From the publisher, as I do not repeat the contents or story of books in reviews, I let them do it as they do it better than I do 😸. 100 Easy, tasty recipes for creating family-friendly vegetarian meals When it comes to eating vegetarian as a family, it can be challenging to please everyone’s taste buds and ensure proper nutrition. Cook up kid-friendly meals the whole family will love with this nourishing vegetarian cookbook. A fabulous book that will help you get veggies into everyone. They say that kids involved in meal prep will eat the food, so that is a bonus, as is the fact that you can add meat or fish products to most of the recipes (where applicable) for the carnivores in your life. The recipes are well written and understandable by cooks of all levels and the photos make the food very appealing to myself and other lovers of food out there. What I love about the book is that it uses whole ingredients instead of pre-prepared and packaged foods. I do draw the line at making my own cheese, and canning tomatoes but the more "ingredients" you use the better. My one nephew says that I never have any food in my house, only ingredients --- that is why I cook so much. I also refuse to eat or cook with "chick'n" and its 88 ingredients vs. 🐔chicken🐔 having one!) As always, I try to find a reason to not rate with stars as I simply adore emojis (outside of their incessant use by "🙏-ed Social Influencer Millennials/#BachelorNation survivors/Tik-Tok and YouTube Millionaires/snowflakes etc. " on Instagram and Twitter... Get a real job, people!) so let's give it 🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲 This book is also cross reviewed at http://www.facebook.com/janetsbookcorner and https://janetcousineau.wixsite.com/we...

I received a copy of this book through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. I normally prefer cook books with pictures of each recipe and wish this book had more pictures. There's a mix of healthy and "traditional" vegetarian food - tater tots, for example, are already to my knowledge vegetarian but there's a great recipe to make broccoli tots. The polenta fries also sound good! Some of the recipes are a little more time intensive but all of them seem pretty doable even for newer cooks. Overall this is a great find!

Absolutely perfect! This read is a homerun for busy parents that want to feed their families nourishing meals. Ms. Wood has not only included some amazing recipes, but also includes extremely helpful hints and tips for cooking and measuring ingredients. My daughters, Belladee and Erynn, love the open face pesto melts as do I! Get this cookbook, you will not be sorry!!!!
