This book, the second book about Hannah’s break-up is much better than the first. She’s still all over the plan s, and she still plays a little hard and loose with people’s feelings, but she also does appear to have some redeeming qualities and remorse for her actions, While you most definitely have to read these books in order, this segment of the story is much better and shows good character growth. I also noticed that the author’s writing style has evolved some in this book, and I think it ma This book, the second book about Hannah’s break-up is much better than the first. Every woman has lived one of Hannah’s experiences. We have gone through a bad break up, made bad choices, worked at a job we hated. Being around the age of 30 and watching your plans crumble suck big time. Her story hits too close to home for me and I connected with her from the first book. Her story is like a list of what not to do in situations like that. Hannah as a character is a mess, she tries her best to move on but she falls into a vicious circle, yet she manages to jump back on her feet every single time. She is so strong and determined to make her plan work, it’s astonishing. This series is very different from the other chick-lit books I have ever read. I enjoyed them all and I can’t wait to read the last one. I will rate it with 4 stars.

This second book in the Sex, Life, and Hannah series sees Hannah make some progress in getting over her ex, only to run into him again! She manages to have a few dates, meet a few guys with potential, and still make some seriously bad decisions when it comes to love. Then she meets the guy that she thinks may actually be "the one." Through all of the bad decisions, tough scenarios and missteps, one thing remains consistent: Hannah is going to pick herself up, dust herself off, and try again. Each book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger going into the next, and all follow the same main character.

Hannah’s rebounding all over the place! She’s looking for what’s missing in her life bouncing from Ben and Mr. Smyth. Ben is just fun although he wants more and she wants Mr. Smyth but he doesn’t want a relationship. Her new boss is gorgeous. Should she go there? What could go wrong? Also her ex keeps showing up. Will he ever leave her alone? I can’t wait for book 2 to see what happens to Hannah next!
