Fun series of who dunnits This was a fun and quick paces series . Kirby owns a comic book/ coffee shop in a little Florida burg. When his buddy is murdered Kirby gets drawn into the case as a suspect. As each book progresses his "sleuthing" becomes more obvious . What I really found interesting was the protagonist being a male. I've read lots of cozies over the years and the main characters have always been female. Maybe it's not that uncommon.... Anyway, Kirby likes to watch dated tv detective shows, read cozies himself and seems to be almost painfully shy when dealing with his feelings toward the opposite sex. He is also a whole lot more forgiving than I would be. So Mr. Nice Guy helps the local police solve murder mysteries with the help of his dog and cat. Fun, silly and thoroughly enjoyable series.

Fun to read a cozy mystery that doesn't have a woman protagonist. In reading however, this is a very unusual man in that he is very gentle and doesn't partake of the things that guys tend to do in real life. In that vein, it would be nice if guys are like him but most are not. So, he becomes a little surreal. Fun to read a cozy mystery that doesn't have a woman protagonist. I enjoyed the books. At first it was different having it written in Kirby's point of view. I enjoyed the relationship between Kirby and his Memaw. It was refreshing to see that. The characters were closeknit. The last book seemed a little full to me like it had alot of stuff going on in it but I did enjoy these books I enjoyed the books. Fun read! This is a cute little series. The main character was different than most cozies and I like that. Most of these main characters are women and this one was a man which added a different flavor to the series. It was also very well written and the supporting cast was great! If anybody wants a relatively light hearted read pick this up! You won’t regret it!

Great Entertainment I love how each book flows into the next. References to some of my favorite mystery personalities was spot on. I was unhappy to learn without a doubt what will happen with Kirby though until 2021. Hopefully i will get an alert. Worth the wait though.

Nice switch up from the usual Nice switch up from the usual cozy mysteries. I rather enjoyed this gender swap that is so rare among cozies.

Very engaging Love having a guy as the lead character! Not as sappy as some Cozy Mystery stories can be at times.

I love the series! It is everything. A male protagonist that owns coffee shop bookstore, well comic book store, the dog that helps with the investigation, tons of murder and mystery to solve.
