A book to learn from, to love and to keep on returning to... Marian Green is a truly gifted writer and witch. Highly recommended.

I found one or two interesting things I might try to incorporate into my practice, but overall I was not impressed with the judgey, condescending tone nor the condemnation of most modern practices. You can't advocate developing your own way and also insist that the old way is the only way to do this right in the same breath and expect me to give any credence to what you have to say. Glorifying the good old days as doctrine discounts that everything evolves in this world, including witchcraft. It was like trying to navigate a minefield, and I was just so tired by the end of it.
