It has a built-in study guide with related suggested activities. Here students are shown how the Christian doctrine of vocation helps a person live a life that is both personally fulfilling and meaningful as well as being part of something bigger than themselves. Often, we think of jobs as vocations and then only jobs that perhaps require a certain amount of education and or sacrifice on behalf of the individual. However, the authors of these essays do a great job of showing that we all have different vocations and some of those vocations and our responsibilities in these vocations change over time. As such this book delves into the subject of identity in vocations not only in general but quite specifically in how this will play out being a student, a family member, a politically engaged citizen both locally and globally, environmental activism, family and church life, as well as being a person at play. The essayists are all highly qualified to write on there respective subjects as respected experts in their fields but also and more importantly as mature Christians who know the Christian faith and doctrine intimately.

I struggled to connect with the beginning of the book for some reason, but enjoyed the last 3 chapters.
