One would think that over 40 Tanner, or Tanner related, novels, that Kane would be able to come up with decent dialogue for the characters. Instead he seems to be getting worse. Basic Tanner plot with a high body count. And worst of all, a damn cliff hanger ending.

Tanner, Romeo, & Henry are in NYC with Pullo, up against new gang threats, a sicario, a mole, and a family member of an old threat in the wings. Decent story, quick read, some of the normal awkward cheesy dialogue, and a couple of loose threads left at the end. It's book #40, along with the Tanner: Year 1-4 and 8 Young Guns stories, it's amazing that Remington Kane still bangs these fun books out. While taking a family trip to NYC, Tanner faces a variety of foes. Gangs and a variety of would-be Tanner killers line up for their turns to face the elite assassin. Alliances, plots, and betrayals abound to create a quick-paced welcomed addition to the series. I received an advanced digital copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Tanner, Romeo, Henry & Pullo As always this one didn't disappoint in all the different ways to trick a killer. Henry's learning to become Tanner Eight and it's a good thing he's doing what Cody's teaching him. It's saved his life once again. I love the surprises that Duke always has for Tanner. It's great reading more about Romeo and Joe Pullo. It's like the gangs all back together. I loved this one too and as usual I'll be anxiously waiting for Tanners next exploits and those that try to kill hi Tanner, Romeo, Henry & Pullo As always this one didn't disappoint in all the different ways to trick a killer. Thank you for another great book that I really had trouble leaving unread for very long and not able to put it down until I finished it!

Not as good as previous but Still a good read. Nothing really fleshed out. Maybe it’s me having grown up near MAFIA homes and seeing the damage caused along with the blatant hypocrisy of the Catholic Church because of the generous donations. I guess Salvation can be bought from the church if you have enough money.

The Hits keep coming!!!! Another great story by Mr. Kane. I really enjoy the progress on the Henry story line. The only bad thing about this book is that it only lasted me a day of reading and now I have to wait until the next chapter. But believe me, it will be well worth the wait. Thank You Mr. Kane

As always, I couldn't put it down. The characters are all different. The plots are well scripted and flow efffortlessly. As usually, I can't wait for next chapter in the Tanner series. It's Just Awful!!! The ONLY drawback to the Kane Tanner books is that they end - and that's just Awful. Now I have to go through withdrawal until the next in the series comes out. Just awful. Folks still messing with Pullo Folks still messing with Pullo thinking they'll be able to beat Tanner first so they can then go after New York. Folks still messing with Pullo Folks still messing with Pullo thinking they'll be able to beat Tanner first so they can then go after New York.

Stalking horse Aptly titled and amazing with all the plans to kill Tanner to no avail. Serial approach to the series works well and leaves you waiting for the next installment.
