I am so sick of fake miracles I almost like this but it started off great and seem to be going on a good trajectory until the hunting trip with his friend Sam. As Paul and Sam were around the fire somehow a bottle of moonshine breaks and Paul gets sorts of glass in his face and eyes along with moonshine. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but I’m going to I’m going to tell you Paul goes blind of course and then a few days after he’s home and all it’s up for him to get over being blind was for Louise to tell him she wanted her husband back, and the ranch hands needed him and then he could still do everything he could do before. Even though he probably could not. Then one day they give a big feast for the ranch and to thank them for being there when he went blind and miraculously all of a sudden he could see AN with no symptoms and no talk of babies her becoming his real bright or anything she’s pregnant. It seems like Faith Johnson just found it in lately. She’s written some really good books, but lately I’ve been let down by her. It really makes me sad that this is what she thinks of the readers.
