It was good but I felt like things were a bit rushed during some scenes. Savage As Hell is sadly the last book of The Demon Academy series. Yet, I just felt like the whole thing with Lucifer kind of ended too quickly for me. I mean he was a douche canoe for a while so I knew that something was bound to happen...but I don't know. Bailey's books.

Fun and exciting I loved this series and I really loved the cross over with the Lost Time Academy with Madi and her mates. I love reading series like this where there are spin offs and the chance for all the spin offs and their characters to actually come together at the end for an even greater story. The concept of the four horses/mates was not very detailed except for the fact that her mates will help her in freeing the souls of hell. There wasn’t a lot of explanation, it was just explained as “this is how it is”(not a direct quote, just the vibe I got when reading). It just was...I’m terrible at explaining things 🤦🏻‍♀️ When the 4 horses concept was first mentioned, I expected it to be tied more closely to the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse but that connection was never mentioned. If it is connected, then I would say it’s loosely based on that theory since they didn’t bring about the apocalypse nor did they have specific powers related to pestilence, famine, war, and death. Overall it was a good series but it was short. I read the entire series in a day. I loved the creativity that the author has created, but her unique storylines and world building is something I always expect from her books, and she hasn’t let me down as of yet.

Sad it's over I'm usually not a huge fan of bully or academy books but this one was amazing. I'm so sad this series is over. I really loved Alexandria and her men. I was so excited to see Madi and her men from the Tales books in this one. I hope to see them and Alexandria and her harem when we get the Angel academy series . This is a series I will definitely read agAin and again. Sad it's over I'm usually not a huge fan of bully or academy books but this one was amazing. I'm so sad this series is over. Another hit series!! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series and one thing Gem does that always leaves me intrigued, is to find out more about the next spin off series because you know it’s coming!! This is the finale in Lexie’s story and she obviously gets a HEA but it’s how they get there that is exciting. We also get to see some familiar characters you’ll be glad to see and a glimpse into the near future, I can’t wait for more !

Lexi is now in hell...but so is Morgan who being a dark angel fell for her. He's no longer able to go back to earth just like her. Now if she can just stop him from going crazy like Lucifer. Her mates and hell the whole school is in Hell thanks to that a-hole Lucifer. Lexi is feeling the pressure to set things right and kill that mofo. Can it be done? Not to mention the challenge between Lucifer and Morgan for the title of Hell and their Queen. Let me start by saying I have enjoyed this series. There were parts where it needed to be fleshed out more. This book I was expecting more of a sonic boom at the end with the grappling between Morgan and Lucifer. It was over pretty quickly once Lexi did her thing. So, a little disappointing. However, I am glad it ended happily. Not everyone survived but thats how it is. Dude her Grandmother I mean really? She didnt want anything to do with her because she looked like her son and blamed her Mom?! Blah Lexi is better off without her in her life anyways.

5 stars for Savage as Hell by G.Bailey This is the third and final book in the Demon Academy series. This book picks up right where the cliffhanger in book two left us. “When angel blessed enter hell, they can never leave for the mark will take their soul. Alexandria can never leave hell now, or it will be true death for her.”Wow what an ending. I loved how G. Bailey brought in some characters from her other stories. This series was complex and intriguing in the best ways. I wish there were more 5 stars for Savage as Hell by G.Bailey This is the third and final book in the Demon Academy series. I just wanted information about that. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, the unexpected happened. I enjoyed everything about this series and all of the characters. I could read more and more about them and not get tired. This was another great series from G. Bailey.

A good read. Ok, so the first book started out choppy, with slightly awkward dialogue, the second book improved and had a lot more character development, and the third book was a lot better, with a believable flow and plotline. I was disappointed with this one as the writing was so rushed that it felt like we were just being taken through the motions of the bare outline of the plot. It was also incredibly predictable, there were zero surprises. I also found it ridiculous that the main characters didn't know what the horse marks were after she learned about the 4 horsemen prophecy in the previous book. And as with the 2nd half of the 2nd book, context and transitions were lacking so that the plot often didn't make sense I was disappointed with this one as the writing was so rushed that it felt like we were just being taken through the motions of the bare outline of the plot. Things happening out of nowhere with no buildup or explanation. Typos galore. I really liked the first book so I'm sad that the series fizzled and wasn't done justice.

