   I loved the plot and the characters but it was really hard to get beyond the grammar errors. If it had a good once over with an editing eye, it could easily be a 5 star book. It’s just a little hard to read as is.

   This is a pretty good story that combines fantasy, a murder mystery and a romance. The characters are good; the book is well paced; the plot is interesting. However, the book needs a lot of editing ... spelling, incorrect word usage, proper grammer, etc. Actually some of the mistakes are amusing (eg., admission for ignition) but many are confusing. I think it would be beneficial to have the book reviewed and corrected by a native English speaker.    I loved the story and read it with joy. I look forward to part 2 I read the book again and now the edited version. The author had sent me a new copy. I'm happy with the new version. While I did not mind the grammar mistakes in the old version, I can understand someone would. But the typos were distracting, and I almost wondered if the author used English as a second language (and then, upon reading the authors bio discovered that to be the case). The story was good, and I definitely think a good editor would make this story a great read. For the author, your story and characters are great. You have a wonderful understanding of the English language. There are just nuances in the writing of the I hoped to love this book. Everything about it is right up my usual alley.
