I was so glad to see Luke and Ellie getting along better and both working on their marriage. I hated how Michelle is trying to get between Luke and Ellie. I don’t trust or like her, and I feel she is up to something. I feel Michelle is working with Jack against Luke. I don’t understand it or how Jack can be so cruel to his brother. I didn’t want to put the book down. Something happens at the end that breaks my heart. I can’t wait for the last book! I strongly encourage you to read the book. End Game Vegas Aces is a series of quick reads that revolves around Luke Dalton, wide receiver for the Las Vegas-based Aces football team, and his best friend and fellow teammate’s little sister, Ellie Nolan. This is book four of the series, Waiting Game. Book one of the series, Home Game, sets up the series and ends with an unexpected angsty twist. Long Game, book two, gets serious as Luke and Ellie begin to live and work together. In book three, Fair Game, Luke’s dysfunctional family is introduced leading up to the couple’s nuptials as they move forward with their fake marriage. Each book is sure to have the reader ready to grab the next book of the series. FROM HOME GAME, BOOK ONE: Josh Nolan loved playing for his hometown team – the Chicago Bears – but he doesn’t regret getting traded to the Las Vegas Aces one year ago. His new teammates are already like brothers. With his fiancée Nicki at his side, life couldn’t be better. It is just days before Josh and Nicki’s early summer wedding as the story opens. Ellie Marie Nolan, twenty-five, always finds herself in trouble. She doesn’t always think first. She suffers from foot in the mouth syndrome and is prone to accidents. Her brother Josh laughs when she tells him all about her slipups. He happens to be a pro-football player – and engaged to be married to Ellie’s best friend since sophomore year of high school. Ellie couldn’t be happier for the pair, though she might be a little jealous. Her most recent attempt at a boyfriend failed – and she lost her job as well, a job in public relations that she loved. So when Josh suggests that there is nothing preventing her from following him and Nicki to Las Vegas, she gives it serious consideration. And when he works out temporary living arrangements for her, she can hardly refuse giving it a go. She can always move back if it doesn’t work out. So instead of planning to fly back after Josh and Nicki’s wedding this weekend, she packs up her apartment and hopes to make Vegas her new home. Luke Dalton, thirty-one, lives for football. He started out his professional career playing for the Aces and fully intends to stay in Las Vegas until his retirement from the sport. But new recruits join the league each year, competing for a limited number of spots. He sees the writing on the wall, even if he chooses to ignore it. He is disciplined and professional in all he does, hoping to delay the inevitable. What really weighs him down, however, is the women from is past. He and Savannah divorced just over four years ago, but the sports reporter still tries to squeeze him for all she can. And Michele was a mistake that he hopes not to repeat. That ended a few months ago. He never should have had her move in after just a year of dating. He has learned from experience, though, and vows never to marry again. When Luke and Ellie meet as strangers on the eve of Josh and Nicki’s rehearsal dinner, neither is looking for a relationship. But when they later cross paths again, their simple tryst turns out to be incredibly complicated. Ellie may be an open book, but Luke is a little more complex. Ellie gets conflicting ideas about the quiet-spoken bachelor, and she cannot quite make up her mind about him. Forced together by circumstances, though, she begins to get a glimpse into the real man. This story ends with a surprising twist that leads into the second book of the series. I rate this book 4.5 stars. FROM LONG GAME, BOOK TWO: As book two opens, it is still Tuesday morning and Luke feels the reality of the situation weighing on him, but Ellie keeps a cool head, thinking like a PR professional. Michelle is vile and clearly makes Luke miserable. Unlike Luke, Ellie smells a rat. The thought of Michelle manipulating her way into Luke’s life crushes him, but Ellie explains that he can be a good father without giving into Michelle’s ploys. Ellie has lingering questions about Luke’s acceptance of the claims – there is so much about him that she still doesn’t know – but she focuses on the task at hand instead of badgering the very private bachelor. The couple agrees to continue with their fake engagement in order to partially shield Luke from Michelle’s machinations. They even begin to toy with the idea of turning their fake engagement into a fake marriage despite Luke’s vow to never marry again. In desperation, Luke challenges Ellie to prove her worth in her PR efforts as his reputation stands to take a beating. Ellie’s relationship