Nailbiter goes full blown batshit crazy in this volume. So I made note the last time I read volume 6 (The end of the original series) That I enjoyed the series but thought the last volume was kind of a dud. This one, is thankfully, better. So Alice and Crane are still our main characters here but we can't forget about Warren. We learned what happened to our faithful anti-hero here. But the end of the last volume had Warren jumping out to kill the love of his life! No it was a fake out, that shit Nailbiter goes full blown batshit crazy in this volume. Lots of twist and turns here. Pure chaos, some sick ass kills, and neck-breaking fast paced action. This is just fun. This is what Nailbiter needed. I'm not saying it's great but it's way better than I expected it. The art is goofy cartoony fun making the kills even better. The action flows real well too. The story itself is so dumb and absurd but you take the campy corny feeling because it's a story about legendary serial killers. Overall, sign me up for more.

Ahhh so glad to be reading nailbiter again. One of my favorites going back. Always a fun read. And I just read sweet tooth the return. The boys dear Becky. Tales from harrow county. Locke and key is teaming up with sandman. All the greats are coming back for another go. Couldn't be happier about it. 4 stars. Ahhh so glad to be reading nailbiter again. As someone who did not enjoy volume 6 of nailbiter but loved the rest of the series, this continuation was very welcomed. It’s almost like Joshua Williamson was like, “hey sorry things kinda ended abruptly— here’s more story and I’ll retcon the ending to the original series”. I enjoyed this volume a lot. Good to see these characters again. Wish it was going for more than 10 issues. But it’s nice to be able to say “Nailbiter is great”. And not “Nailbiter is great, but doesn’t end well.”

I love this insane ridiculous series. This is a new arc, and you're going to have to be caught up on Vol 1-6. I love this insane ridiculous series. This is a new arc, and you're going to have to be caught up on Vol 1-6.

Oh, how I’ve missed Nailbiter. The return doesn’t have the exact same murdery fun as the original series, but glad to be back.

Really enjoyed this one!! I can’t wait for the next one.

5 Nailbiter was my favourite Image series and when this series was first released I wasn't happy. I consider these style of sequels, cash-ins and irrelevant, plus Nailbiter had a satisfying conclusion. I'm pleased to say my worries were unfounded and Williams had a clear intention. This is an epilogue that has been created as a fallout to the original series. It makes sense and gives that finale from the previous books depth. There's so much going on here and to give anything away is a huge no n 5 Nailbiter was my favourite Image series and when this series was first released I wasn't happy. If they want to do Nailbiter Returns Again in another few years I'm already sold.

Horror comic series with much bloodshed and corpses - it's an interesting development. Following on from the Nailbiter series, this brings back the serial killers of Buckaroo with surprising developments and revelations. The story works well on many levels although the bloodshed is graphic, particularly the colours. The characters are all there and new ones introduced and it's well-written with simple but effective artwork. I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Yesss! Such a great return. The dead butchers are back so to say, well their fakes are back and killing each other. It is part of a game called the butcher brawl. Leaves with alice her mom finch and warren going back home to buckaroo to learn more about the game they supposedly started when they were teens.

The kickoff to this sequel series about a town of screwball, flashy serial killers did not have to ramp up or reintroduce the setup or the gang. Instead, it just opened up and flew like hell. I don't know if I've read a graphic novel faster. That was just rip-roarin' violent mania. Hey, yeah! A lot of folks want to be murderers but we don't know why and it's a game? That's a fun 7th volume. Now for the 8th to have answers! Hey, yeah! A lot of folks want to be murderers but we don't know why and it's a game? That's a fun 7th volume. Now for the 8th to have answers!

I forgot how much fun I had reading Nailbiter. This first trade of the new series was great, looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I know all slasher franchises get sequels but this isn't one I expected to make a return. Not that it's not welcome but... it's not particularly needed either. More of the same. If you liked this comic before, it pretty much picks up where it left off and not much has changed.
Lukas Holmes –
Bit of a stretch to bring it back.
John –
A nice extrapolation of the original series, although it's hard to take these themes serial killers seriously. A nice extrapolation of the original series, although it's hard to take these themes serial killers seriously.
