"The Newtonian Prophecy", this book is one of the type which you cannot put it down without getting all the hidden things from the story. It is one of the great scientific thriller that I ever read in my life. I am not a person of sci-fi the reason because I don't understand those scientific words, so I don't pick such book more. The story of this book start with a public figure Victoria, where in her hotel room a terrorist was assassinated. From there the mystery begins. There the police department finds a set of symbols from the terrorist phone and voice record. So inorder to solve the symbols John Rymond from Newton Research Academy (NRA) was called for work. Every six hours a leader or a noble prize winners are being assassinated by the terrorist across the world. Another side the NRA working with the Newton's unpublished calculus where the Raymond was the best mathematician who has the capability to solve any kind of mathematical work. So including Rymond and the team was working to find the solution for the Newton's calculus which he left for the future generation. Is there any connection with Newton's unpublished work with the terrorist symbols? Will Newton's calculus will bring any solution to this terrorist attacks?

The setting as in mystery and crime is giving the hint of Agatha Christie to me, and believe me I'm honest with this statement. The story is intense and Intresting. It revolves in your mind all the time. A good read for sure.

A debut Novel of MBA alumnus from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, the book delves into the life of Sir Issac Newton and Mr. John Raymond, a renowned mathematician of Newtonian Research Academy, and his journey to decode symbols that will solve the crime happening around. But what is the puzzle? Who created it? Who has the answers? Who are the terrorists committing the crime? Read the book to find out all. If you love History, Physics, and Thrillers, This is a perfect read for your weekend. Don’t waste the opportunity and read it now. Writing Style One of the things that stood out to me the most was the amount of research done to write the novel. As you end the novel, the bibliography runs for approximately nine pages. That kind of dedication is not just visible in the bibliography but also in the care taken in the minor intricacies of the plot. The author’s habit of writing about every scene in great detail is also something that readers and want to be writers must observe. He doesn’t end up making you feel dumb if you don’t know something [Trust me! There is going to be a lot] rather he explains everything in great detail making sure that the common reader understands what he is trying to say. This is a must quality for someone who wants to make it big as a writer. Aditya Ram doesn’t leave you hanging in the middle, he takes your hand and gently guides you through the rough and rocky portions of the rollercoaster and then leaves you to smoothly enjoy the flow with which his story gushes out. Language The language used in the book deserves special mention because usually the kind of language that is seen in self published books or in the books by indian authors, even those who have gone commercial for that matter, is not very good. Aditya Ram’s The Newtonian Prophecy stands out specifically in this matter. The language is simple without being cheap or unpolished. But it is not too simple that the reader feels it loose or lazy. Characterisation Another major win of the book lies in its characterization. The amount of breathing space the author has given to his characters given his young age and experience in the writing field seems outstanding. The characters of The Newtonian Prophecy don’t bleed all over each other nor do they suffocate or fight for space. They are just perfect. Making their own space and impression in the mind of the reader. It seems that the writer likes to take it slow. Take his time in building the characters and leave scope for character development. Timelines The switch between the characters is amazing. The way Aditya Ram keeps giving you details but not enough for you to figure out what is going on and tying them so beautifully, in the end, is the utmost joy one can get out of reading. Not to forget the fact that he keeps switching between past and present. You read the book but yet you are left amazed by how the writer has managed to run two timelines simultaneously. It is a matter of joy and jealousy as the reader realizes the sheer brilliance of the writer’s hold on the fluency of the story. Dabbling between two timelines is a very tricky affair and not all writers get it right. The fact that Aditya Ram did that makes one want to keep their eyes and ears open for the next books to come from the Author. Another thing that must not go unspoken is the choice of the subject. The subject and the genre chosen for the novel is unique especially in the context of Indian reading and Publishing scenario. Taking the risk to write on such a subject is indeed compliment worthy. Challenges The Newtonian Prophecy is one of the very few novels that took me almost a month to read. I had finished War and Peace sooner but here’s the catch. Aditya Ram is good. In fact, he is so good that even someone like me who hates maths and sciences and has an artistic bent of mind could not leave the book in between even though I was not held at any gunpoint to finish the book. Once you start, you genuinely want to finish the book. You just cannot put it down even if it defies all the usual categories of genres that you read. It is lengthy and heavy but if you are even slightly bent towards the subject, it will be unputdownable and you might end up finishing it in two to three sittings. The challenge for Ram is to A] create a kind of niche audience for the type of subjects he wishes to write on and B] to include readers like me who pretty much read everything but do not read thrillers into his reading Audience. But, given the brilliance shown by the writer in his first published work, I am very sure, He will find a way.

