The Commander in Briefs series is one of my favorite series of all time! Every story is captivating and unique, and the characters feel like real people to me. I don't know what I'm going to do when this series is over, but I know my heart will never be the same. The Commander in Briefs series is one of my favorite series of all time! Commander: Oh this book was everything I was NOT expecting it would be and more! I absolutely devoured this steamy and witty novel by this new author....which I would have never known this was her debut novel. I loved the banter - the bromances - the flirting - the steamy scenes - the baseball - the military men - the sassy heroine...oh I could go on and on. Anniston is not your average girl. I absolutely devoured this steamy and witty novel by this new author....which I would have never known this was her debut novel. I loved the banter - the bromances - the flirting - the steamy scenes - the baseball - the military men - the sassy heroine...oh I could go on and on. Anniston is not your average girl. Like me, she loves baseball, the guys, and demands control of every situation. I knew this girl was going to be trouble and run the show from the first Chapter. She had Theo won over from their teenage years, and I loved how that relationship changed and grew over the years. Gah - I loved their friendship, banter, and fierce loyalty to the other one. Theo Von Bremen is quite the a-hole hero. He is cocky, built, and an All-Star baseball player (my dream guy!) Somehow this guy lands the heart of Anniston, and although he plays the role of the confident, smirking "I get everything I want" sexy hero - she somehow has molded this strong man into putty in her hands. He will do anything and everything for her. They. just. can't. get. enough. of. each. other. I wasn't sure what was going to happen when Major Cade entered the story. He was broken, mysterious, handsome, and fit a little too easily into Anniston's life. However, as their story goes on, you begin to understand and love the role each of them play in the other's lives. I honestly felt like these characters were not the same people at the end of the book as they were at the beginning - and all for the better. I love a book that can make me swoon, laugh and cry all in one - and this one checked all the boxes several times over. Well done K. Marie! I'm officially a fan and I can't wait for the next book in this series! Pitcher: Gah this book! I didn't think I could possibly love Anniston McAllister & Theo Von Bremen any more than I already did, but K Marie delivered an outstanding prelude novella to her debut novel Commander in Briefs. This novella covers just enough of the back-story of Theo & Anniston's friendship from their early teenage years through college. It is angsty, witty, funny and emotional at times. I found myself laughing at Theo's A**hole ways, and grinning like a school girl batting my eyelashes at him at the same time. This guy can somehow charm the pants right off of me without even trying. And Anniston...oh this girl has had a rough start at life. Yet we see the fight in her - her feisty and sassy personality, and her strength shine through. I am already a fan of these two characters, but this novella had me wanting MORE of them. More angst. More passion. More push and pull. And More of their friendship. These two could not have been written more perfectly, and I am ready to read them again and again. Well done once again K Marie!!! Gorgeous: I have been awaiting this book since I finished Commander in Briefs a while back. I fell in love with these characters, and Cade's story was so powerful in CiB that I just knew his book would be even more incredible. And I was right. Not only did I read and finish this book within 24 hours, but I now have the Biggest Book Hangover Ever. GAH!!! This book is nothing and everything you expect from reading the blurb and knowing a bit of Cade's backstory. (If you haven't read CiB, you will still love this book - but you will appreciate the story and characters more if you have read it.) It is funny, flirty, steamy, and sexy... it has allllll the alpha male marines, Theo the hottest asshole ever, Addison the fierce and feisty Commander, and then sweet and beautiful Brecklyn. Brecklyn is the sister of a marine on Cade's team who was killed in the line of duty. I was drawn to her story and her place with Cade from the Prologue. She is loyal, determined and compassionate. The letters that play-out throughout the book from her brother to her are so real - you can almost hear him talking to her and acting like any typical 20 year old guy would. He is protective, loving, and hilarious. But above all, he is crazy loyal to his team and holds his Major (Cade) up on a pedestal. It is his devotion to Cade in which Brecklyn feels compelled to find the man who her brother held in such high regard, and help him since learning he has become homeless since returning from his tour of duty. Although Cade has recovered tremendously from being homeless and is living with Anniston and the other Marines, he still has a long way to go personally and with his PTSD. When he first meets Brecklyn, he is immediately drawn to her, but keeps his distance so he will not be tempted by her. His longing for her has built up over such a period of time that all the guys know what is really going on behind his feelings and attraction, and they don't let him off the hook so easily. These guys - gah - I want to live with them. I seriously want to be Anniston or Brecklyn and experience living with these "brothers." They flirt with any female, rib each other constantly, challenge one another, but overall they have each other's backs - they have become brothers and family bonding over their dark and tragic pasts. Throw Anniston & Theo into the mix and HOLY HOTNESS!!! I could not get enough of Theo and his cocky asshole ways and comments! You will laugh until you cry, and then he will literally make you cry and laugh at the same time. His relationship with Cade has evolved so much over their time knowing one another, and it becomes a Bromance like no other I have read. One of my favorite parts of this book is their crazy friendship. As much as you laugh with this book, you will swoon, sigh, and shed tears. K. Marie did an incredible job of portraying the powerful emotions and the heavy aftermath of PTSD and military flashbacks, and how they affect those closest to them. The characters in this book will surprise you at every turn of the page as they take care of one another, and put their hearts and lives out for all to see. You can feel the passion between Brecklyn & Cade, as well as Anniston & Theo; and also the compassion that they all have for one another. It is raw. It is real. And it is brilliant and sexy all at the same time. This book is definitely a favorite of mine for 2018, and I can't wait to read it again and again. Well done once again K. Marie!!! Oo-rah! Drifter: What I love about K Marie's books is this amazing "family" that she has created in this series. If you have not read Commander in Briefs or Gorgeous before Drifter - that is ok! But, I HIGHLY recommend them. This group of men and women have come together under the influence of Anniston McAlister. She has more compassion and generosity than any other heroine I have read, and she has created a family of misfits - ex-Marines who were lost after their tours and had no family and only nightmares to live with. These men look out for each other, they are fiercely loyal and protective, and love to give one another a hard time. You will laugh as much as you cry reading their stories - and Drifter is no different. Once I read Commander in Briefs by Kristy Marie, I could not wait for Connor Hayes' book. He is an ex-Marine who is confident, but not arrogant; a playful flirt, and a playboy; he seems like the sweet boy next door with nice manners, but is really a dirty-talking, alpha-male with a filthy mind. Not to mention he is Handsome, and has a body built like a machine. Yah...I was taken by him. I always knew there was much more to Hayes' story - something dark and deep - that would make me fall for him even harder, and I was right. Connor Hayes can charm the pants off of any woman - old or young, but he was in for a challenge with Bianca Morgan. I F******G LOVE BIANCA!! She is a badass. She may be a criminal, but once you learn the history behind her actions, it is easy to forgive and accept her. What I love the most about this story is her transformation. She is one of the toughest heroines I have read. Her guard is so high up with men, and she has been hurt badly by those who she let closest to her, I did not think that anyone could crack her armor. But as her story unfolds with Hayes, it is mesmerizing and captivating how she lets her walls down as she realizes her own worth. I hated her at times - I cried for her - I cheered her on - and I cried for her again. She is so beautiful and broken, and the role that Hayes played in her rising from the ashes was OH SO SWOONWORTHY. Bianca & Hayes together is like a science experiment...you know there is chemistry, and you know there will be a big boom at some point, but there are so many trials and challenges getting there. I loved Hayes' attitude and determination not to let this girl go! He was all in even from the moment she betrayed him. And the support and loyalty of his family the entire way makes your heart melt for these characters! There was not a scene with Hayes in it that I was not smiling. He is cheesy but is just what Bianca needs to melt her exterior. They are fun, playful, have amazing banter and wit, and Hayes' mouth will make your panties wet, and his actions are so steamy that you will want your own Marine. SIGH. Like Bianca, Hayes finally lets his own walls down and reveals his dark past; and while he likes to cover up all of his deep emotions with humor, it is sooo breathtaking when he breaks down himself and lets Bianca in. I just wanted to hold him and hug him....ok, and maybe make-out with him some. It is hard to put K Marie's books into a specific trope category because they are a bit of everything... emotional, hilarious, enemies-to-lovers, and second chances; and that is why I love her. Drifter is in a class of its own. This story of the sassy and tough heroine realizing her self-worth while falling for the charming and humourous Marine is one of my favorite books, and these characters will stay with me for a long time. Well done once again K Marie! I cannot wait to see what is next from you!!! Interpreter: ***** 5 Oorah STARS! ***** This is Kristy Marie at her best! I absolutely devoured this book! It is everything we love about K Marie's writing...it's witty and sexy with all-consuming characters, including a broody ex-Marine hero and sassy Latina heroine. The emotional story of Tim & Milah will steal your heart, and the interwoven humor of our favorite Commander in Briefs characters will have you laughing hysterically in between your tears of joy and heartache for this couple. It is an absolute MUST READ!