with Luke is beyond complicated as they continue to get to know one another in this book. Luke provides her a place to live as well as a job, and they need to portray a couple in love as they begin to be seen in public. There are mixed signals and confusing feelings galore on both sides, but it is Luke that holds the pair back. He continues to tell her that he is no Prince Charming when everything she learns about him indicates otherwise. Ellie slowly gets pulled into his life and his past. Each person she meets gives her a new piece of the puzzle to the enigmatic Luke Dalton. Debbie, Luke’s cook. Michelle, his ex-girlfriend. His ex-wife Savannah. Ace’s owner Calvin Bennett. And finally Luke’s family – his little sister Kaylee, his older brother Jack, and his parents – Tim and Carol Dalton. But the deeper Ellie gets, the more questions she has. Luke and Ellie’s story continues with surprising revelations as the pair settles in and tries to stick to business despite their intense chemistry. Ellie takes on the task of saving Luke’s career and reputation, but she is often in her head with romantic thoughts of Luke. It does sometimes get a little repetitive, but on the other hand Luke’s behavior is confusing. Their one night stand turned friendship is complicated by mixed signals. This book is a little more serious as Luke’s history begins to come to light. He is absolutely adorable with his Lucky Charm habit and quiet but thoughtful ways. Still, he is honest in saying there is more to the story, which foretells of more roadblocks on the way to any potential happy ending for the couple. The tension builds when Ellie finally meets Luke’s family, and the book ends with another angsty twist that leads to the third book in the series. I rate this book 4.5 stars. FROM FAIR GAME, BOOK THREE: As book three opens, it is still the evening of Luke’s family’s arrival in Hawaii, and Ellie finds herself knocking on Jack’s door. It is shocking and confusing to read, much like Ellie herself feels. She has a lot to say to Jack, but her own confounded state and bad timing prevent her from getting the answers and reassurances she seeks. This does nothing to rectify things between her and Luke, and all the progress made between the pair is erased upon his family’s arrival. Every time they gather there is drama. Sometimes it brings the couple closer, and sometimes it sets them further apart. Jack, however, is consistent in trying to rile up his younger brother Luke. They are both magnetic and powerful personalities, but Jack’s loud and arrogant ways overpower Luke’s more laid back and chill persona when the two are together. While Ellie first finds it difficult to resist Jack’s evil charm, she does begin to get a small glimpse of the underlying problem between the brothers. Yet while she has fallen hard and fast for Luke, her love remains unrequited. Luke struggles when in the presence of his family, and isn’t in a terribly good state of mind. Nevertheless there are moments that keep hope alive that the couple might actually find their happy ending. Ellie struggles with her feelings at times, but she remains convinced that Luke might be her Prince Charming. Although Luke really pulls inside of himself in the few days his family is there, he does a few remarkably Prince Charming-like things that begin to redeem his thoughtless inattention to Ellie. Like in book two, Ellie is once again in her head a lot. She is confused, but it does begin to drag. Hopefully the next two books in the series will have more action versus inner dialogue. Nevertheless, this is just one piece of a story that that is steeped in suspense as each installment comes to a dramatic cliffhanger. Just as events begin to take a positive turn for the couple, the book ends with yet another twist. I rate this book four stars. IN THIS BOOK: As book three closed, Kaylee had overheard Luke and Ellie, and she had discovered their planned marriage was fake. But in the aftermath Luke had learned that Ellie loved him. He planned a private ceremony for just the two of them – without his family and their drama – in their room the morning of the planned wedding. Josh and Nicki had joined the wedding party, and later that day Luke surprised Ellie by letting her parents in on their secret and inviting them to join in the formal ceremony. It was all lovely until Michelle showed up to break up the wedding. As book four opens, Michelle insists the wedding cannot take place, but when she learns she is really too late she loses steam. Rather than her leaving, though, Jack invites her to stay for the celebration as his date. Needless to say that it is never dull, nor pleasant, when the Dalton family gets together. But all that only brings Luke and Ellie closer together as Luke confesses that he loves her, too. All seems magical, but the real world awaits them. It is complicated to say the least. The couple’s honeymoon phase comes to an end all too soon. As