Well written This book was well written and edited. The murder plot was excellent with clues throughout the book yet I was surprised at the end. My only issue was that the characters aren't very well developed. The main characters could use some spicing up. They felt too perfect and without flaws which would make the characters more interesting. Well written This book was well written and edited. Will Maris manage to solve the mystery, or will her friend find himself a suspect? The Witch Who Saw a Star is the second book in the Pixie Point Bay Witch Cozy mystery. My favorite aspect of this book was the fact that it managed to keep the small-town feel while pulling in elements from Hollywood. As someone who's always enjoyed movies, I like books centered around the people behind them. If I had one criticism, it's that the paranormal elements can sometimes feel a little tacked on, rather than a feature of the series. Regardless, I recommend checking out The Witch Who Saw a Star. If you liked the first book, you'll enjoy this one too.