I read these and reviewed the books separately. I put the books in order of the series even though Pitcher came out after the others. This was a new author to me, so it was a whole new experience. Watching her grow from the first book until the last has been one of my favorite things about being a reader. Commander, the first time I read it, was not my favorite but I definitely saw the potential. Now after reading the rest and going back and seeing the backstory of Theo and Ans my opinion has changed. These characters are life, and this series is worthy of all the praise that it gets. It truly is a one of a kind series and this author is one of my all-time favorites now. I cannot recommend it enough. Pitcher (0.5) I will be honest that when I first heard about this being a prequel to Anniston and Theo's story I was skeptical. For a couple of different reasons, the first being that I wanted new words from her, and secondly these were two characters that had their story told three books ago. However, I have changed my mind. This book was everything that I didn't know that I wanted. It was the backstory of what had made me fall in love with them in the first place. It filled in the history and the connection that had kept me from fully appreciating the first book, a book that while I loved I still had some issues with. These characters, especially Theo, had me wanting to punch them both in the junk. They were two alpha's trying to prove their dominance in the relationship. In this story, though I was able to see how they truly were the better half of each other. They pushed themselves to be better people. They fumbled a lot of the time but in the end, they were only doing the things they were doing because they were afraid of ruining their connection. In typical fashion, this author wove her magic and created a short story that was packed full of details that enhanced amazing characters and story that eventually paved the way for an amazing series of standalones. Well done. I would highly recommend this story and the entire series. Commander 4.4 stars This book was very different than I thought it was going to be. The author did an exceptional job creating characters that felt like family. I wanted to get to know all of their stories. For a while, I couldn't decide if I was #TeamTheo or #TeamCade. In the end, Theo won. That man was delicious. Gorgeous 4.6 stars What a delightful story. Cade is first seen in Commander in Briefs. For a while there I was team Cade until Theo won my heart. I am glad for that too because I wouldn't have wanted anyone else with him besides Breck. Breck truly was a warrior. I loved her tenacity, courage, and unwavering dedication to Cade. Cade sweet lord. This poor guy. The guilt that he feels truly made my heart ache. The author did an exceptional job portraying what life is like for so many soldiers coming back from war. I loved the idea of what this book is doing to help soldiers. I wish there was more of this compassion in the world today. This book had a lot of build-up between Cade and Breck which was nice to see. When the steam did happen though... sweet lord. HOT. One of the hottest scenes that I have read this year (and I have read almost 700 books so far so that says something) was when Cade was in the workout room with Breck. Sweet Holy titfire.... and there is a Mortal Combat reference at the end of this scene that made me spew out my tea when I read it. TOO funny. Also, can I just mention that this author is the queen of proposals? I didn't think she could outdo Ans and Theo's. I was wrong. Speaking of Theo. This guy. He says some of the funniest stuff that I have ever read. I hope that the other guys get their stories too. Great second book. It is a standalone but I would still read the first book. This author just keeps getting better and better. Drifter 4.5 stars So many things to say about this book. In her usual fashion, this author had me with the unique storylines that she is known for. In my years of reading a plethora of books, I can honestly say that this had one of the funniest and most unusual first chapters that I have ever read. From that moment on I had to find out more about these characters and how this situation would resolve itself. This is a standalone in this series but I would recommend reading the previous books because these characters all overlap in the books and because each of these characters is multifaceted and important. I have fallen in love with the camaraderie and loyalty that they all share. They are proof that it doesn't take blood to be family. Connor Hayes. This deliciously dimpled man could charm a nun out of her panties I swear. His slow and dedicated pursuit to make Bianca his was what all little girls want when they dream of a Prince Charming. Bianca didn't stand a chance when it came to him and his draw. This isn't a romance where there is a lot of scenes of steamy times. Yet, the anticipation and chemistry fuel the story. I cannot recommend this author enough for creating stories that get the audience so invested in the outcome of characters that feel like real-life friends and or family. Great start to 2019. Interpreter Holy Swoonfest With each additional book, I continue to be amazed by this author and her tenacity to giving each additional story that extra oomph. In every one, she meets the challenge and exceeds my expectations. I wondered how she would take Timaeus and Milah on the journey to finding love. I shouldn't have even wondered because this author just gave me a serious swoon fest. These two characters were incredible together. The author did an exceptional job writing about what it was like for Tim not only losing his hearing gradually but also the effects after it is completely gone. As a music lover myself, I cannot imagine a world without sound, and especially sounds that were important, such as laughter or the music that was engrained into someone like Tim's soul. I felt his anger, sadness, and just overwhelming despair. Milah helped with that. She helped him see that behind his anger that he was still amazing. His deafness did not define him in any way other than to make him a true warrior. Amazing, love story, amazing side characters that still make me laugh, and an important message that disabilities do not define us. Very good story. I recommend this entire series.