a football wife, Ellie is introduced to a new world, where wives are often left to their own devices as their husbands work tirelessly and travel for part of the year. She begins to settle into her new role while continuing to be supportive of Luke. Unlike most wives, though, she has to deal with her husband’s baby’s mother, who happens to work for the team. She realizes that if she and Luke do work out in the long run, that Michelle and the baby will become a part of her life, too. Still, she has questions. She doesn’t trust Michelle. And Luke is rather pathetic when it comes to standing up to Michelle since she announced she is carrying his child. His career means everything to him, and upsetting Calvin, Michelle’s father and the owner of the Aces, will only hurt his chances of getting his contract renewed. But that comes at a very big price. Ellie faces the very real possibility that with Michelle as a permanent fixture in their lives, their relationship is doomed. A fearless manipulator, Michelle works hard to fracture the newlywed’s bliss. Things really spiral out of control after training camp begins. Luke is gone most of the time, and Ellie is a bit lost. They both feel the pressure of being apart, and each focuses on their career. Jack makes a few appearances in the story, and he never fails to stir up trouble. And Michelle eagerly leans on him in the hopes of getting Luke’s attention. Savannah is in the background, but the secret that she knows about the Dalton brothers still lingers as a big question mark. It is something neither brother wants revealed to the public, but neither can control it. As Michelle manipulates, Ellie struggles to maintain her composure at times, though overall she really does put up with a lot. Too much, really. In fact, she is sometimes a little hard to believe. But she finally does start to recognize the error of her ways. Luke gets a little frustrating here, and his priorities are questionable. His reasoning fails to take into consideration the fact that he is married, and one wonders if he might just be better off marrying Michelle instead. Still, his mind is on his work so he deserves a little slack. The story gets crazy, but there is one wonderful moment when Luke seems to come alive. The couple struggles with the uncertainty of the Michelle situation and questions of paternity, but little do they know what the future holds for them. The book ends with a tearful twist as everything changes for Luke and Ellie. Their story concludes in the next book. This installment of Luke and Ellie’s story picks up the pace. This book is about transitioning from the honeymoon phase of their relationship into daily life. It evokes a wide range of emotions. Luke and Ellie are finally together, and though their future is still in the air, they are giving their relationship a go. At this point they have had the chance to get to know one another as friends, roommates, and employer/employee. Hence they have something real and solid to build upon. But most new couples aren’t faced with so many taxing complications, and Luke and Ellie are truly tested. The divide between Luke and Jack, as well as between Luke and his parents, remains only been partially explained. More is yet to be told. Hold on tight for a few big surprises! Luke and Ellie’s story continues as training camp begins. Michelle cranks up the pressure as the newlyweds try to settle in. Their story has a few more crazy surprises before settling in for the final installment, in which things get serious. It is nicely written. The plot is somewhat complex. It is written in first person from Ellie’s POV. I rate this book 4.5 stars. I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

If this is your first installment of the Vegas Aces series, stop and go back and read the first three installments or you’ll be lost. I don’t believe the author intended these short reads to be standalones and they all end in cliffhangers. Of course if you start at the beginning you run the risk of possibly not caring enough about Ellie and Luke to read this one. I’m really not sure why I’ve kept reading this collection of novellas? Even though its centered around my favorite sport, professional football I’ve found the first three books mediocre at best. I think part of the reason may be the author writes for a younger audience with different tastes. At any rate I’ve invested my time through three novella length stories to stay with the saga of Ellie Nolan, now Ellie Dalton and Luke Dalton, so why not see the series through to the end? I truly enjoyed this book and was surprised at how quickly I came to the end. It’s fast paced and we quickly get off the “Does Luke love me, do we have a future and why won’t he fuck me?” loop we seem to have been on since the first installment in the series after the guy Ellie had a one night stand with turns out to be her brother’s BFF, best man at his wedding and the guy he arranged to