"One never truly understands the potential of an invention at the time of inventing it," started Issac. "Only when the invention actually comes into existence is when you truly discover the potential and what it can actually do." Aditya Ram, The Newtonian Prophecy. And the list of quotes can go on and on. One can learn so much from this book. The Newtonian Prophecy is a tribute to Newton AND the debut book of Author Aditya Ram. John Raymond, a renowned mathematician at the Newtonian Research Academy (NRA), is summoned to solve a symbolic code underlying a large terrorist plot to assassinate a set of Nobel Laureates. John started with helping the cops to identify the murderer but soon realises that all the Nobel Laureates are on a verge of been killed. Why Nobel Laureates? What was the history behind the precious prize? Who is killing them? Who are the terrorists committing the crime? This book is so well researched and very well-plotted. Aditya Ram has the power to make the readers imagine all the beautiful scenes and he has good control over the stories because he keeps weaving back and forth between each of the plots and subplots. Another aspect which I loved was the detailing. Every scene is elaborated very thoughtfully. The author exactly knows what to reveal when. There are parts wherein we are taken back to the 17th Century and interact with Newton and the people around him. Newton theories are complex. But the author made sure that common readers also understand the scenes ( Oh yes, there is a lot inside the book and definitely a treat for people from Science background or Newton Fans). The language of the book is neither too simple nor too complicated. I have come across many indie authors attempting murder mystery or thriller and having too complex language and then lose their essence. This was just the right amount. Such precision in the debut book itself is amazing. The blend of fiction and interpretation of the things that exists is remarkable. You understand how serious the author is regarding his book and doesn't want to leave a stone unturned when it comes to presenting this amazing plot. Summing up the entire review - The book is a blend of history, science, thriller, mystery and crime. It is very well researched. New subject, new concept and worth it. Definitely 5 on 5 stars.

"The Newtonian Prophecy" by author Aditya Ram is an amazing creation indeed. The plot of this book is completely different and I haven't read anything similar before. The author himself has spent years of research in exploring his inspiration, Sir Isaac Newton, to build this well-researched fictional thriller and has represented "The Newtonian Prophecy" with his experience. So, without any doubt, this story had my complete attention and interest. Mr. John Raymond is the protagonist and a renowned mathematician of NRA aka NEWTONIAN RESEARCH ACADEMY. He was invoked to solve a secret or mysterious symbolic code that was dormant into a large terrorist plot. Soon, he finds himself trapped in a game that was unexpected and inevitable. The author's writing style has the real class to appreciate. The words he has used, the structure of sentences, the perfect storylines everything is really admirable. It's my first read of this author still I have found it very comfortable while reading. The story is long and sometimes I felt it can be summarized. Otherwise from the beginning till the last stop, I have enjoyed this. I have found a paragraph that I have noted down already, is very close to my heart. “The world is witness to what happens when someone messes with the Creation of God. Today, we will reclaim what rightfully belongs to God. Today, we will sacrifice ninety-nine sinners in the name of God. Today, the legacy of these Merchants of Death will be destroyed by their own invention. The time of these sinners is like the clock’s hands, it begins and ends together.” Character development and introduction were smooth. From main to sub-characters, everybody has importance and equal depth in this story. And that impressed me. It's highly recommended for Thriller nerd. One thing I must say, the author has incredible knowledge and also his dedication, research everything is clearly visible through this story. It was a great read of this month and of course ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 read. Beginners can avoid this book because this book needs patience and complete attention.

▶A fiction well researched spun around the life of Sir Issac Newton. #INSIGHT: 'The Newtonian Prophecy' is a novel where a series of murders happen on one side while on the other Newtonian Research Academy and it's members are trying to solve an equation from Newton's diary. The book is about how the two plots are interconnected. Many secrets get revealed in the journey throughout. #REVIEW: Not being from a science background, I read this book as fiction and I was amazed by the content. The novel is an extremely long read where you get everything, murder trail, mystery, suspense and even science and history. The characters are well explored, especially John Raymond and Symonds. I loved how the story moved throughout but it would have been a lot better if frequent change of time frames were avoided. Being his debut novel, the author has worked hard on the content and that shows. All the best to the Author for his future works. #STRENGTH: The language of the book was easy to understand. The book was well researched. The author surely knows how to use real life characters and build a fiction out of that. The title of the book was very catchy. The bibliography given at the end of the book will really be helpful for the science lovers. Placement of the content was done meticulously. #WEAKNESS: To start with, the book is a very long read. Reading approx 500 pages was a task knowing the fact that the plot could have been shortened. The descriptions of scientific terms and calculations of calculus made the book very monotonous as it was out of the purview of people who are not from science background. Cover page too could have been better. I found a few typos in the book as well. #TARGET READERS: People who have great inclination towards science and scientists, history and at the same time conspiracy and suspense. This book is for you. #AGE GROUP: Above 16 years of age #GENRE: Fiction- Conspiracy Thriller #RATING: 3.6/5

It includes a lot of suspense and thrill elements and they unfold at the right time leaving the reader enthralled. There were a few places where the conversations and plot description were so lengthy that it gilded the lily. It took my focus away from the story, particularly in the last 20% of the book. Despite that, this book is highly recommendable. All being well, we might be having a budding Dan Brown. For more such reviews, visit https://penitratherkeyit.com/category...

There are some books that you wouldn’t mind skipping multiple pages for the sake of finishing it and there are some that you can’t, even if you tried. All this, while simultaneously learning about history and Newton with a sense of awe. This is what strikes me the most about this book; it is not only about what historical/scientific information was revealed to the reader but also how beautifully it was meshed with the plot in a way that everything was relevant. Whether it is the simple writing style or smooth transition between time lines, this first time author has nailed this conspiracy fiction which manages to create a slight suspicion of history and events we take for granted. This one is a must read.

Just finished reading the book and I must say it is magnificent writing! Lovely suspense and sub plots and a well researched piece. It was a gripping story and the way plots are built up is truly remarkable. All in all a valiant attempt - I can only imagine how awesome the next one is going to be! I think Aditya has a calling here. A talent he must nurture! :)