Pitcher - Incredible! I have fallen more in love with Theo and Anniston after reading Pitcher! For anyone that has read and loved Commander in Briefs, this novella is exactly what you need. Even knowing how this ends, Pitcher still had me holding my breath and pulling my hair. If you have never read Commander in Briefs, START HERE! It's the perfect place to start. I loved being able to peek into Theo Von Bremen and seeing more of what goes on in that head of his. Commander - It's few and far betwe Pitcher - Incredible! Commander - It's few and far between to have a book so wonderfully executed. From the first page until the last, the author has you captured. This story is unlike most others! Anniston is a beautiful crazy woman with a heart as big as her personality. She's an alpha female with no filter. Every man in her life falls at least a little bit in love with her. Theo is an alpha-ass that you grow to love - eventually. Every man hates him bc he has Anniston's heart and they all think he doesn't deserve her, even him. Then there is Cade. Scarred inside and out, he needs someone to give him a purpose again. When you read this book, you feel everything the author is writing. When it's ugly, it's ugly and not just skimmed over. You feel the pain, the fears, etc. When it's hot, we'll let's just say if you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen because this story is HOT! Gorgeous- This book deserves more than 5 stars. I loved this story and did not want it to end! If you've read Commander in Briefs, then you've met Cade (maybe fell in love with him) and was briefly introduced to Breck. From the first chapter, you KNOW this book is going to be good and that you are in for a hell of a ride. In Commander in Briefs, Theo wasn't good enough for Anniston, but that didn't stop him (hence him being the alpha ass). In Gorgeous, Cade doesn't think he is good enough for Breck, so he keeps pushing her away. Breck, bless her, believes she can help Cade with his demons but what happens when Cade seeks refuge from another woman? How much rejection can a person take take before enough its enough. This story is full of struggles. There is resistance, jealousy and a rawness like no other story I've read before. The push and pull dynamic between these two is so hot! Drifter- Drifter is an AMAZING story!!! To be honest, when I saw that Conor Hayes was getting his story next, I was disappointed. I wasn't ready for his story yet. He was the hot, flirty guy in the first two books and I wanted to savor him for just a bit longer. Guess what! Kristy Marie knocked his story out of the park and made his story one of my favorites. I will not doubt her again! First off, that prologue had to be hands down the best prologue I have EVER read! Simply genius!!! Then, there was the part where Hayes walks in on Theo and Cade in the bathroom. I laughed so hard! In Drifter, Bianca has stolen Conor's first love. Conor uses his resources to find Bianca. This begins a beautiful but emotional journey for both of these characters. Throughout the story, you realize both of these characters guard their feelings but in different ways. Bianca has this hard outer shell and has built walls so high, it's like a fortress. She's my spirit animal! Conor's defense mechanism is his charm. The reason readers love him turns out to be his way of coping with his demons. I highly recommend Drifter!!! You don't have to read the first two books in this series to enjoy it. It's a standalone in the series. Interpreter- I didn't think Kristy Marie could ever write a story that would make me fall in love with someone more than she made me fall in love with Major Cade Jameson. I think she just did with Interpreter and I'm not sure if I'm okay! I absolutely LOVE these Marines and their ladies and Theo and his Commander! This story is beautiful, touching, feisty, funny, emotional, steamy, and everything else in between! Tim and Milah are EVERYTHING! This story is EVERYTHING! Thank God Kristy Marie gave us Theo! He keeps it entertaining and makes us laugh right when we need it the most!

This series is one of my very favorites. All the books deal with a number of different feels. I can remember each book fondly unlike so many others I have read and forgotten. Her characters have sass and are incredibly complex. Perfectly imperfect! Below are my reviews for the whole series. If you get to read them, I know your will love them! All books are Five Star reads for me! Pitcher: Fantastic! 5 Stars! Wow! Just wow! 5 Stars! Wow! Just wow! First, I have to tell you this is the prequel to already published Commander In Briefs. Pitcher is not recommended to be read as a standalone. You can read it as a standalone if you want to, but you just can't appreciate its greatness without reading Commander In Briefs as well. That said, I hope you will give this author a chance because she is an amazing writer. Literally, I am always impatiently waiting for her next release. I immensely enjoyed reading all her books. Theo and Anniston..... Ok, so to say these two have a complicated relationship is the understatement of the year! My heart kept breaking for Anniston. She needed Theo in her life and she would take him anyway she could. And while Theo needed Anniston as well, he wasn't ready for the next step. I will say that Theo was selfish when it came to Anniston. He wouldn't let himself have her, so no-one else would either. Their relationship was very intense. But I already knew that after reading CIB. In fact, Theo is probably the most intense, possessive, and impatient hero I have ever read. I'm not going into details because I don't really need to. This book is the introduction to how Theo and Anniston came to be best friends, then more. Trust me when I say, for a short book, all the "feels" are there. I'm going to admit, that while reading this book, I bit off all my finger nails! I even have bandaids on a couple of fingers. Thanks for that, Kristy, lol. <3 This book is a must read for all you Theo and Anniston fans. I'd also like to mention that after finishing Pitcher, I started to re-read CIB. I need more Theo! Amazing Kristy!! Commander: Well this book was different from anything I have read recently, if at all. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book and most of them are good. I will do my best not to spoil anything in this book. There are three main characters in this book who are Theo, Anniston, and Cade. There are also many secondary characters as well. You would think with a book having so many characters there would be confusion. There was not. This author wrote each character beautifully, with their own traits and I never felt like it was too much. It was entertaining for sure. Theo and Anniston have been best friends since childhood but did not take their relationship further until the end of college. It was one night but it changed everything and not necessarily the way you may be thinking. I too had a lot preconceived ideas when diving into this book. I was mostly and pleasantly wrong, lol. I admit that it took me a few days to get through this book because there was so much going on. I often had to put my Kindle down just to reflect. My emotions were all over the place. I was often frustrated, disappointed, angry, concerned and even sad. But for all of those negative emotions there was a lot that made me smile. A lot! I laughed a lot as well. While there are three main characters this is not a love triangle nor a menagé. I admit after reading the blurb that I was worried that it would be a love triangle. I am not a fan of love triangles and I will avoid reading them. After a bit of research I found out that this book would be safe for me to read. Commander In Briefs is not strictly a