have her stay with while he’s on his honeymoon. FYI this entire series is told from Ellie’s P.O.V. As the last book Fair Game closed Ellie and Luke’s wedding is interrupted by Michelle Bennett, Luke’s ex who claims to be pregnant with his baby. This book picks up where the last left off. As we know Luke had actually arranged for he and Ellie to get married earlier in the day as a pre-emptive measure thinking his brother Jack or someone else would attempt to disrupt their public nuptials. This wedding was just for show. After dismissing Michelle's interruption and proceeding with the wedding and sitting through an uncomfortable reception with Luke’s dysfunctional family Luke and Ellie return to their hotel room. Luke does a 180 degree turn and confesses to Ellie that he really is in love with her and is tired of pretending he isn’t. Ellie after weeks of living with Luke and fantasizing about having sex with him again, finally gets laid. Everything is wonderful until Luke wakes up the next morning and tells her it was probably a mistake. This guy could give a girl whiplash. Then he apologizes and explains he only said it because his other relationships have been such a disaster he’s used to them having a one year or less shelf life so his knee jerk reaction was to push Ellie away again. But he swears he loves her and wants to make their marriage work. They have a lot of sex. Things are going wonderfully until Ellie agrees to allow Michelle to move in with them after it somehow slipped Luke’s mind to tell her that he and Michelle had discussed it and that Michelle just assumed it was okay before he had a chance to talk it over with Ellie. Somehow he also forgot to mention he had planned on having Michelle and the baby live with them after the baby is born so he can be a real father in its life. It seemed to me that every time Ellie stood up for herself or Luke to Michelle, Luke chastised her for it. His fear of pissing off his team’s owner who is Michelle’s father really started to grow old. I mean, yeah, he’s spent his entire career playing for Vegas but their hardly the only team in the league. The guys a Pro Bowl veteran receiver plenty of teams would be thrilled to add to their roster. How much shit are you willing to swallow to remain on the team? Then there’s the issue that even at his age he’s stuck his head in the sand when it comes into planning for his post NFL player future. The Luke character is really beginning to grate on me. The problems with Michelle aside everything is going great in their relationship until disaster strikes leaving us with a final cliffhanger we’ll just have to wait a couple of weeks until the final installment in the series comes out to see how it all plays out. (view spoiler)[ I not a beta or advance reader so I haven’t seen the last installment but I’m willing to bet the last book contains a lot about a sullen Luke pushing a confused and heartbroken Ellie away while he struggles to come to grips with his injury. I’m also thinking the big secret that Savannah has been holding over both Luke and Jack is revealed. I wonder if they had a threesome? And lastly it looks like our girl Ellie is pregnant so whether Michelle is carrying Luke’s baby or not (I’m betting its Jack’s) it looks like he’s going to be a daddy. And maybe that’s the news he’ll need to wake him from his self-pity over his potentially career ending injury and get his head out of his ass? Just guessing here. (hide spoiler)] as

Waiting Game is the fourth installment of Lisa Suzanne's Vegas Aces series. The story continues to be told from the POV of the heroine, Ellie, and CAN NOT be read out of order with the other books of the series. I feel like it's been such a waiting game up until this point but we Waiting Game is the fourth installment of Lisa Suzanne's Vegas Aces series. The story continues to be told from the POV of the heroine, Ellie, and CAN NOT be read out of order with the other books of the series. There is still one more book to come, so despite all my protests when the book has no more pages, Waiting Game WILL end in a cliffhanger. Waiting Game is the perfect title for this installment of the Vegas Aces series. I feel like it's been such a waiting game up until this point but we get some of the missing pieces into who Luke Dalton is as a person and what he is feeling. The story picks up in the middle of Luke and Ellie's wedding when Michelle shows up to try and stop it- only she can't because they already got married earlier that morning. But it's after the wedding that my heart swooned. Luke, despite all his protesting, is living up to Ellie's nickname of Prince Charming. He finally professes his feelings for Ellie and makes it known to her and her family that he is in love with her and that they are for real going to try to make it work. Not only that but the intense chemistry that was found between Luke and Ellie in the first book, Home Game, is finally back! And it