The main story is quite quaint and almost a comedy of errors. But Bertie Wooster it is not, although you can glimpse some characteristics there. The other stories are equally bland (& weird)! Gussie is in one of them, as is Jeeves, but gives one just a taster of what one loves about those characters. I listened to this as an audiobook (free), I doubt that I would have paid hard cash for it, but it’s great to have in my Wodehouse collection, even though it would be easily overlooked.