romance. While love is the main focus, there are so many other aspects we see. Theo and Aniston's love for each other was beyond complicated. Add Cade to the mix and the complications get even more angsty. This book also has many secondary characters as I mentioned earlier. I would actually say this book has multi-tropes. There is romance, there is also suspense, second chances, best friends to lovers, post military, and I must add there are several triggers. So I liked Aniston's character for the most part. She was definitely not a pushover. I found her intelligent, caring, considerate, very loyal and passionate about helping people. That said, I wasn't her biggest fan through a lot of the book. As a matter fact I hadn’t decided I liked her until the second half. Unfortunately I can’t explain why without giving anything away. As for Theo he was very possessive, protective, and an over-the-top alpha. SO OVER THE TOP! His love for Aniston was beyond intense. It was hard to tell whether he was obsessed or in love; some of the things he did we’re just crazy! But I can definitely tell you by the last pages of this book I absolutely believe he loved her. This author did a great job of convincing me of that. Theo is definitely a character I won't forget anytime soon. As for Cade, his character was also hard to read. He had a lot of post-war issues that broke my heart. He was a really good guy and I was rooting for him to heal and be happy. While he and Aniston had a very special and intimate relationship, it was not sexual. Again, I cannot say more without giving away the story. As I said earlier there is a lot going on in the story; I am impressed how the author gave us a complete story with so many characters. All I can say is you will have to read this for yourself to know what I mean. I absolutely loved the ending of this book! One of the best happily ever after's I've ever read! I believe that Cade will be having his own story soon enough and I most definitely will be reading that. That said, if you’re looking for an intriguing, intense and angsty romance featuring many characters and a few different storylines you will absolutely love this book! Gorgeous: 5 Stars..... Of all the new releases I've read this year, Gorgeous by Kristy Marie was my most anticipated. If you've read book one in this series, then you already know why I was impatient for Cade's story. This book is perfectly written with a steady flow. I experienced all the feels. While I would not call this book romantic comedy, there were many, many moments during my reading where I laughed out loud. When I wasn't laughing, I was smiling. You can't help but love each and every character. I don't know how I am going to survive waiting for Hayes's book. Cade is a former marine suffering with the trauma of PTSD and guilt. His guilt was so consuming, it nearly killed him until he was saved by Anniston (Commander In Briefs, Anniston and Theo's book). While he very slowly began to heal, you knew it would not be quick; he had a long way to go. Cade believes he deserves nothing in life that could bring him joy. It is only when Breck comes into his life that his walls start to come down. She would be his savior; he would be her family. Truly, the relationship that slowly grew between Cade and Break was beautiful to watch. I was so engrossed in this book, this author did such an amazing job of keeping me engaged. I was right there with Cade and Breck. Did Cade and Breck have an easy time? No! There is angst, there are secrets and there is true heartbreak. I won't go into any details, you will have to read this amazing book for yourself. But I promise you an amazingly happy ending. If you want to make this book an even better reading experience, I recommend to read book one, Commander In Briefs as well. I promise you won't be sorry. I'll say it again, I absolutely can't wait to read the next book in this series! Drifter: This is one of my favorite books, ever! Thank you Kristy for giving us the perfection that is Connor Hayes! When I met all these amazing veterans in the first book, Commander In Briefs, I couldn't wait to read each of their stories. Drifter is book three and I can honestly say my favorite so far. I say so far because each book is better than the last. Over a year ago, a book friend (That's you Jessica) ask me to read for this author. Her name is Kristy Marie and she was new. Well after reading Commander In Briefs, I would have never guessed she was a new author. Her writing was on point, descriptive and every page was engaging. Her characters were all alphas in need of some emotional healing. Their stories are heart breaking. But they get a lot of support from secondary characters. That said, this book, as well as the others, have all the feels. But don't worry because there is humor too. A lot in fact, which is another aspect of this author's writing that I loved. Connor Hayes is amazing. He is sexy, cocky and adorable. In addition, Connor is protective, loyal and dealing with his own emotional demons. Bianca was a perfect match for Connor. From the first pages, I liked her despite what she was planning to do. Bianca and Conner's relationship grew slowly. While Conner knew Bianca had some dark issues she herself had to deal with, he believed her to be a kindred spirit and he wanted to know everything about her. Connor was patient and kind and a gentleman. He was determined to earn her trust. Gosh I love him so much! He is my favorite hero from this series so far. But alas, there are still several more vets to get their healing. There is some suspense, angst, and sad moments. But as I mentioned, there is humor to balance it all out. Kristy Marie has quickly moved to the top ten of my favorite authors list. If you have yet to read any of her books, I highly recommend you do. All the books in this series are standalones, but I suggest you read them in order to have an even greater reading experience. Interpreter: Every book in this series keeps getting better and better! Interpreter is book four but if you've read the series from the beginning, then you've already met Tim. There are so many amazing characters in this series. I'll be honest, while I loved all the books, so far Interpreter is my favorite. Tim has had my attention for a long time and I was so impatient for his story. I'm also eager for Vic's story too. Kristy Marie has an incredible talent when it comes to putting pen to paper. Her books are angsty, emotional, sexy, and humorous. I truly appreciate the humor in her books because the premises are dark and even sad. Her balance of all the emotions is perfect. The attention to detail and the research that went into this book was so appreciated. I was heartbroken at times. Tim was such an intense hero. He had been through so much and his story is downright heart-rending and distressful. Tim is a strong-minded man. Also, stubborn. When he meets Milah, Tim slowly realizes that he is missing out on life by hiding away. Milah, was the perfect heroine for Tim. She was beautiful inside and out. She instinctually knew what Tim needed and when. Rarely do you read about a heroine so attuned to her hero. They were soul-mates. Perfect together in every way. I am so glad I got a front row seat to Tim's happily-ever-after. It was so worth the agonizing wait! This is a series I highly recommend. Yes, Interpreter can be read as standalone but because of all the interaction with secondary characters, you'll be eager for their stories. I promise you won't be disappointed! I’m sorry for not giving more details about the premise of this book but I feel you would appreciate reading all this perfection on your own. These are my honest and unbiased reviews. Thank you for taking the time to read them!

