I think I was looking for something "more". This book could probably do with a update or something. Add a chapter about providing proper nutrition to power all this play, and avoid the rampant "childhood obeisity". Maybe pull the part about how it is okay to plant the kids in front of the TV. Overall, it wasn't horribly outdated, but it could use some help, nonetheless. Still debating whether I'll read the next one in the series, which I've borrowed from the library... This book helped me get a better understanding of the stages of play my toddler is in or is going to be in eventually.