is good! I love how Luke is starting to open up more to Ellie about his past and really let down his guard some while also showing her how much he appreciates her. He is still hiding something between him and his brother Jack, and it has to be something big. I hate that he didn't spill everything to Ellie at this point but I have to keep reminding myself that there is only one more book coming so everything will hopefully be explained soon! The biggest hurdle in this book is dealing with Michelle and all the baby drama. There are still some questions about the baby's paternity, while I'm hoping Luke isn't the daddy, I like how the possibility of Jack was thrown in the ring too. Since the results haven't arrived by the end of Waiting Game, we still have to wait to see how that will all play out. By the end of Waiting Game, I am thrilled to have some of the series come together but now I'm still waiting- is Michelle's baby Luke's? What are the Dalton brothers hiding? Is there a chance of reconciliation between the brothers? Will Luke revert back into the stoic, safe guarded version of himself because he thinks his career is over? Is there really going to be a baby Dalton, no matter the results of Michelle's test?! I absolutely can't wait to have everything come together in the final installment of the Vegas Aces series, appropriately titled, End Game.

On the day of the charity, everyone is impressed with how Ellie planned everything out. The next week Luke has to leave for training camp; he'll be gone for two weeks. Ellie doesn't know what to do with herself at home all day. Luke surprises her with her own PR firm and some of his teammates want Ellie to be their publicists as well. Ellie can't believe how well everything is going until she goes to meet the staff for the team. As Ellie is walking out Michelle asks why Ellie didn't stop by her office. Ellie doesn't understand why she needs to talk to Michelle. What Michelle tells her is shocking, to say the least. Michelle says that Luke gave her permission to move into their house. Ellie can't believe it and knows she has to do something to stop this. When Luke calls, Ellie tells Luke what happened with Michelle. Luke says that all he told Michelle was that he was going to talk to Ellie about it since Ellie is his wife. As they hang up Luke promises Ellie to fix everything. We took a lot of steps forward in this book, toward the real truth, about what happened in the past and also Luke and Ellie’s relationship. BUT I feel like there’s still so much more to come and so many things that we aren’t aware of! Gosh I am dying, just dying for it all to be revealed and, no joke, I’ll be pissed if the results are not what I want them to be. These two deserve a break and I really want their future to be a bit easier than it has been so far for them, especially with the two freaking bombs Lisa dropped on us at the end of Waiting Game. Gosh this is gonna be the longest, most torturous wait of them all until End Game hits my kindle. The Vegas Aces series is my current crack. I just devour these books so fast and always always want more! I can’t get enough of this series and all the drama. ➳ARC kindly provided by the author, in exchange for an honest review. ➳ Order at: Amazon US ➳ Follow me on: Instagram ⁕ Facebook ⁕ Twitter

Luke finally takes the blindfold off of his eyes and realizes he has something good in his life and needs to hold onto it, but his past mistakes keep getting in his way and he's too scared of losing his job to man-up and deal with them. Enter Ellie who will woman-up for the both of them and address things head on, and protect her husband. I feel like it was fate for these two to meet but then fate is a fickle mistress and she keeps sticking problem after problem in their way. They're going to endure though, I have faith! You can see glimpses of the Luke that Ellie deserves in this one--the company, the tearing of the paperwork, etc. C'mon Luke! Let love win! Michelle needs to go. We all know that she's being less than honest and Jack is probably involved and I'm glad Luke finally stepped in and made it clear what he needs from Michelle. I can't wait until she's no longer part of their lives and I'm holding out hope that she won't be tied to them for the next 18 years. I mean, I'm hoping Jack is stuck with her for that long because those two deserve each other. I did see the twist with Luke at the end coming. I think it was alluded to enough that I had a feeling that was going to happen. I'm really concerned that this is going to push Ellie and Luke back a billion steps, but with one book left, I have faith Lisa is going to wrap this up perfectly and let us see a HEA! Eagerly anticipating the next book. I can't wait! I really hope you go for a ride in this series. It's definitely hard having a huge cliffhanger at the end of each book, but it leaves you wanting and it's so satisfying when you get your hands on the next one!