I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to ever read her debut novel “Commander in Briefs” as an ARC reader/reviewer, and I haven't look back since: she hooked me. Her writing style is engaging, her stories are unique and original and her characters are awesome and unforgettable. They stay with you. This book was one of those that struck me the hardest. It's like coming home and I feel complete, like part of me was missing and I didn't even realize it. Aside from a couple other books – one of them being “Gorgeous”, also by Kristy Marie – I honestly never felt so helplessly moved by a book before; and this wasn't just about me crying me eyes out. It was something else. My breath faltered and my heart physical hurt – I’m actually serious here. I didn't know if it was sadness, or happiness or love, I just know that from now on, my love and appreciation for Theo is bigger than ever before. Ans and Theo are forever going to be one of my favorite couples: they’re never leaving the back of my mind, ever. Their connection is so strong, their relationship is so different and deep and beautiful, argh... At this point I’m actually running out of words and ways to explain what these characters, their story and this particular book mean to me. I felt it so deep. It was so cool to meet an already feisty, young Anniston and an equally rambunctious and incorrigible Theo: their bond is formed immediately. And it was even more fascinating being there along for their journey together. ____________________________________ *Commander Review: This is Kristy Marie's debut novel and I couldn't be more impressed. Beautiful and clever writing; it pulls you in from the get-go. Anniston, Theo, Cade and "company" *wink - no spoilers*: I love these people! They've become more than just characters in a book; they now hold a special place in my heart and will be on the back of my mind for a long time. Anniston is refreshing; exhilarating. This is a heroine right here: the kind that makes you wish you too were strong, independent, funny, feminine while still hanging with the boys and, last but certainly not least, the kind that makes you want to be a smartass. The full package. I love it. Theo pushes all my buttons. The good ones and the bad ones. I don't know which ones I prefer and I truly don't know how he does it. He can shatter my heart to pieces and put it back together perfectly, like it was never broken to begin with... all in one paragraph. AND he can turn me on and piss me off at the same time. How is that even possible? Well, he's hot AF. That helps. A LOT. Additionally, he really is a good guy. Not that he cares what you think of him. Sure, 97.8% of the people who know him wish they could just punch that proud (sexy) smirk right off of his face, but don't let that be the basis for your judgment. It just comes with the territory. Theo is unapologetic. Anniston and Theo's relationship is anything but conventional and I f*cking love it. (Zero spoilers here either *insert evil smirk*) It's different from everything else I've ever read, specially what/how is explored in the first couple of chapters. I just wanted to be able to witness it first hand. If this book ever becomes a movie I think I'll die. And audiobook? Please make it happen... I'm first in line to buy it. You know what I mean. Considere me already there. And Cade.... a man after my own heart. Kristy can I have him? Please. Early Christmas present maybe? FINE. I'll wait. But he's mine. I called dibs on chapter 2 and fell in love on chapter 3. He's that good. Sweet, loving, caring and fiercely loyal. Did I mention hot, sexy, gorgeous...? Yeah, he's gorgeous. Just jump in head first, zero preconceived ideas you might get from reading the blurb. I had them too. It never felt so good to have the rug pulled from under my feet. The word "surprised" doesn't even begin to cover it. In conclusion, all I wanted to say to you is that you NEED this book in your life; you just don't know it yet. ____________________________________ *Gorgeous Review: Ho-ly cookies and jelly, I'm floored. I´ve been waiting for this book for 10 months now and I was still not prepared for this. She did it again. And five stars don't ever begin to cover it. Kristy Marie was able to do something that not everyone can achieve, at least not for me, and definitely not with this intensity: she created a world that I would give anything to live in. I do mean A-NY-THING. If someone said to me: "Here´s your plane ticket, now choose your fictional destination", you can bet your most precious possessions that my answer would be none other than Madison, Georgia - the plantation house bursting at the seams with hotAF Marines and a delicious foulmouth baseball player, to be more precise. I wanna move in... seriously...like, tomorrow. The house is big enough but if that´s an issue, I can always share a bed with Hayes or Tim; I don't mind. 😈 Or Vic, or Mason... you get the point. Cade and Breck´s story broke my heart, shattered it into a million tiny pieces. I cried So. Freaking. Much. Ugly tears. Straight up bawling, swollen face; the whole nine yards. And then, very slowly and carefully, they put it back together. And filled it. With love and hope. It's glowing now, in perfect shape. Something tells me it will be in shambles soon enough, because more books are coming my way and Kristy just can't seem to help herself. I think she secretly enjoys giving me mini heart attacks. I'm not even mad though. Keep'em coming. 😍 I now I'm being a softy here, but don´t let that trick you: I laughed out loud probably as many times as I´ve cried uncontrollably. The banter between Theo and Cade, the "poke the bear" game that the guys couldn't help but play just to get a reaction out of Jameson, Breck's text exchange with her awesome sidekicks, Anniston and Von Bremen "anything but conventional" relationship (I still love it) and four Marines generally being their deliciously awesome selves. Breck is so selfless and strong, what a gal! I wish I was half as anything she is. Her backstory was not at all what I was expecting - spoilers-free zone - and that's just one more reason why I love Kristy. She keeps me on my toes and takes me for a spin every time I think I figured something out. Cade was, is and always will be mine... in some way or another. His tortured soul, his emerald eyes, his love for Anniston, his devotion to his team. My #Major. My #Gorgeous. And let us not forget, still dangerously hot... everything. *swoon* I was just trying to keep it delicate and PG. Failing miserably here, I know, but it just can't be helped. 😄 I can wait to dive back into this world and be with this family again. I can wait to meet Anniston and Theo one more time. I can wait to see what's in store for naughty Hayes and I WILL NOT LEAVE KRISTY ALONE until every single man in that house gets his happily ever after. Thank you so much for bringing this characters into my life. I'm just a bookworm with a serious case of "the feels" for all things fictional and broken. By the way, speaking of broken, I haven't forgot about Kane Kurtzman, ma´am. Don't be a tease. Give him to me. Soon. I'll be here, not so patiently waiting. __________________________________ *Drifter Review: So, we are FINALLY back in Madison and this time, it’s Handsome´s turn to find his Boo Thang (sorry, couldn’t resist); I just didn't’ know if I was ready. I mean, don't get me wrong: I was more than ready for another book in this series since the minute I finished “Gorgeous”. Okay, maybe not that soon: hearts need recovery time. But I just didn't know if I was ready to lose Connor So-Hot-It-Hurts, Always-Smirking-And-Ready-To-Crack-A-Joke Hayes. Even when I was certain that Kristy was going to make me love Bianca to death. Spoiler alert: it worked. Out of the tree books, I feel like this is probably the story that delivers the least amount of blows to your gut, but don't let it fool you. It can come at you with a vengeance that you didn't even saw coming. Just so I can paint you a picture: 15% into it I had already cried, swooned, giggled, laughed out loud; you name it, I did it. And, to remain true to its predecessors, I was faced with a dilemma: do I: a) read it at a quick pace and get to know the story ASAP - like my life depended on it - while still savoring all the words and details, or b) take my time with every single little word and piece of information, because I don't want it to end. Like, ever. So, what did I do? Uh… both? I’m not sure. The only thing I know is that I'm ready to read it again. Now. Kristy Marie was, once more, successful when it comes to make me look like a crazy lady, since I was tearing up for the majority of my read and straight up crying my eyes out from 85% forward. Without giving too much away, Bianca and Hayes meet under peculiar circumstances and the battle of wills ensues: Bianca feels that there’s more to Connor than just the player on the outside, but doesn't want to have anything to do with him, while Hayes does everything to figure Bianca out. That includes, becoming a permanent fixture in her live. Bianca didn't even saw it coming. It’s a story of seconds chances; allowing someone to come into your life and totally and completely shift the way you see yourself and others; that not everybody else is there to use you and discard you. Some people care. Some people see right through you. The right one will defy you and slowly make their way into your heart; the right one stays and fights, for you and with you. Forever. Ohh, that was a tough one. Okay, let’s pick this up. And Kane? Yes, I literally squealed when I “saw” him again. And some of the things that come out of his mouth? Stick a fork in me; I'm done. Also, low blow: I cried my eyes out meeting Aspen and reading Hayes talk about how everyone just dotes on her. Now, not only do I want a house full of hot, protective marines, I also want a baby. Thanks. 