I was not a fan of this book. I thought it was going to be something totally different based on the title.

Etiquette refresher Thanks to Goodreads and the publisher for the chance to touch up on my manners! This book goes by pretty quickly and talks about basic etiquette in areas like clothing, work, and travel. I had trouble identifying the audience as at specific times the author addresses teens while at least one chart mentioned 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Additionally, the title "boss vibes" had led me to think this would be specifically targeted to young adults entering the workplace, but the topics were actually pretty broad. Ultimately I don't think there was anything I didn't already know, but it's always good to have a reminder and this was a easy read with a "your blunt best friend telling you when you screw up" kind of tone.

I received this book through a goodreads giveaway. It shouldn’t exist. While it brands itself as being modern etiquette not covered elsewhere, it’s incredibly derivative of previous etiquette standards and doesn’t address a number of very modern ideas(racism, ableism, sexism, gender, consent) which I think are more relevant to considering as a modern person in society. It does occasionally allude to these topics, but in a very antiquated way. I won’t rant about this forever, but even the chapter I received this book through a goodreads giveaway. It shouldn’t exist. Simple MUCH NEEDED book for today’s lack of manners. If people aren’t taught (and most are not) how to dress for that first impression (sorry, no cutoffs to a job interview), how to eat politely (my peeve), how to listen (I’m working on this personally) and more. I won this in Giveaways. A great book for young adults entering a profession, oldsters grappling with making friends, teens trying to influence the world...just everyone.

[I received a Kindle copy via Goodreads giveaway!] This was a fun little guide of manners and etiquette for work, personal, travel.. and more! Friendly reminders for being appropriate and well-managed in the public eye. I'm sure we are all guilty of making mistakes with some of these..! :P What with working from home and whatnot during COVID, I'm sure I have made a few faux paus...! Thankfully those Teams calls are sans-video, haha! [I received a Kindle copy via Goodreads giveaway!] This was a fun little guide of manners and etiquette for work, personal, travel.. and more! A great read for freshening up on basic manners and etiquette. Although the tips given seemed like common sense, I can see how they may be helpful for people just starting out in a career or working their way up the corporate ladder. I received a digital copy of this as part of a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review.

The title was misleading and I felt the information on etiquette was very basic and already well known to most. I felt basic and blankly written. Like a to do list. It may be helpful to a much younger group but still???

Engaging and easy to following book on modern etiquette will walk you through the basics of the rules that we sometimes forget and sometimes nobody taught us. I liked the modern approach and simple rules to follow that our together like a puzzle set go into a nice and comfortable picture.

I received this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. It wasn't what I had anticipated. The advice was much more basic and hopefully things people already know to do or not do. I was hoping for deeper knowledge specifically for the business world. I received this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. It wasn't what I had anticipated. Was not what I expected The title to the book was misleading in my opinion. This is just an etiquette book, which most of should be common sense (I hope). This book might help somebody, it just wasnt the book for me.

Informative and medium paced. I really wasn’t feeling this book at first but then I found it to be informative. I think I had such a hard time getting into this book initially because I was expecting something different based on the title. I’m glad I pushed through because it really did have some nuggets of knowledge. Overall 3/5.
