What a Character! Can't believe this female lead character. She lies, steals, manipulates and then tries to justify it all by saying she's compelled to help. BS. I agree with Luke. He said everything I felt since the first book. Yes, he went about it the wrong way; he owed JJ his loyalty and could have been more compassionate in telling her what he thought. But I guess when the heart's involved things can go off the rails. I'm kinda tired of the passive aggressive relationship between her and her What a Character! But I guess when the heart's involved things can go off the rails. I'm kinda tired of the passive aggressive relationship between her and her mom and her mom's boyfriend, actually with most of her acquaintances. I couldn't get pass JJ's character (pun intended), to really enjoy the premise of the story, the writing style, or any of the other things that make me say "now that was a really good book".