Waiting Game starts back at Luke and Ellie's wedding, where majority of their guests are trying to stop the wedding. Thankfully for Luke and Ellie they don't succeed which leads to Luke confessing his real feelings to Ellie on their wedding night. "And now that he's confessed how he really feels, I'm going to enjoy every damn minute of this union." After Luke and Ellie return from their honeymoon, they're determined to give themselves a real shot at making their relationship real, no more fake marriage, no more faking their interactions in public. Just to be real with each other and their feelings. But when you marry Luke Dalton, NFL superstar, people are always going to try to come between you, to break you up and to try to take him for themselves. Will Ellie and Luke be able to push through all the obstacles stopping them from having their happily ever after and Ellie being able to ride off into the sunset with her Prince Charming? Or will a new, unexpected obstacle be the one to tear them apart? Read Waiting Game to find out! Wow what can I say...I was not prepared for this book and the way Waiting Game ended, I need End Game and I need it now! I love Waiting Game and seeing the next part in Ellie and Luke's story, we are so close in finding out if Luke really is Ellie's Prince Charming or not and I cannot wait! I received an arc of Waiting Game and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

I really like Ellie and Luke’s relationship in this book. I like the honesty they are (mostly) showing each other. They are really communicating and it’s great to see their relationship blossoming. The symbolism with the contract was great. That being said, Ellie still somewhat annoyed me in this book. She was strong and assertive with Michelle and Luke’s family, she was confident and competent running Luke’s fundraiser, and she put herself out there emotionally with her new husband. She was strong and assertive with Michelle and Luke’s family, she was confident and competent running Luke’s fundraiser, and she put herself out there emotionally with her new husband. However, she also made stupid decisions in regards to Michelle, had childish attitudes towards Luke, and her “am I even going to still be here in a year?” uncertainty. I get that there is uncertainty, but I just found it a bit repetitive at times. And Luke, what happened at the end?! You were doing so great buddy! Why Luke, why?! I know something awful is happening right now but do not push Ellie away. There was so much progress between the two of you. Also, I do not like Michelle. What a manipulative woman. I am crossing my fingers that this kid is not Luke’s. So do I have to like Jack now? Is he doing that thing where bad guys do horrible things but then have a redemption arc in the last few pages? I do not want a redemption arc. Do I? No, I don’t. And what are the secrets?!! What happened the last time?! What could end both Dalton careers?! Are Ellie and Luke going to be able to get through all this?!! Get me some rope and a harness while I just hang out on this massive cliffhanger. How is this all gonna wrap up in book 5?!

