"Interestingly Different, but I Still Liked It" 🤔😉 I just finished listening to; "When Questions Abound," written and narrated by Lorana Hoopes and discovered an interesting way of joining two books together but giving them their own forums to stand on. "When Questions Abound" is a companion short story to "Lost Memories and New Beginnings," being told from the detectives and firemen eyes. I'm glad I listened to Book 2 first because it made it easier to follow this version. I'm glad I listened to Book 2 first because it made it easier to follow this version. I liked the book but to be honest, I wouldn't want to do another one like this. If I had listened to this one 1st, I would totally be lost I believe. Lorana Hoopes narrated her own book and I enjoyed her as a storyteller. Lorana's flow was smooth and light. You could tell she was very comfortable with the words and the characters she was portraying. I would recommend this and "Lost Memories and New Beginnings" to others, just listen to book 2 before book 2.5... #AudiobookObsessionReviewer🎧ronigirl

Short story companion to Lost Memories and New Beginnings. The story is told from the detectives POV. It's funny how even though it's the same story, it can appear a little different based on whose POV your hearing it from. This is an especially good for book for those who may not enjoy lengthy novels but still want the feeling of a well written, complete story. I enjoyed it. Same book as lost memories except in Detective Jordan's viewpoint. So you do get more of the investigation part of the story line like you did from the first book in the series. Which is what I liked from the first book. Same book as lost memories except in Detective Jordan's viewpoint. **Audiobook Review** This is a companion story to the second book in the Fire Beach series “Lost Memories & New Beginnings”. What a great spin-off of the second book giving us the detective’s point of view. I really enjoyed listening to this. Looking forward to listening to book 3 in the series when it is released.

When Questions Abound (The Men of Fire Beach #2.5) was a great read by Lorana Hoopes. Jordan is a detective who ends up at the scene of an accident. The victim wakes up with no memory and unable to tell Jordan who's after her. This was a great companion story to Lost Memories. I can't wait to read more by Lorana Hoopes. There is nothing better than listening to a book, then getting to hear it from another point of view. This is the companion story to Lost Memories and New Beginnings, and adds a whole new layer to the story. Jordan Graves is one of the first on the scene of an accident. The woman is taken to the hospital, but Jordan is feeling there is more to this than just an accident. It lets us in on how Jordan dealt with Tia's memory loss and how he flushed out the suspects. It's a whole new perspective looking in and I love it! Narrated by Loranna Hoopes, she gives it to us exactly as she wants us to hear it. It's a treat to have an author talented enough to narrate and give the expressions the way she intended. This is a great story and it really adds to the original.

Alternative perspective makes a great story even better This is a simultaneous counterpart to the 2nd Fire Games book, "Lost Memories and New Beginnings". It's a fun concept. I've seen it done with hero & heroine perspectives on some romances, but doing this between police & victim is different, and I really liked how it made the story fuller & more fleshed out (it doesn't hurt that I loved Detective Jordan Graves in "Fire Games", either 😁). *Clean romance level: sweet kisses Alternative perspective makes a great story even better This is a simultaneous counterpart to the 2nd Fire Games book, "Lost Memories and New Beginnings". This is a short story to go with Lost Memories, New Beginnings second book in Lorana Hoopes Men of Fire Beach series. It is Detective Jordan Graves point of view. It was nice seeing a different side to the story. His verses the two main characters Tia and Dr. Brody Cavanaugh's. I really liked the different perspective. I'm also looking forward to the third book in the series. Read, enjoy, blessings. This is a short story to go with Lost Memories, New Beginnings second book in Lorana Hoopes Men of Fire Beach series. When Questions Abound is a companion to Lost Memories and New Beginnings. When Questions Abound tells the same story from the point of view of Detective Jordan Graves while Lost Memories tells the story from the points of view of the victim and her doctor. This companion book adds the police investigation to the first story. It gives a little more perspective and explains the police actions. It is well written and interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

WOW!!!! This is a good book!!!! Although it is almost the same as the companion book featuring Tia and Brody. But Jordan did manage to capture the crimes after Tia. This book did not offer much more information than the one it was supposed to be a companion to. I think it would have been better if the two books were combined.

I love mysteries. This is a very interesting approach with a romance too, divorce, family conflicts. I very much enjoyed all aspects of the story & appreciate the Christian part too. I want to read more from this author.

I enjoyed reading this book. It's intriguing story about Detective Jordan Graves, & a hit & run car crash, that happened outside his new restaurant's opening night. It is a short companion book to Lost Memories & New Beginnings, that I recommend reading first. I really like the series!! I enjoyed reading this book. This was told from the police perspective where the book was told from the victim and the doctor's pov. Very interesting to see both pov's. Just fleshes the story out a little more. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it. This was told from the police perspective where the book was told from the victim and the doctor's pov.
