I really did enjoy this series. My only true complaint is I would of loved more.I think that the author could of expanded each person's story and gave us more history, more happily ever after, more more more. I don't read a lot of novellas or short stories because they always leave me with questions. I like books that wrap things up like a present with a big red bow. I often feel that novellas leave so much room to expand and lave me wanting more. I think this series was good even though I would I really did enjoy this series. They were endearing and I will not soon forget them and the Sand Dollar Inn.

A Feel Good Series I would have given it an extra star if the books hadn’t skipped along so often. I started one book when it mentioned Nina’s son Chase coming for a visit with his wife and baby. I thought I must have missed a book because I had no clue he was married and had a baby. I went back to the previous book to see where they had gotten married. The previous book had them just starting to date and planning a short trip together. I was expecting more about Chase’s courtship of Jaime. The six books could have easily been combined into one complete book instead of six very short books that were more like chapters or essays on each one of the main characters. The characters lacked depth; their storylines were similar, predictable, lacked detail and flow, and quite honestly preposterous before coming to an abrupt conclusion. The dialogue was poorly written and unrealistic. Truthfully, at times I wondered why I continued reading, but I kept hoping the storyline would improve. The complete series I waited until I read the complete series to give a review. This is a great series - following the lives of all the characters. I live in California and have never Bern in Florida - but I would have loved coming to the inn and meeting Nina and her family! Very heartwarming stories

This book (and the series) are the perfect escape from everyday stress. This is a beautifully written book of second chances; beating the odds and finding who you are and what your place in the world is. I recommend you read this book & the Manatee Bay series. I was given an advanced cooy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

WOW!! Just finished the last book in The Sand Dollar Inn Manatee Bay series. This was an amazing series. I loved that we learned about each main characters life and saw the close family ties they all shared. Both this series and A Secret in Paradise were amazing. Time to pick my next series by Hazel Taylor. Thank you for these beautiful stories.

Life at Sand Dollar Inn What a fascinating family! Character development is in depth and new characters are introduced well. Description of Manatee Bay make me want to visit. All 6 books play on the next, but could stand alone. Noticed some slight discrepancies, but didn’t interfere with the stories. I would like to read more about Nina and her family.

What a lovely finale to a lovely series. Nina has found happiness and love again with Bill, at first Chase isn’t happy about their relationship, but relents when he sees how happy his mum is. The final book covers the latest news on all the family, and you will not be disappointed.

Ok I read this book because it was 6th in the series. A little crazy for me. Nina and Bill want to adopt a baby! They are in their fifties. Two of her children are just starting to have babies of their own for crying out loud.

Did not fulfill its potential. This leaves me thinking there us a book 7 not the end of a mini series. I enjoyed it because I was vested in the characters. As I am not a short story conisiuer, I can only say it did not seem enough.. How old is Bill anyway?

All six of these books are quick, easy reads but there’s never any true surprises in them. It’s pretty easy to quickly figure out who’s going to end up with whom and how the ending will be. If you have an afternoon with nothing to do, I’d suggest reading these.

Heaven on Earth I wanted to wait until I had read all 6 books to submit a review. Thanknyou, Hazel Taylor, for these wonderful stories about Nina, the mother, and her children and grandchildren. If you read the first one, you will get hooked and want more!

I enjoyed this series so much. There were trials and tribulations, but the love and closeness of the family came through. I hate to see this series come to an end, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next one. I enjoyed this series so much. This was an interesting format. Kindle divided it into 6 separate books, all of which I was able to borrow from Kindle Unlimited. Each "book" was the story of one of the family members, but was more like a short story than a book. I enjoyed the stories, but wish the author had a good editor. There were grammatical errors and language that did not flow smoothly. I think the stories were good, but editing would have provided a much more professional polish and I would have enjoyed the books much m This was an interesting format. I have enjoyed this series. It was good to see an older couple romance. Hazel Taylor developed a good story line throughout and her characters are ones that you can identify with and love. I’m sad for it to come to an end.

Predictable All six books could/should have been a chapter in one complete book. Simple plots. Lacked character development and back stories. Predictable.