Things finally turn the corner in their relationship, and although they have a one-year contractual marriage agreement, Luke finally opens up and admits his true feelings for Ellie. But they don't get to spend much time together before Luke needs to go to training camp and preseason games begin. During this time, Ellie begins to settle in and get to know some of the other pro football wives. But Luke and Ellie aren't in the clear yet. His pregnant ex, Michelle, is still around to wreak havoc along with his trouble-making brother, Jack. What else could possibly go wrong? I loved the fourth installment in Ellie and Luke's story! It was great to have Luke and Ellie finally on the same page about their feelings and ramping up their sexual chemistry again. This tropey series is so much fun! Full of endless twists and drama! I'm addicted, and can't wait to find out what happens next in the final installment! *** I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. ***

So, as a precaution, the official wedding was held earlier that day and while Ellie and Luke signed a one year contract for their marriage, the couple have actually fallen in love. This book focuses a lot on the developing relationship between Luke and Ellie, which is absolutely wonderful. But the author also throws in plenty of drama with Michelle, and alludes to a really big secret between the Dalton brothers which will be revealed in book five,The End Game. There are twists and turns that kept this reader totally engaged and eager to read the final installment of this series! I love this series and highly recommend it! Luke and Ellie are so easy to want them to succeed and find a HEA but with everything happening around and to them it’s hard to see. Lisa Suzanne, author, did a wonderful job with her characters and they have a depth to them that makes them very relatable and easy to empathize with. They have good points as well as some faults and it helps make it more realistic than everything working out for the best. Lisa Suzanne is fast becoming an author that I will be reading more of. I can’t wait for End Game to see what happens between Luke and Ellie. Highly recommend Waiting Game.

I also feel like maybe the issues are getting to be a bit much? Like we know that Luke has issues opening up, it doesn’t need to be reiterated so often, or that that Ellie REALLY loves him. I really really want to hate Jack but there’s something there that makes me like him... I feel sorry for Michelle but do not trust her, and I need to know more about Savannah. Overall, I’m still enjoying their love story and can’t wait to see how it ends. I really want both Luke and Ellie to find happiness and peace... Even if that means not with one another.

This is the 4th book in the Vegas Aces series and you definitely need to have read books 1-3 before starting this one! It picks up right where Book 3 (Fair Game) left off, as Luke's family (brother) pulls out all the stops to interrupt their wedding. They admit their feelings for each other and Ellie is doing everything she can to make their relationship work despite the over-the-top efforts of Michelle and others to undermine it. They work well together as a team, working on a charity function as just getting to know each other better before Luke has to leave for training camp and the start of football season. In spite of everything, Ellie knows there are still secrets between Luke, his brother, Michelle, etc and she worries that whatever has happened will not be okay once it comes out. This is another great read that draws you in and, once again, ends in an agonizing cliffhanger... Bring on Book #5!!

I’m loving this series of novellas just when you think just couple have found happiness another secret comes to he surface and another cliffhanger leaves me on the edge of my seat. They are married and life seems to be moving in the right direction until the pregnant ex moves in with them and like the previous books, in the blink of an eye their world comes crashing down around them. Once again I’m left angry at Lisa Suzanne because I wanted and needed more, I need to know if this couple can win when it seems like the world is stacked against them. I love Luke and Ellie, I adore the secondary characters and I’m captivated in this series of quick reads, whatever I’m reading gets put down as soon as the next book hits my kindle and I’m sure once we get the final read I will start all over at the beginning. Looking forward to the next instalment and I hope it’s coming soon.

The drama of this book has been intense to say the least. At the start of the series, I was intrigued by the premise. I love a good fake relationship romance, add in that it is based around an American footballer even better! That is kind of where things slowly fall apart in my opinion. In book 4 Ellie and Luke have just said their vows in front of his family. They of course object. Luke’s brother Jake has flow to Hawaii to help stop the wedding, Michelle. Michelle is thought to be pregnant with Luke’s baby, she is also the daughter of the owner of the Vegas Aces, the team that Luke plays for. Once Ellie and Luke exit the wedding and get to their hotel room it does spicy up a lot! But there are still secrets Luke is dancing around; Ellie seems to accept that she doesn’t know things but wants to know but doesn’t do anything to figure it out. Once the newly weds return to Vegas they try very hard to get their life on track, whoever Luke’s preseason is underway, and they are still dealing with Michelle and her antics.
