I saved his life. Now he’s invaded mine. Two years ago, a split-second decision changed everything. I risked my life for a man I didn’t even know and nearly died for it. I’ve tried to forget him. To forget that whole night. But he hasn’t forgotten me. He’s been watching. Obsessing. Craving. And when he crashes back into my life like a wrecking ball, accompanied by two dark shadows I saved his life. Now he’s invaded mine. Two years ago, a split-second decision changed everything. And when he crashes back into my life like a wrecking ball, accompanied by two dark shadows—men he calls his brothers—the life I’ve been trying to rebuild for myself shatters into a thousand sharp-edged pieces. He believes our souls are bound by blood, and he’s come back to claim what’s his. Two years ago, I saved Marcus Constantine’s life. Now I wish I hadn’t. Now Marcus and the guys step out of the shadows into Ayla's life...... But these men are not living ordinary lives and getting involved with them puts her in grave danger ****** The good I enjoyed this one, Ayla is a strong and fierce h, moving forward with her life despite her physical disability Marcus becomes obsessed with Ayla after she saved his life and had been silently looking out for her with the help of his two friends. When she's attacked though he rescues her and outing himself. I really liked how intense and focused on her he was, so much so I almost wished this was a m/f and not RH romance The sexual chemistry was off the charts The plot was interesting enough though I admit I didn't see things heading the way they did The bad I'm not sure the ages were confirmed but I'm thinking early twenties, this unfortunately reminded me of college bully romances(no bullying took place in this book) in that these guys are mega rich, with mansions and the best cars, with no other adults around.....yet none of them went to work. They all claimed to work for their parents yet never actually went to work......just badasses with fast cars, safe houses, mansions and no responsibilities aside from probably one phone call that I remember The h saying fuck in every convo.....that does not a badass make I actually would've preferred to see the h struggle a teeny tiny bit with her physical issue. It's like the author forgot sometimes she was missing a partial limb.....there was one scene during sex in book 2 where I was SURE she forgot 😂 I don't think I have such balance and coordinating even with my two hands The bottom line? My first read by this author and I enjoyed it. I will say that at the time of writing this review after some time has passed since I finished this book I'd actually go with a high 3 rather than 4 but that could also be because I didn't enjoy the rest of the books as much as I'd hoped. Cliffhanger RH though she's involved with only Marcus here I believe, the connection with the other 2 exists however They're not together for 2 years in the beginning as the guys secretly watch out for her but I don't believe there were any others during that time for the guys The h was sexually abused as a teen (can't remember in which book this is revealed)

Right away from the blurb, I just knew that Sweet Obsession was going to be something special. Something different. And now after reading it, I can tell you that I wasn’t wrong in the least. Something different. And now after reading it, I can tell you that I wasn’t wrong in the least. It is absolutely Callie Rose at her finest and hands down, my favorite book of hers to date. Ayla hasn’t had an easy go of things. Getting bounced around in the system from a young age, she’s had to deal with some traumatic issues in her young life, but it isn’t until one fateful night at a club when her life gets changed forever. Her path crosses with Marcus Constantine and their fate was entwined from that night forward. Ayla is so incredibly strong, super stubborn, and feisty. She doesn’t back down from anyone, or anything, and she gives as good as she gets. This is a girl who can easily dish it out. Then there’s Marcus. And Ryland. And Theo. Three alpha males who keep to the shadows of Ayla’s life until they have no choice but to step back into the light. Marcus commands the room with his presence, while Theo’s easy going demeanor and Ry’s brooding nature complete the trifecta. They all offer something different, all complementary to the others. It doesn’t take long for Ayla’s walls to crack. There is so much going on in this book, so many fun layers to peel back. Mystery, suspense, action, and chemistry so hot, it’s nothing short of an inferno. I couldn’t put this book down and kept needing to know more and more from these four. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

4.5 stars!! Oooo I need the next book STAT!! The premise for this series has me salivating and having read the first book I cannot wait to devour the rest. This is a reverse harem with a difference, and I love that. The plot of this book is something I have never read before and you knew the boys were hiding something, but seriously NOT THAT. I love our heroine, she is strong and knows her own mind, but she felt that connection the night they met and it will not leave her alone. While there isn't 4.5 stars!! Ahhh! Just what I needed! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to read Callie Rose and I’m glad I didn’t miss this one! As usual, I’m obsessed with the guys Callie writes. She’s a go to author for me when it comes to RH because I know I’ll fall in love with her characters. Marcus, Ryland (love his name so much), and Theo are our H’s. She shouldn’t have survived, but she did. Two years later circumstances bring three shadowy figures back into her life. She’s drawn to them, they are drawn to her and everything from there turns into questions, secrets, lies, want, sex, tension, games and bloodshed. This foursome is exciting and sexy. I’m so excited to explore more of their dynamic and how see how their story unfolds! Also, I need to not have to live with that cliffy for too long— ya girl is over here biting her nails in anticipation for answers! *ARC received in exchange for honest review