🤣 I can’t wait to come back to Madison; I need more of this family in my life. Didn’t know it was possible but I fall more and more in love every time we go back. And it is all you: the laughs, the ugly crying, the this-is-so-hot-I'm-literally-fanning-myself moments and some many more feelings you provoked. You created a world I would give anything to live in Still not awesome at writing reviews but I guess I got my point across. That point being: you need these characters in your life, you just don't know it yet. Believe me, I know. Kristy’s writing style and the stories she creates will get you hooked. ___________________________________ *Interpreter Review: I can't even believe it's been a year since I first met Tim in "Gorgeous" and claimed him for myself. That infamous scene y'all... wink-wink. Oh, we have so many of those here and they take on a whole different meaning and depth - aside from being hot as all f-ck, obviously. I've waited and Kristy Marie did not disappoint. Ah, as if that's even a thing that would happen. Sure enough, she delivered and gifted us with yet another beautiful, heartfelt storyline that will give you all the feels. If by any chance you've read one of my reviews before, you probably know that I tend to focus more on the feelings, emotions and thoughts conjured by the book than indeed about the characters or the plot. This case is no different. If anything, this is the one that'll likely clue you in on why that is. Every single release in this series has been highly anticipated and gushed over once it actually lands on my kindle: every time, it's like coming home. I officially want to move to Madison, Georgia. These characters have become such a big and important part of my reading life that I struggle to imagine how I'm going to cope when all these stories are finally told. All of the ones published so far have a special place in my heart and there's no such thing as "my favorite": just like a mother, I love them all equally - with all of their singularities. Theo and Anniston have a relationship that's anything but conventional, a story anything but plain and I freaking love them hardcore for it. Cade and Breck... there's no way they weren't born destined to be eachother's soulmates; that kind of bond is otherworldly. Hayes and Bianca taught us that you don't have to be the poster child for whatever "perfect" is supposed to be - you just need to be your best, and everything will fall into place. Maybe sacrifices or choices are required, but what's that compare with what you can have? You'd probably willingly make them, just like Bianca did. Tim and Milah are living proof that, no matter how many situations seem unsolvable and unfair, no matter how bad life seems to wanna take you down, you can always choose to stand tall and fight for what you want, face your fears. So far, Tim's story as been the most anticipated one - due to mainly (but not only) - a very specific scene in "Gorgeous" that caught everyone's attention and kept us all in the edge of our seats. Well, like I said in the beginning of this review, that scene can now be looked at as being both a sexy demonstration of power - kinky! - or a simple yet beautiful and intimate gesture, a display of a deeper connection. Kristy Marie is a true rockstar and the little details like these are the reason why her stories are felt so deeply. She has a way of, so effortlessly, breaking you heart and mending it in the same exact paragraph. How?! I honestly need to get emotionally ready for each new release because I just know some beautiful yet profound and compelling plot is coming my way. Oh my God, and Aspen?! What the hell are you trying to do to me? Ovaries non-existent at this point. Geez. I can't to see her grow up surrounded by overprotective uncles. I mentioned Tim's story being highly anticipated by me and now that it's here please don't mind if I do, I'll just leave this here: Kristy, we've talked about this and I got even more anxious and excited so I'll reinforce that, my next hugely awaited character to get their happily-ever-after... Mr. Kane Kurtzman. I mean... I told you, is growing on me. I swear, your jerks are so freaking appealing. And Mason? Talk about mystery man!!! TL.DR: definitely give this story a chance and I know you won't regret it. Grab the tissues. Oh, and maybe some extra underwear might be handy, just on case. It's my Tim we're talking about here after all.

I was totally sobbing in between 🤷🏼‍♀️ I loved the letters from her brother. What I also really loved was the tight group of people. Best friends. Soulmates. I like reading a series of friends or family. Can’t wait to read more! Drifter: I have not read that book yet! Interpreter: I absolutely loved this book! Milah is a teacher from Costa Rica, and lives in the States with a work visa. Unfortunately her job is on the line and no job means no visa. Throw in Oliver, that absolutely adorable little boy. This book is absolutely fantastic, so much love. It lets your ovaries explode lol. A must read in this series. Can be read as a stand-alone, but I advise to read in order, to get to know each member of the foundation.

And Theo, so stubborn yet so lovable with that douche attitude, the way he cares and that he is there for her it’s so sweet. Side by side. Always together, as friends but also as something more. The way the love they have for each other develops was so unique, where there’s no rush to get there and I think the author did a great job by allowing us to enjoy this hell of a ride story.

KU* 4.5 stars for the collection, I need more books for Mason, Vic and Kane ;) Pitcher - 4 stars First I have to say I fell in twisted love with our crazy couple Theo and Anniston in Commander in Briefs; I was so excited to get more details into how they met and how they ended up in there craziness of a relationship. It’s good to know that Ans and Theo were always nuts and that no one co KU* 4.5 stars for the collection, I need more books for Mason, Vic and Kane ;) Pitcher - 4 stars First I have to say I fell in twisted love with our crazy couple Theo and Anniston in Commander in Briefs; I was so excited to get more details into how they met and how they ended up in there craziness of a relationship. This is a prequel to Commander in Briefs, it gives the before of our crazy peeps and leads right into their book. It’s good to know that Ans and Theo were always nuts and that no one could intrude on their “relationship,” but like I’ve always said Anniston gave Theo too much leeway in all things in my opinion. I would have absolutely loved to have seen some parts after the "incident" when Theo had to deal with Anniston's first sexual conquest that didn't include him;) Commander - 4 stars This book was very enjoyable but not exactly what I was expecting. The relationship between Theo and Anniston was so twisted and hilarious I didn’t know what to do with them. You get to see what started the friends with benefits agreement and I must say they both had fault in it, but Theo should have handled the situation better. To say that Anniston’s forgiveness was not instant is an understatement since it took about 7 years and the most twisted friends with benefits arrangement for her to actually consider Theo as something more. I can’t even lie I somewhat felt bad for Theo because he knew he messed up and he knew what he lost and tried so hard to get it back, but he knew his girl so he played by her rules... until Cade came along. Cade is a