The book was ok, but In the numerous gunfights the heroes weapons, described as colt or Patterson revolvers seemed at times to be 8 or 9 shooters which was aggravating. He was also able to regularly shoot revolvers out the hands of the bad guys. Once he even shot the other guy's pistol barrel which the author claimed was right where he aimed. Unless the protagonist was a trick shot on the order of Bill Jordan who could shoot aspiring, that was pretty much impossible. It sort of ruined the book fo The book was ok, but In the numerous gunfights the heroes weapons, described as colt or Patterson revolvers seemed at times to be 8 or 9 shooters which was aggravating. I stopped reading about 80% through tge book when the protagonist shot his revolver 8 times and then gave it to someone else to shoot once more.

Who Is Fletcher, Really? The author interchanged names in the book. Interesting story and good characters, but - at the end of chapter 23 and the beginning of chapter 24 the hero was referred to by the village's name. I have seen this before in this author's books. It is a jolt when you come across it and leaves you hunting for it to happen again instead of falling back into the story and letting the excellent plot surround you.

Texas Trails This was a good read that was full of action and adventure, with no slow down in the middle. The characters are realistic and are used well, this was just as good as it gets.

This started as a good story, but the longer it went on, the more unbelievable and ridiculous it became. The book needs to be cut at least 10 chapters. Does she well.