4.5 stars. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed this book. I thought the entire series was out before I started reading book 1 and am so disappointed it is not. Callie knocked it out of the park with this book. I didn't want it to end. I was hooked from the first page. She becomes a broken shell of her old self trying to put herself back together. A couple years pass and she sees all three boys again when they insert themselves into her life. Holy mother of pearl!! 😳 I didn’t see that coming. At. All. What did I just read? You could have knocked me over with a feather. Sweet Obsession is a slightly dark, definitely different take on obsession. It has some fantastic characters and plenty of intrigue. I thoroughly enjoyed the pace and storyline of the book. The bond between the male leads is interesting and the female lead, Ayla, has a story worth knowing and her strength is admirable. Note: there is a cliffhanger as this is the first book in this series. I can't wait for the next book! 5 Obsessive Stars! Sweet Obsession is a slightly dark, definitely different take on obsession. But because she saved the mysterious man, said man decided that him and his two friends shall stalk Ayla for 2 and a half years... At first I was like is this another Fifty Shades of Grey, where there is an alpha male who is rich and will stalk his "obsession"? And ummm yes it was kinda like that. I think that the fact that Marcus (the beautiful earth and air eyed man) literally stalks the crap out of our main character with his two friends Theo (the goofy not serious one) and Ryland (broad silent type). You might think, "Kaity why did you still read the book if you know you didn't like it" and to that I tell you, "I like to torture myself if it isn't obvious". I was wanting to know why Marcus and Co wanted to stalk Ayla and the only reason we got for the whole time is that he wanted to know her, and her heart and what goes on in her mind... and I'm like you couldn't have seen her when she was in the hospital or something 2 years earlier???!!!!!!!! Also the fact when Ayla would have flashbacks about her time getting shot, she would have it mixed with a sex dream with the three boys, and I'm like "uhhh...hmmm that is weird... but to each their own, in your own dream world" and that is where I thought it would end... BUT nope when she has a flashback in real life with Marcus and bros, she decides to act on her dream of taking it head on (yeah I did a penis joke if you didn't get it haha) but yes to clear this up she ended up having sex with Marcus and Theo (poor Ryland got the short end of the stick) while having a crippling flash back, and I am reading it thinking to myself, "there is no way that this is happening right now" SO that is where I decide to draw the line and stop myself from torture. I will skim the end to just see what happens, but honestly I just don't care about these characters anymore. For having romance in this RH, I felt no romantic connection with Ayla with the other two guys besides Marcus, since she rarely hung out with the other two guys. I don't get how this had such a high rating, but I must have missed the hype train for this, but its over and it is time to move on!

Holy guacamole does Callie Rose know how to write a book that walks the fine line between insane and captivating. SWEET OBSESSION was full of lust, drama, crazy, and secrets, and I couldn’t get enough. I thought she wrote her best work when I read the Kings of Linwood series, but I was incredibly wrong because this next trilogy is going to rip me apart even worse. This book was an adrenaline rush in the worst way and I am 100% on board for the rest of this series.

Sometimes I download a bunch of books from Kindle Unlimited and take my time working through them. This is one of those books I had planned to get around to later rather than sooner (after finishing other trilogies I’d started), but I got the title mixed up with a novella I wanted to read, and I ended up starting it anyway. By the time I realized it was not, in fact, the book I’d planned to read, I was already totally sucked in with no regrets and by the time it ended, I was eager for book two. By the time I realized it was not, in fact, the book I’d planned to read, I was already totally sucked in with no regrets and by the time it ended, I was eager for book two. There's a lot of build-up in this first book and if you’re looking for hot RH action, you’re going to have to put it on ice. In fact, I’d forgotten it was an RH romance when I read it and only saw hints of it in there. Still, I enjoyed the chemistry between the heroine, Ayla and hero #1, Marcus. Ayla was moody and sometimes difficult to relate to at first, but after everything she’d gone through, it made sense that she had walls up and had a hard time trusting anyone. Of course those things would take time to change. I thought she had good character growth over the series and if you stick with it, her connection to the other two heroes develops well. Out of the trilogies I’ve read this year, I found this to be one of the more gripping ones, and I read it straight through with no breaks between. Good plot and pacing, good chemistry, hot sex … I liked it a lot. I personally didn’t find it very dark but I guess that’s a matter of perspective depending on what you normally read. Based on this series, I will definitely be checking out more Callie Rose!