homeless veteran who Anniston befriends and helps recover, but Theo only sees him as threat to the real relationship he wants with Anniston. Now I must be honest the synopsis really intrigued me, but that part of the story in my opinion resolved itself by the 50% mark. However, Anniston is not done savings others which leads her to another problem, a more dangerous problem. This book kind of went from a second chance romance to romantic suspense type situation. The whole Lawson/Nicole/Lou thing did get a little annoying especially with certain situations that seemed too unrealistic. I did enjoy it but by the end of the book there was a lot of stuff going on and Anniston and Theo became sort of the secondary story to it in a way. Also I fell like all Anniston and Theo did was have sex everywhere at anytime where anyone can see for the entire book, not complaining just stating a fact ;) Gorgeous - 4 stars I love seeing the whole gang again! Anniston and Theo are still a bunch of crazy nymphos (the garter belt situation lol) and Cade is still his sexy and brooding self. But now we get to see more into Cade’s past and what really happened that awful night. Breck, also known as Cade’s jelly girl, is connected to Cade’s past, but he doesn’t recognize her, however, Breck is there to help him heal. I don’t want to give too much away but I absolutely adored Breck and Cade together; he was such a buttmole to her, but Breck was too strong to let him push her around. This was beautiful and sexy story but I did get teary eyed during certain moments. Drifter - 4.5 stars I just adored this book, I loved Connor and Bianca! This is one of my favorite series, and I couldn’t wait to see who would bring Connor to his knees and Bianca didn’t disappoint. I just loved Bianca, she had been through a lot in her life starting very young, but she survived and took care of her mother. There were times I wanted to shake Bianca, but I also understood why she struggled and gave Connor such a hard time. Connor was just so swoon-worthy and he never gave up on his Bianca even though there first meeting didn’t go so well. I didn’t want this book to end and Bianca’s brave move at the end was awe inspiring. The love that builds slowly between them was so beautiful, but I did love the show of jealousy from both of them at times. I can’t wait to read Tim’s story especially since we get a glimpse of him and his woman, Milah. Interpreter - 4.5 stars KU* 4.5 stars Oh Tim, how I heart thee! I have to say all the things we learned about Tim in this book had me in complete shock. There was so much more to Tim than his Marine career and tragedy he suffers/suffered just broke my heart. I will say the book starts off a little slow but it definitely starts to pick up when he meets his co-teacher/boss, Milah. Milah is fiesta small woman with a big personality and majorly short temper which was hilarious to watch unfold especially on Tim. I just loved those 2 together and I couldn’t wait to see how their story would unfold. Ok so there a few moments when I wanted to shake them both: Tim with is knee jerk reactions and Milah with her important secret keeping. Now I must mention Oliver because that little boy broke and healed my heart; the changes and feelings he pulled out of a resistant Tim was just beautiful. There were so many great and interesting new friends introduced and I couldn’t help but laugh at their shenanigans with our guys, especially Theo. Our little Aspen is growing up and has the men firmly wrapped around her little finger, most especially her Uncle Tim. This book deals with Tom’s hearing loss and how his past experience with this situation created the man he is today. I absolutely love this book and I didn’t want it to end. I look forward to Mason, Vic and Kane’s book! I can’t wait to see what awaits them ;)

Pitcher: Commanding the Pitcher is quite possibly one of the best novellas that I have read! These characters and this world that Kristy Marie has created is so well done that I feel like I am right there with them, fully immersed in their world. The character development and the relationship progression is just as perfect as it would be in a full-length novel. That's a great testament to the skill of the author. Can we just talk about Theo and Ans for a second? I absolutely love these characters. Pitcher: Commanding the Pitcher is quite possibly one of the best novellas that I have read! The character development and the relationship progression is just as perfect as it would be in a full-length novel. That's a great testament to the skill of the author. Can we just talk about Theo and Ans for a second? I absolutely love these characters. I am so glad this prequel was written. It give SO much insight to their backstory and essentially sets the stage for the events in Commander in Briefs. And OMG- that cliffy! It was perfectly satisfying, but with a side of "I NEED MORE NOW!!!" At least you don't have to wait long to get the answers to what happens next as CiB is already available to be devoured!!! This novella pitched a "backdoor slider" into 5 AMAZING STARS!!! Commander: "You had me at fastball...“ I have so many feelings after reading this book, that I'm not sure I can adequately express them... First of all, it is clear that you (Kristy) took the time to research all of topics in this book (veteran affairs, PTSD, Baseball, Medicine, etc...), and for that I am appreciative and I totally respect your writing process. As a military daughter, my heart strings are pulled in EVERY way when it comes it comes to veterans. Thank you for showing this very real side to post-war veteran life. I absolutely LOVED the witty comments scattered throughout the book that are read as "notes or comments" to the reader, such as "Train them up right girls, they aren't gonna do it themselves, no matter what romance novels lead you to believe." If that isn't the most real statement that I've read, I don't know what is! Let me say a quick blurb about the ending... I may or may not have cried many tears, while my teenage daughter looked at me like I've lost my mind... 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ The emotions that you drew from me during the conclusion of this book had me yearning to have that epic love in my own life. I CAN'T wait to read the next book in this series! Gorgeous: Gorgeous (Book 2 in the Commander in Brief series) did NOT disappoint! Major Cade Jameson is a beautifully broken marine who has been carrying around guilt over a situation that was not his fault, though he felt like it was. For years, since his return from abroad he was unable to assimilate back to civilian life and refused to develop a relationship with a woman. Eventually it took a strong woman to be able to break down walls and jolt him back to life. I felt such a myriad of emotions while reading this that I could NOT put it down! I felt as if I were right there, interacting with the characters in their world. I was so completely engaged! Kristy Marie has a true gift with writing. I needed the next book in the series, like yesterday! Kristy, writing should be your full- time gig; because I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait for the next book! I want to live in his world forever! WELL DONE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Drifter: This book is so much more than I ever thought it would be. The character development and depth to these people are so well written that I would think that Kristy Marie has been publishing her whole life. The emotions that this story evoked in me is not something that is easily done. I laughed, I cried, I hurt/ached with these characters just as though I was living the story with them. Kristy Marie has an amazing gift in writing, which I hope she continues to share with us forever. This book is worth so much more than a 5 star rating, that I will already put it as one of my very top and most favorite books of 2019, if not of my whole life. Well done, Kristy. WELL DONE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Interpreter: I am having a really hard time writing a review for this book because, how do you put into words the raw and intense emotions that this book invoked? From the hilarious to the heart wrenching, I felt a myriad of emotions while reading Interpreter. I don’t want to talk specifics about the book because I believe it deserves for everyone to read it for themselves, but I will say, it’s this author’s best book yet. It was funny, touching, steamy, and beautiful all at the same time. I loved it with every ounce of my being. Definitely one of the best books of the year... BY FAR! If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Well done!!!

