This boxset contains books 7-9 of the Magic & Mystery series, Shifters and Sabotage; Crystals and Criminals; and Witches and Witnesses. The books all take place in the small community of Moon Grove. The main character is Zoe Clarke, a reporter and Head Witch, who has discovered she has a few magical powers of her own. She has been key to solving a lot of paranormal murders in the town, but has made some enemies along the way. The first book in the set has Zoe trying to relax and focus on her relationship with Golden Retriever shifter and new live-in lover Beau. But someone takes umbrage with her new relationship and starts sending anonymous letters to Beau with jealousy on their mind. When Beau gets stuck in his Golden Retriever form, she believes it is linked to the letter and she set off to figure out who has done it. It could be someone from his secretive shifter pack, or a jealous co-worker, but when another shifter ends up stuck in their animal form, the case becomes more complex. The second book in the set has a travelling psychic set up shop in Moon Grove and the seer predicts the death of a prominent person in the community. Everyone in town starts to get very superstitious and the parade of clients to this psychic is getting longer by the minute. Zoe investigates her background and finds a shadowy past and something to hide. More of the psychic’s clients meet similarly unfortunate ends, after her crystal ball goes missing. Is this linked to the murders and how will Zoe manage to identify the culprit before they strike again? Figuring out what the seer has to hide, may very well uncover the criminal behind it all and their reasons for murder. Zoe will need to be careful that she doesn’t end up as one of the next victims. The third book in the set sees Zoe trying to prove her friend and council partner, Head Warlock Heath Highmore is innocent of the murder he is accused of. She is weeks away from giving birth to her twins, but will do anything to help. There have been lots of mysterious murders and magical mysteries since Zoe took up her new position as Head Witch, but she knows he didn’t commit anything so nefarious. Shortly after, a prominent witness turns up dead and the community believe he is responsible for this death, doing it to silence his opponents. He comes from a power hungry family and has lots of political and other enemies over the years. Zoe believes someone has framed him and left all the blame on him, to hide who is really behind the murders. After yet another witness is killed, Zoe has to work even harder to try and prove Heath is innocent, before he is judged guilty or killed himself. A great set of books, that are easy to read, whether you have read any of the rest of the books in the series or not. A town with magical and paranormal beings, with lots of mysteries and even murders for Zoe to solve. You have paranormals, shifters, witches and warlocks, and magic coming out of the very air they breathe in Moon Grove. A fairly new witch who has suddenly come into her powers, with a reporter background, is a great character to solve murders and mysteries of a magical nature in this small town. She is determined and dogged, but with a great loyalty to her friends and those she loves. Always in the thick of it and has made a few enemies along the way to her sudden position as Head Witch at such as young age and so suddenly, but also a firm group of supporters. A great series to get your teeth into, no matter which book you start at, but the first is always the best way to start. I look forward to reading more books in this series soon. I liked the fact you could read them in boxsets, as there are ten books so far and none are overly long, so much more concentrated and can cover three in one go. I received an ARC copy of this boxset from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the books included in the boxset above.

Excellent Box Set of Wonderful Series I have read this series since the beginning, I think, and this author has certainly created a complex and quirky magical world with delightful characters, many of whom I've seen grow and change over the course of the series. I love that. Somehow, I missed book 9, so how delightful to have three books together, including one that I missed! Here are my reviews of book 7 and book 8, included in this collection. I love that. Somehow, I missed book 9, so how delightful to have three books together, including one that I missed! Here are my reviews of book 7 and book 8, included in this collection. Shifters & Sabotage Review: This is such a delightful series! I believe I have read most of them. By now at book 7, slipping back into the world is like catching up with old friends—if old friends were witches and shifters! I love the relationship between Zoe and Beau. Loved the banter between them before things went south. This mystery had some unusual elements, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While I don't read many shifter books, I loved that this book’s core mystery centered on a shifter who was cursed to stay in his animal form. I don't think I've ever read that in another shifter book. So it's fun to run across an unusual concept. While I don't mind murder mystery cozies at all, it is fun to mix it up every now and then and have a cozy that doesn't have a dead body (or three) at the center of it. Just another great installment in this fun paranormal cozy mystery series. Crystals & Criminals Review: Mercy, there was a lot going on in this cozy mystery! The book starts with a meeting at Zoe’s, the Head Witch’s, house. During this meeting, she learns from a friend about Madame Astra and her fortune-telling app. The next day, Zoe meets her at a Chamber of Commerce meeting and has a rather disturbing reading. No sooner is Zoe back in her office than she finds out about mysterious goings-on. Can she figure out behind it? And how exactly does the app work? Can it really be as Madame Astra says? That seems impossible. Madame Astra's crystal ball goes missing, too. Zoe will learn more about her magic as well. A lot happens in this story with both the familiar characters as well as new ones. I really enjoy the little touches of humor that the author is able to weave in, especially in dialogue. The characters in the book have their own little unique sayings that reflect their paranormal community, turns of phrases on what we normally would think the words should be. I love wordplay like that. This is the 8th book of the series, but it could be read as a stand-alone without causing much confusion. Although, of course, you would probably appreciate the story more knowing the full background. I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review. This author is great I’m not always happy to read mysteries without a bit of chemistry and not all authors get the balance right Lily does I’ve read this series from book one (and you really should to get the full experience) and I can honestly say it’s gotten better but it is starting to get towards the end of what should be the series I think it’ll soon reach its natural ending to go beyond would be a mistake I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Zoe wins the day again It's difficult to review three books in one so I'm only going to say...You have to read them all and don't stop!!! These are some of the most difficult books where I've had a real problem putting them down. It seems likes there is never a dull moment in this girl's life and you just have to see what's next! Then, just when I think I'm finished with this series, I see that LILY WEBB has added another book so I'm off to read that one! Good, better, best! Book 7 ooh this is good! Book 8 ooh this is even better! Book 9 ooh this is the best! Like with all the books by Webb so far, I was immediately pulled into the stories and they never let go! Afterwards, I emerged again into the real world, but these books provide such great escapes! The mysteries were excellent, as are the characters and their development over the series. Totally recommend!

A fantastic bookset that will keep the reader occupied for days! I absolutely loved this bookset! Zoe is a fantastic investigator that digs her heels in and finds answers without beating around the bush! As her own life moves forward, the adventures never stop or even slow down! Zoe handles every problem and obstacle that she encounters. She has grown into her position and developed as a character. I enjoyed reading these three novels again as a collection, and especially liked her relationship with Beau. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
