He knew she was doing some shady shit and yet he decided to do nothing. He had women who were going crazy from the aphrodisiac laced water that wanted nothing more than to have sex with him and yet he continued to put them off. This worked in the first book because it was all new. It had been a few months though in this book and he was already having sex with 3 women all the time. But he felt like a lecher when another one wanted to join his bed. Didn't he realize he was making the other women feel like shit? When a woman gets upset, they can do some crazy things. He also had to keep apologizing to every single woman, because he was always doing something wrong. Be too sweet, not being sweet enough, being overprotective, wanting time alone, not giving them time alone. This was also getting really annoying. I wish there was more of the power exploration because that was very interesting. I think the author needed to find a middle ground. Jay would only sleep with people that were on his team that he really cared for or loved. The other guys would sleep with anyone, but didn't really care about the women they slept with. Jay could have loved some women and just had fun with other women. It didn't have to be all or nothing. In the first book I could understand where Jay was coming from, but he kept saying he needed to get stronger to survive this new world. Yet, he completely ignored one of the realities of the world that he was 1 of only as few men and that part of the world, so the norms of earth society didn't matter anymore. It took him the whole book to come to that realization and I still bet it is going to be an issue in the next book. (hide spoiler)] Overall it was still a pretty good book.

I really like it overall, but does mc have slavery fetish? Jasmine is brainwashing and controlling everyone and mc knows this. I mean they have talks about the issue but somehow he is fine with everyone being controlled, even people in his own group. It's just super frustrating, freaking do something! Even if Jasmine has good intentions, act of using her skill on allies is already totally unforgivable and in sense even worse than taking slaves. I mean she's on mental control mode 24/7. Mc is basically like "Yeah... My friends and people around me are being enslaved and mindraped, but I guess I'll see where this goes. Oh, and we have person who can amplify abilities around too but lets just let her hang around with Jasmine" Even if he doesn't care about his team or the random girls, at least give him an self preservation or fear. I mean Jasmine's skill is much more scary than actually dying. I'm sorry but this is totally ridiculous, to me it just seems like he is being retarded and utterly indifferent to others at the same time. I just want to scream and bang my head to the wall because he is totally aware of all this and even using his Iron Will to resists it but it just doesn't seem to phase him that Jasmine is actively controlling people, even himself. It's just so far from anything actual person act like so it totally takes me away from the story. Even his teammates basically shrug all this off. Are these characters not humans? Are these characters some type of hivemind that are born to obey one leader and that why they don't care? I'm clearly mission something here.

I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed this book, albeit slightly less than the first, but so goes many a series. Personally, I don't care too much for the daily life of a harem protagonist. So when it's just the MC describing his routine (that of course involves having sex a half dozen times and giving solo time to various girls), I found myself skimming. I skimmed no more than 10-15% of the book though, with much of that being in the first part of the story. I skimmed pretty much every sex scene in this book other than the scene with a new girl since it developed her character. All of the other scenes with other characters felt kinda like filler since they were pretty much known commodities by this point. Regardless, I am enjoying the overall ride this series is providing. Onto the next one!

Overall pretty good, but Jay needs to brush up on his Kipling (https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-f... ) and learn to listen to his women. His inability to get past his now outmoded ideals of monogamy becomes painful to read, but is obviously meant to be a major plot device (unnecessary, imo). There is enough other stuff going on to challenge them so this seems belaboured. If you liked the first book (which was a bit better but not radically) you should enjoy this; but we'll have to see where i Overall pretty good, but Jay needs to brush up on his Kipling (https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-f... ) and learn to listen to his women. Not bad, but not enough action this time. Somewhere along the line I discovered a corner of my reading library for there kinds of books. The first was awesome. I really enjoyed the mixture of romance with the dungeon exploration. The skill training is really unique and just as exciting to read about at the other more steamy scenes. This book vastly increased the number of girls the mc is romantically involved with but because of this the dungeon exploring was vastly reduced. Another surprising hit Much like the last book I was surprised at how well written this was. Great work! My only real complaint is sentence structure in the form of commas, lists, run ons, etc. The story continues as the hoomans (love that) gave threats both inside and out. I enjoy the brief glimpses we get from those running the experiment as it foreshadows what's coming. As for the experiment itself, Jay and his team are figuring out tons of ways to improve and also to bend the rules it seems. Good book This series is very enjoyable. The aliens have certainly Made an interesting trial If you're a male . The Litrpg aspects are awesome as are the myriad of different powers. The temporal manipulation is fun and as a new cork to the series. If anything the MC is too soft. And I'm afraid the author is gonna do the big no-no of recycling a defeated foe and bring them back more powerful or OP. However. I look forward to the next book in the series. Was hoping another book could pull it together. . . I was very disappointed. The main character is one of the worst examples of dense bulkhead protagonist I have ever read. It takes it to an absurd degree that breaks the story. Given the stakes, the number of conversations had with partners and the entire situation, it is unbelievable how he acts.

Getting better The series is getting more interesting. It is enjoayable in a way that is somewhat shallow but fun. There doesn't seem to be a lot of debth in the beginning and kind of like lost it seems to be made up as the series continues with only the precepts of time manipulation and aliens be the overreaching story. Awesome. This sequel took the series to a whole other level. This book tops the previous one by leaps and bounds. So much happens. The story and characters were intriguing and engaging. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading.

Wow! This book was even better than the first. Things have gotten even more intense for the group. I really enjoyed the depths to the characters. It really makes you feel one way or another about them which is always nice. I'm glad I started this series and I'm just hoping the next book comes out sooner than later. Wow! Interesting Series I just finished this book and it is a different take on the alien abduction, dungeon crawl, harem genres. The mash up seems unlikely but works surprisingly well. The MC and supporting characters are interesting as well as their interactions. Throw in new powers, raging hormones and a bevy of hot coeds you have a guys paradise. Enjoy!

Totally amazed I just can't believe this author has come with such a great history in such a little time, the book is long (just as I like) and can't beet the $5. But this plot is so well done that I just couldn't stop reading for any reason and is not even let me sleep. Well done David. Fast paced The second book in this series leads the MC and his cast further along in both progression of power and story plot. Relationships continue to develop and the stage set for additional characters to be added to the group. I finished this book as quickly as the first and book 3 has already been downloaded.

Fun read! Fun eeries, the meta with time travel is cool. All the random abilities are awesome. Not the most well written, but still worth the read and nowhere near the worst. Maybe not for you if you don't like harem, but when reading its easy to skip over most of it. Fun read! Fun eeries, the meta with time travel is cool. All the random abilities are awesome. Somewhat Confusing. Being an old man, a lot of this book is hard to understand. So much of it is computer talk, or science fiction talk and I have to read around it. Very good story progression. Second verse better than the first. A small bit of doom and gloom alleviated. Fantastic character and story progression. No one dimensional characters despite the staggering size of the cast. This author continues to impress. Highly recommended!