Pitcher (Novella)- 5 Stars! I’m not sure I’ve ever been hooked as fast as I was with this book. Instantly addicted! This starts out with Stong, Kickass Anniston in Middle School and you get to see how she met Theo and their relationship. My heart melted so quick for these two between the laughter and friendship. The competition, banter was amazing. Of course in their relationship, Fear keeps them from becoming who you feel they are meant to be for eachother. It really tears at your heartstring. The competition, banter was amazing. Of course in their relationship, Fear keeps them from becoming who you feel they are meant to be for eachother. It really tears at your heartstring. There is a lot of tension until..... This was very addictive and I really enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions and know it continues which I can’t stop myself from picking up the next book...Commander! Commander- 4 1/2 Stars! Holy Cow! What I though to expect out of this book was not what came about. Anniston and Theo’s story continues and I have to say they have such a weird relationship. Definitely different but I can tell you it is entertaining. Their own level of immaturity makes me laugh. Theo isn’t my type of book boyfriend but he is perfect for Anniston. Anniston, with her big heart of gold wants to take care of everyone. She really finds who she is outside of life with Theo. Some may not care for everything that goes on in this book but I for one fell hard and fast. It’s been awhile since I’ve been addicted to a series like I am with this one. I was completely captivated until the very end. I highly recommend if you like Second Chances, stubborn tension, weird twists, possible love triangle, and suspense. Gorgeous- 4 1/2 Stars Oh Cade, sweet, sexy, broken Cade. His story even more heartbreaking than I thought. Gradually you get to piece things together to understand him better as well as the other hot Marines. Vic, Tim, Hayes you see even more than last book and get even more background on them which makes you hope they get their own stories. It was great to see the crazy duo called Theo and Anniston, they keep things entertaining and on the edge. I really enjoyed the war between Breck and Cade. Between their banter ontop of the banter with the other characters I was laughing out loud where I was getting strange looks from other people. Haha These characters are each unique and this isn’t the usual Enemies to Lovers. I love how Kristy Marie is original in her stories and it doesn’t feel like it is cookie cutter to all the other books out there. It’s fun, extremely hot, and refreshing how different it is. I highly recommend this sweet and sexy story! Drifter- 5 Stars Okay so who wasn’t looking forward to Hayes’ story? I know I certainly couldn’t wait until someone saddles down this kind lovable stubborn playboy. I was NOT disappointed! This was a fun and exciting ride that you can’t get enough of. An amazing story with a perfect ending. Drifter is a must read! I highly recommend this series or even this book as a stand alone. Hayes’ story is by far my favorite of them all. Interpreter-5 Stars! Whoa what an amazing story! This was emotional and beautiful. The love, passion, and healing all crawls into your heart where you cannot resist being pulled in. This certainly is such a heartwarming feel good story. I know Drifter was my favorite in the series but Interpreter certainly has a special place in my heart. I can’t say how much I recommend this book, was truly wonderful.

This series is more than amazing! I’m obsessed with these boys, their girls, and their family of marines. 💗 ✨Pitcher Review✨ The best novella I’ve read in a while! I am usually hesitant to jump to the beginning of characters stories when I’ve read (and reread) their journey, but I am so glad I picked this one up. Theo is such a jerk but what I love most is Ans gives it RIGHT BACK 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Their chemistry is off the charts and the banter between all of the characters is phenomenal. You have to read this book today! Kristy Marie is easily my new favorite one-click author. ✨Gorgeous Review✨ Perfect follow-up to Commander in Briefs ♥️ Cade and Breck are perfect together. I loved getting to know Cade outside of CiB. Breck is so good for him! And we get more of the guys and their banter. I mean what more can you want? ✨Interpreter Review✨ Kristy Marie knocked this one out of the park (that baseball reference is for you girl 😉). Interpreter is her best work yet, hands down, no single question. You can feel her time and dedication to these characters from page one. She poured her heart and soul into this masterpiece and it shows on every page. I knew Tim was going to be special to me, but I don’t think I could have ever prepared for how much I love him. He is described as broody and closed off but I felt he was just lost - in his own head and the silence that is his life. Watching him find his footing and connect with Milah was nothing short of magical. The intimacy between Milah and Tim is beautiful in the most pure way possible. I am referring to real all-encompassing intimacy. The way they connect is organic and fluid - they fill each other’s needs without even trying. They were so many scenes that left me in tears or with goosebumps from experiencing this with them. I could go on and on about the care given to the deaf community, the beautifully described struggles and HILARIOUS new characters but I’ll leave you with this - you know a book is good when it changes your day to day. After reading Interpreter I am so thankful for my sense and the things I get to enjoy while having them. I’m also signing more frequently because I’ve been fluent since childhood, and the whole time, I wanted to hug Tim and tell him you are enough. Thank you Kristy. I needed Tim in my life, and I didn’t even know it.

All the Commander in Briefs books in one affordable boxset. For me, each of these reads was a 4 or a 5 star read- so a great investment if you love military romance, medium to slower burn stories, a dash of humor in your romance, and strong and sassy heroines. Pitcher + Commander Theo and Anniston’s story begins with a delightful novella in Pitcher. Even if you’ve already read Commander, this still was a fabulous prequel read. Kristy always brings such sassy, big personality ladies, and Anniston is just so. Theo is the alpha-jerk hero that is oh so deliciously swoon worthy. This friends to love story has such commanding chemistry (see what I did there?!)- from the highs to the lows, this couple’s journey is quite the ride- lots of character depth, and who doesn’t love a possessive, dirty talking Alpha? This is just a great tale of two soul mates and destiny. Gorgeous- This is my favorite of the series- Cade stole my heart in Commander, and I needed him to have his moment. But poor Cade, he’s broken, he’s got baggage, and he doesn’t think he’s good enough for Breck- so he constantly rebukes her. There is so much angst here- the road is rocky and full of jagged edges. If you love a push pull and tortured hero, this slow burn romance will capture your heart. Drifter- The playboy Conor gets his due- chasing down Bianca. Both characters are mirages- masking their own pain and emotions in carefully constructed visages- Bianca is tough as nails, Conor in his player persona. This story is charming as Bianca learns to open her heart. Kristy continued to delight in the military romance push-pull with some humor and sass. Interpreter- Tim meets Lilah through helping out in her classroom, a job he takes to find some joy as he is struggling with losing his hearing….although her job is at risk, and she needs a job to keep her work visa. Mila is a great Kristy heroine- strong willed and sassy, and she and Tim have that great banter, and this story is just very sweet. And Tim rivals Cade for the most swoon-worthy hero. Plus, we have a cute kid and my heart is all squishy. Every book is a standalone, but given interconnected characters I recommend reading in order.

Kristy hit it out of the ballpark once again with this fantastic story! I am so excited to see what she brings next!” Interpreter: “Interpreter was such a passionate, flawless story. As we all know, Tim lives with a hearing impairment that is slowly taking the ability to hear away from him. What we also know, is Kristy doesn’t give us perfectly, pressed characters. They aren’t flawless. They have pasts that aren’t pretty. Tim is no different. He has to find a way to push through this difficult time, but he’s not sure if he can.” Definitely check this boxset out. This series is definitely on my list of top series I’ve ever read. You will not be disappointed!!

But the absolute worst part is the way that this book disrespects our veterans. The author exploits their experiences by insinuating that men who serve are all broken and worthless until this rich woman comes along and starts telling them what to do. Then suddenly they feel like their life has value? Has this woman ever met a veteran in her life? Maybe she should try before basing an entire series about something that she obviously doesn’t understand. As a person with several military veterans, I have no words for how disappointed and disgusted I felt about this plot line. The author actually creates a story where this woman just pick veterans off the street to “save” and brings them home. She is that amazing that they all bow down and let her completely control their lives to fix PTSD depression anxiety etc. Sorry but anyone who has served is a stronger character than this narcissistic wishy washy character who changes her entire personality to revolve around a guy! All because he didn’t immediately bow to the relationship change she thrust on him. She could have went out and just lived her life instead of chasing after him and all of his friends. But she is somehow the amazing savior these men to save them? Complete trash!

definitely a DNF. I kept seeing the blurb for this pop on Facebook and I was sure I was going to love it. that assumption was way off. Not a romance I tried to enjoy this book. I read several reviews of how great Theo and Anniston’s story is. After slogging through the novella the novel seems just as bad.
