, vs the other who wants her because-well I want you to like me more than my bro girl! There is a real scene in this book though, a girl is waiting for her father to get into the Knights Concert at the Tokyo Dome. She is lonely, and the crowds are swarming about. Yura decides to keep the girl company-till daddy dearest arrives. Ah, just happens to the guy that cut her off at the knees at the latest audition. Because, well he hates celebrity's kids. She told him off. He thinks she set him up, by being with his kid. Gee, the odds of meeting her, no less knowing what she looked like-he is paranoid. So, she tells him she is glad she was not picked, and he been ignoring his kid, by making her wait alone. Real-because I did this ages ago, at the Amtrak station in Indy. A ten year old boy got off the train with me-at 9pm, and no one was there to meet him. The station was almost empty. I introduced myself, and showed him my nursing badge. I offered phone calls, and even a taxi to where he needed to be, but he had no info. 90 minutes later the family arrived all anxious-caught in traffic. Well, back to the review-Yura pants all over the singing twin, only to notice that the other stud, finally emailed her. Yet, now she is confused as to who to crush on. Also, daddy dearest remains paranoid till the end.

2020 Read #93 Every volume with less Q-ta and more Haruka is GREAT. The heroine is still too coddled by the males around her, but hey, at least there’s not attempted rape from the main love interest like in Aihara’s Hot Gimmick...

Haruka! You win so many potential love interest points just by NOT being an abusive jerkass! Being adorable is beside the point.

Have I ever mentioned that when I get sucked into a series, I tend to get obsessed? I am officially obsessed. :) It certainly didn't take long. But can you blame me? Yura's skills continue to grow - she succeeds in impressing Rinko during her second chance at the read-through (though she only got that chance because of Haruka's intervention). The only flaw in Yura's plan seems to be her obsession with Q-ta. And to be fair, I can't blame her too much - he is very sweet to her, and does sincerely seem to like her, for her true personality, which is sweet and nervous. The problem lies, though, in Q-ta's intentions, and how he views Yura. You can see how he is thinking when Keiichi asks him why he wants to be with Yura - because he admires her father, or because he admires Yura for who she. And Q-ta doesn't think it's important. Uh, yeah it is, dude. Yura has made it very clear that she has issues with her parents, and doesn't want you to be with her to get to her father. So figure it out before you start messing with her heart and head. Now on to Haruka. Ah, sweet Haruka. He is so adorable and genuine in the volume, starting with helping Yura with her read-through. He had so many great moments: his trying-to-be-sly angling to get Yura to come to his concert so he can impress her, the teasing he endured from his bandmates, his nervous post-concert babbling to Yura, his blush at Yura's praise, his attempt at confessing his feelings for her, his hug and forehead kiss when he sees Yura's reaction to Q-ta's phone calls. How could you resist him? (Seriously, Yura. How??) He is just squeeee-worthy all the way. Of course, other stuff happened in this volume, too, and it was good. :) Keiichi wrangles Yura into meeting writer Maki Todo, and then somehow she also meets Todo's daughter, and impressed Todo. Also, we learn cutie roommate Nanase's history - he used to be a member of Knights! Awww! Now we need to know the history behind why he quit. Which I assumed we'll learn soon. The best part about starting a manga a few volumes in: no having to wait for the next one to be released! :)

This volume starts from where it was last left off, when Keiichi warns Q-ta to stay away from Yura. Haruka begins to develop more feelings for Yura, and becomes jealous every time his twin brother Q-ta gets all the attention from Yura. I love the comedy in this book: aka Rinko's love for Haruka. Yura becomes more insecure about herself once she realizes Q-ta may be using her to get to her father. We learn that Nanase was once a part of the KNIGHTS group, but he dropped out before their debut to go to school. Q-ta finally calls, but it was bad timing because Yura was at Haruka's concert. Yura admires Haruka, but she still likes Q-ta. Haruka then realizes this and confesses to her, which shocks her greatly. TO BE CONTINUED- I loved this volume overall, and I plan to read the next volume!:D

Dani ❤️ Perspective of a Writer

I loved this volume and how much more complicated Yura's relationships became with the three men in her life. Haruka became more involved with Yura who I actually like and Keiichi seems to want to change the boundaries between them (which I love!) I liked how we got to know more about Haruka particularly by matching him up against the always nice but smarmy Q-ta. And the dialogue is used so well in this series! I liked how we got to know more about Haruka particularly by matching him up against the always nice but smarmy Q-ta. And the dialogue is used so well in this series! I'm always astounded how much character I get from interactions, no two characters are coming from the same POV. Q-ta is that classic domineering, knight kind of love interest, and she sees him as a prince charming. Keiich admires her for her power to capture people and Yura sees him as a safe harbor. Haruka seems to be the one she'd be more of an equal with as he's real with her but I don't see her viewing that as a good thing. The drawings are well done and while I expect that (otherwise I doubt I'd like the manga so much) it is the little moments that shine, like the read through done with the proper backgrounds and Q-ta's back! The romance angle is well developed but the ups and downs of being in the entertainment business is also well developed, like the lost little girl at the concert. BOTTOM LINE: I like where this is headed!

I am enjoying this series. In this volume Yura is still interviewing to be the Noodle Shop girl. Q-Ta is going out of town and Yura wants to learn more about him. She is asking Haruka what Q-ta cologne is and he says he will tell her if she comes to his concert. But she has to get the tickets by herself. Will Yura end up at the concert and find out Q-ta cologne. Will she hear from Q-TA while he is gone? Does she become the Noodle Shop girl. Blushing rockstars…my 13yo is going to die when she reads this volume. More drama; more fun. Yura is shaping up into a very interesting character. Personally, I wish there was more time spent on Yura's acting than on the romance, but then it's shojo manga, so I'm not really surprised. Accessible artwork, funny and cute characters, and overall a good read. It will work very well for those readers who want to find themselves in a love triangle with two hot musician twins. I know, I know, kinda ridiculous, but still a cute story.

I'm curious at this love triangle. I mean normally I have one person who I like better than the other. Usually I like the ass more because they show another side later on. But this time I like both Q-ta and Haruka. And I can't tell who Yura's going to end with! It's so frustrating! I'm curious at this love triangle. All I can say is that I still like the way things are going with the story. Can't wait to read the next book and see what happens with Yura and the twins. I still think that Yura is very insecure and needy at times. All I can say is that I still like the way things are going with the story. Ooooh, this series just keeps getting better and better! It's very clearly taking a similar path to Hot Gimmick, but seeing as I loved that too I don't really mind! Yura loses her contact lenses right before a reading, and somehow, that helps her get through it. I admit that I only continue reading Miki Aihara series because of her hawt guys since the story hasn't really been too exciting so far.
