This is a completely true story, a chronicle of a chain of incredible and fascinating events which have taken place in the author's life. These are not ordinary events but encounters with the next world, proving beyond doubt the existence of Life after Death. Kenneth recounts how his 'Grannie Alice', through years of co- operation with a world famous Medium, requested him to act as her pen and her saviour in order to right some wrongs in her latterly tortured life and become her chronicler and agent on this earth: and how she informed him of the tasks required in order to fulfill her wishes. As the book shows, he has been able to accomplish these and set her record straight. Additionally to his grandmother's own story, unexpectedly and astoundingly, he has found almost irrefutable proof that reincarnation occurred within his remarkable family. This book must surely become a classic in the field of the paranormal. For anyone with even just a fleeting interest in this subject and family history, to read it is a must. If you doubt that there is life after death in respect of knowledge and communication and in the phenomenon of reincarnation, then it is time for you to think again...

I read it as a bit of a cross between non-fiction and fiction, not worrying too much about the accuracy in the facts that were presented. It was light and kept my interest. I particularly enjoyed the descriptions of the research he conducted on his family history. One thing that bothered me was that the author writes disparagingly about relatives who lived in Birmingham, often comparing his level of Interesting account of researching family history and finding peace with past events and people. One thing that bothered me was that the author writes disparagingly about relatives who lived in Birmingham, often comparing his level of education, mannerisms, and wealth to theirs (he had more of everything in his mind), which I found off-putting and almost caused me to stop reading halfway through. It was an enjoyable book overall and has given me a renewed interest in getting back to researching my own family history.
