Still enjoying this. Digging the mystery behind why it went dark, the man in black chasing them, our main character and the fate of her brother, the artwork and learning more about who this Dr. Augustas McCray really is.

It basically ends in the same way as issue 1 does, and you're in the exact same position as you were last issue, but we know a slight backstory about some terrible people with no redeeming qualities... really bland, and clearly just a SyFy pitch for a TV show. Nothing more. Nothing less. Great pencils and colours (there is a beautiful neon two page spread early in the issue) and the pacing and action in this comic makes this a quick read. Designs on the outfits are slick as well. Only concern is that Val shows all the signs of becoming your stereotypical bland female kick a$$ character. So far she is the most boring character. I mean I don't hate her, but I can admit the only reason why I like her is because she's pretty and she's tough Still only 2 issues in and I have faith in S Great pencils and colours (there is a beautiful neon two page spread early in the issue) and the pacing and action in this comic makes this a quick read. 4.2/5 So far so good for Nocterra! The world continues to grow in interesting ways. The villain looks so creepy. Issue #3 cannot come soon enough!

A little bit on the road and get to know a bit more of our characters motivations. Can't wait for issue #3. A little bit on the road and get to know a bit more of our characters motivations. Can't wait for issue #3.

Like where the story is going so far. More revealed about the PM and the characters. More questions introduced. More tension and action.