Lexi is in hell and she doesn't have a lot of time before Lucifer makes her his bride. With Morgan suffering as a fallen angel, and her three other guys on earth, they all need to figure out a way to survive and kill Lucifer. I also love how sassy Amethyst is and her love for her sons. I noticed that there is a crossover with characters from another series—which I haven't read yet— who they play a part that together with Lexi and her four guys build up somewhat to a new mystery. It's official: my favorite G. Bailey series so far! I loved everything about this series, from the unique topic, to the smoldering guys, and to the badass main character. The last books in Baileys novels always feel so short, but there is so much involved in the storyline. I now need to read the Tales series as I have met those characters, and I need to follow up with the angel series. This collection of novels is one that I am going to read and reread many times in the future :) It's official: my favorite G. Bailey series so far! It took me longer than I'm proud to admit to finish the final installment. Felt like it took forever to get to the interesting fight scenes and altercations and when they finally did, they ended within a chapter. Disappointed is an understatement given that I was expecting a start to finish nail biter, and instead got book i was barely interested in picking up, unless there was absolutely nothing else to do. Everything wrapped up nicely. Went how I expected it to, and finished with an interesting twist - as per usual with this trilogy. Liked seeing the Hell side of things, but there wasn’t a lot of world building and I didn’t really feel like there was much of a difference between the Academy and Luc’s castle. Still, it wrapped up most of the plot threads and we even got a nice little epilogue that ended on a most peculiar note. 3.5 stars ⭐️

A great end to an amazing series! Although the ending battle seemed a bit rushed, it was still a great read! The characters were still amazing and in this last book, Amethyst quickly became a favorite. It is bittersweet to see the series come to an end, but the Angels Academy makes up for it, a little. This series was worth the read and the pain and suffering that came right alongside it.

I fell in love with this series right off the bat, couldn't get enough of Lexi and her crazy journey to get her mates and stay away from Lucifer's destruction. I loved all the side characters (Sera and Amethyst take the cake) and I loved the idea of how it would all come together and end. I just don't think it was executed the way G Bailey is usually really good at. I just don't think it was executed the way G Bailey is usually really good at. Now don't get me wrong, I love G Bailey and will continue to read her stuff, but book 3 of this trilogy felt rushed starting about 20% into the book. I was wondering how she was going to get to the 4 horsemen thing when she had only mated with 2 at the end of book 2. There was a lot of discontinuity and skipping through time with no transitions. It felt like there was a set site of the book and the author had to try and fit everything in before she ran out of words. I loved what she wrote, but I wished it had been fleshed out more. I had been waiting and waiting for Claus and Morgan and they were done right after another (with no book time in between) and it was like oh let's fight for a sec and mate or lets have a verbal back and forth and then wham bam thank you mam. I thought Javier and Nick were given proper timing and development and the flows really worked (like I said I devoured those audiobooks in days). I loved how G Bailey weaved in another series, but we didnt get to see their development with the group until the epilogue. Like all of a sudden everyone was best friends and living their best lives. I probably would have waited to give that kind of scene for the box set and given us an epilogue with them becoming friends. I just felt like we pressed fast forward in book 3 so I was getting a cliff notes version. Like, the best way I can describe it is like I have my favorite bowl of ice cream and I am loving it and trying to savor it, but its 105F outside and its melting so I have to rush to finish it and then am left a little unsatisfied because I ate it too quickly. Hopefully that made sense! I love this series, but there were also some discrepancies in this book that the other 2 didnt have. Some inconsistent series of event, things randomly brought up that wasn't mentioned anywhere else (I checked a couple things and had to breeze over them because I was lost/couldnt find any reference in books 1 and 2). This book had a lot of potential. I would still recommend the overall series, but I hope one day G Bailey might revisit just this book (books 1 and 2 are fabulous) and keep the cadence and flow that we had in books 1 and 2.

This book was full of action and revelations. I loved getting a better look at the twins' mom, Amethyst (Lilith), and her past with Lucifer. She was a really interesting secondary character that added some depth to the story beyond Lexi and the guys. Also- minor spoiler- her showdown with Lucifer was epic! I really liked the little crossover with the Tales characters (Madi and her guys). Gem is notorious for her intersecting story arcs and I love it! In her note at the end of the book she mentions a new series coming out soon, The Angel Academy, that will follow this story a few years later. That combined with Madi and Lexi's conversation in the Epilogue has me really looking forward to the next installment in this world! As always, I look forward to Gem's next story, whether a part of this world or another.