I love that she isn't perfect and has scars both emotionally and physically. I think there is still a lot to unpack. I feel like there is more to her brother and who her parents may be. I was surprised about what the guys were involved in. Big cliffhanger.... Definitely excited for the next book.

The Boys (not only romantic)- Marcus- Look, I have a thing for stalker novels, and this man takes the cake 10 fold. I loved him ever since the first sentence. While he got a bit wild for my taste at some points, I still loved him deeply. The dynamic he shared with the other boys was beautiful and I was intrigued by his acceptance with the others. It was nice to see, but it was shocking to say the least at first. As it went on I understood it much more about how and why he accepted her with them but it was a shock. Theo- This man was a teddybear. He was a character to envy from the start. The first kiss was what really got me and the fact that he was somehow always there for Ayla when she needed him was that much sweeter. Don't get me wrong he was fiercely protective sure but there was nothing but softness towards her even for a moment. It was refreshing from the other two, but I loved all three of their relationships in their own ways. Ryland- Fuck. My absolute favorite of the boys. The hatred at first? Then finding out why was heartbreaking but at the same time admirable. I loved how he never sugarcoated anything to Ayla and made sure she understood everything that he was doing or telling her. He was a man of few words compared to the others but that always made me pay more attention when he did speak. Dom/Caleb- The twist here was a l m o s t predictable, but then again I was just assuming she would find her brother in one of the competitors and wasn't really inclined to think it would be Dom. I loved the ending with him and was really glad to see that he had completely changed himself for the better. Sometimes your actions are a cause of your upbringing, so I'm glad him and Ayla had a good ending. Over All- this was an amazing series, the stalker aspect, the mafia, the obsession, the betrayal. Everything about it was alluring and captivating and I'll most certainly be reading it again in the future.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I don't understand how this has such a high rating. This is just a ridiculous, laughable mess of a story. First off, I obviously didn't read the blurb properly, or I likely wouldn't have gone near it, since this is a reverse harem style book which I have no interest in reading. Reverse or otherwise. Other than that, I just didn't like it. Who would want to read about some idiot jumping in front of three strangers to take a bullet (3) meant for them? Other than that, I just didn't like it. Who would want to read about some idiot jumping in front of three strangers to take a bullet (3) meant for them? She might have been trying to warn them or whatever, but seriously, what did she think was going to happen? Then it cuts to two and half years later and it turns out they've been stalking her all those years. The main character is perpetually angry and there is a painful lack of dialogue throughout. It is also exhaustively repetitive. Plus, why is overly stupid girls reaction to having unprotected sex to worry about being pregnant? Okay, that is a legitimate concern, but the first thing I would worry about is if he isn't clean, then I can worry about if I'm pregnant or not after being tested for any STD. That thought didn't even enter her head. And don't even get me started on her using a guy at the bar to teach Marcus a lesson or some rubbish. She is being stalked by three men who think they own her. Again, I ask what did she think was going to happen? Then her reaction to one of them beating the guy was to kiss one of the other three stalkers. What! As for the troupe of girls always hating each other simply to add some easy conflict, I'm over it. Why can't girls be friends? Support one another? Or, at the very least, have another girl to counter the "mean girl" thing. There was also someone called Carson, who might have been portrayed as the bad guy, but seriously, who isn't in this thing? Least he asked a fair question, why doesn't she hate the three men that have been stalking her? The ending is stupid, laughably so. It ended on a "cliff hanger" with many, many unanswered questions that I have no desire to find out the answers to.

His name is Marcus, but she doesn't know that until about two years later, when he gets tired of waiting and finally reveals himself. After I found out this was a stalker romance, I clicked "Read Now" so fast my eReader could hardly keep up with my excitement! This book is FIERY and ~hot~, but I will admit, I was pretty lukewarm towards it after first. Then Callie Rose threw us a 180 and I'm left breathless and ready for book two! I wasn't really looking to start a series, but hell, I must! There’s a bright red mark across her cheek, and I smile calmly at her as she stares at me with wrath in her eyes. “That’s the thing about the disabled,” I drawl. “Sometimes you gotta watch the fake hand, not the real one.” It's always hard for me to believe that a bunch of badass young adults are so dangerous, but this book sets up the situation *perfectly* where once little details (and big ones) are revealed, everything suddenly makes sense. I loved the main romance between Marcus and Ayla, but it's slow smolder between Ayla and Marcus's best friends Theo and Ryland that really has me rabid for the next installment.  Theo (bright-eyed and charismatic) and Ryland (gentle, but hard and glower-y) have so much promise to add to this next one! At this point, Marcus needs to step aside (jk lol ...but maybe?) so we can get this show on the road!

Not dark or obsessive I'm probably going to be the first one to not like this book seeing everyone else has given it stellar rating. Let's get down to the issues, I loved the idea of this storyline, I loved the idea of our main character, I liked the guys, but the way this story is written, the execution is kinda hilarious. She saves this guy and two in a half years later he pops back up saving her from a mugger, that's when we start to see how this story is gonna to roll out, and that's also whe Not dark or obsessive I'm probably going to be the first one to not like this book seeing everyone else has given it stellar rating. She saves this guy and two in a half years later he pops back up saving her from a mugger, that's when we start to see how this story is gonna to roll out, and that's also when I started not liking it. we are told over and over how marcus obsession with are fmc is deep, it's so consuming, but I didn't feel this so called obsessive connection, it was pretty much her saying this, and how she has to get out from under his watch. Yes Marcus has her watched from a distance to keep her safe, but he is not over the top crazy with it, which is how I think when you use the word like " obsession ". No he just makes sure she's safe and has a thing for her, maybe a little alpha about it ( tamed alpha) but that's as far as I would go with his interest. Our fmc is desperate to not have this man like her? Which is weird, I mean it's not like she has much else going on in her life, but sure w.e we watch her make a big deal about this man's interest in her head over and over is kind of over kill. Then she sleeps with the " said " guy!! And he's like so sweet about it might I add ( swoon) !! She goes home and decideds, " he doesn't own me" eye roll please. Anyways goes to work, and finally decides to flirt and have sex with this guy who's been into her for awhile to make a statement? Then is wondering why the guy gets beat up? I just can't with this story, it's ridiculous and forced, and it's also far from a dark read. Dnf 74%

I could never, ever forget those eyes. I stared into their churning depths two and a half years ago as my lifeblood poured from my body. CALLLLLIE! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME? Where do I even begin to review this?! Emotions!! PTSD, anxiety, fear, pain, suffering, pleasure, paranoia. PTSD, anxiety, fear, pain, suffering, pleasure, paranoia. One night, two and a half years ago, Ayla makes a split decision to jump in front of a gun for a stranger and his two shadows. It nearly cost her entire life but she didn't walk away without any physical or mental damage. But Ayla was long damaged before this. She has a past that haunts her deeply and this isn't her first dance with death. It was the dark-haired man from Club 47. And the same two men who were with him that night. All three rising up out of the darkness like ghosts from a fucking grave. They've stayed out of sight for two and a half years, until one night they can't. Marcus, Theo and Ryland make a rash decision when Ayla is in the face of danger, and it changes everything. Marcus owes Ayla his life and these men are done hiding their protection from her. She starts to build a relationship with Marcus, but the feelings are there for Theo and Ry as well with how much time they insist on protecting her. Little does she know, she needs it now more than ever when the truth is finally revealed about these men and the lives they live. How could I have been so goddamn stupid? After years of numbness, I felt something when Marcus touched me, when he looked at me. I felt a strange connection to all three of them. And I let those feelings override every scrap of common sense I have, every harsh lesson the world has taught me about putting trust where it doesn’t belong. And now I’m paying the price for it.

Send help My brain is mush. And I mean that in the best way possible. I’m one of those readers that sits down with a book/series and doesn’t get up until it’s finished, which means I am FURIOUS right now!! I’m usually SO good at remembering to check to see if the full series is released before starting it, but I’ve seen the first book of this series come across my recommended list so many times that when I read the blurb and didn’t hate it.. I just dove in. For some reason, before I was even done Send help My brain is mush. And I mean that in the best way possible. I just dove in. For some reason, before I was even done with the sample, I thought to check how many books there were and that’s when I found out the last book isn’t supposed to release until OCTOBER!??!?!?!!😩. It’s criminal. Truly. I’m not an author, but I read a solid 5 books a week so I think it’s fair for me to say an author shouldn’t release a series book unless the next one is coming at least 2 weeks later. A month at the most. I was sucked in from the get go. •Alpha female that doesn’t need anyone and is just so innately good. •Alpha male(s) with an instant attachment that grows into an obsession. I’m starting to notice a like a good obsessive romance. People think it’s taboo or unhealthy, but the connection it allows (when done right) sucks the reader right in and leaves them wanting more. (Exhibit me) •A solid plot outside of the romance between characters that only solidifies that connection Um. Yes please. ughhhhhh. The cliffhanger at the end of book one... the (sort of) resolution of it halfway through book 2.... The bomb dropped at the end of book 2?!?! 🤯🤯🤯 Who do I have to pay to get an early copy of book 3??? I’m going nuts!! Read the series. I need likeminded people to go crazy with.
