15 years ago, when he was barely 17, Anonymous was taking in by Scarlet. He has no recollection whatsoever to anything that may have happened before that moment. What we learn is that he works for “the organisation” as a professional killer that gets rid of harmful criminals. Scarlet sends him to the police chief of the town for information about a serial killer but he ends up protecting the daughter. This is a very confusing story. Quite a few strange, illogical things happen; people just don’t act or react in a credible way. It’s a short story so, there isn’t a lot of character development. I feel that this story is a bit rushed. With a bit more body and background, it would have been a better, more enjoyable book. The writing itself could have done with some editing as well. I'm not reading more books in this series. I received a free ARC from the author and this is my honest review.

This is one of the weirdest books I've read, but since it was so short, I read it all. Nothing made any sense to me. This is one of the weirdest books I've read, but since it was so short, I read it all. Nothing made any sense to me.

Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.

Anonymous, the main character in this tale is on a mission. It never becomes quite clear just what this mission is supposed to be, but some very weird and wondrous things happen in the telling of it all. It has all the makings for a suspenseful story. The sheriff sends him to pick up his daughter and to look after her. That's when things really get strange. Many questions do not get answered before the tale abruptly ends, leaving the reader wondering what next might happen in this nightmarish setting. Waiting for the next installment in this one.

This was a short and quick read, only 54 pages and although I enjoyed it, and you might too, it was a little disjointed for me. Interesting premise and certainly has promise for future further development, but it was just a little too disconnected. Timelines weren't consistent, but, besides that, give it a shot, you might like it, and once last important thing: This is a trigger warning...this book is completely ADULT, contains graphic situations and violence which may be distasteful to some. A good plot. This book captures your interest from the very first page and starts with a violent and bloody murder with a mystery man called Anonymous who has been hired to do a job to investigate. He would receive information from Scarlet but never more than needed just location and the objective. Scarlet knows the truth about his existence and how he became the person he is today. Anonymous nearest to a friend who is his dispatcher called Bailey gives him the missions he just does the job. With A good plot. "In the Blood of Justice" was an interesting read. First, I was intrigued by the plot, so I kept wanting to read more and more. Then, the plot twisted up in a knot when one of the characters was acting on his incestuous feelings. At that point, I wanted to read to see how the pieces of the puzzle were fitting together. Finally, another character revealed herself to be a lady named Mary Susan; however, just as quickly, she was referred to by the name of Hayley!!??! I'm totally confused now! This story starts off with a bang and doesn't really stop until the end. And then, that is a cliffhanger, so you're still hanging on for dear life. It is a very weird story and you just have to go with it and not dissect every little thing. There is lots of gore and very little character development but it seems like that might be coming in the next installment. I am willing to give it a try and see what develops. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it. This story starts off with a bang and doesn't really stop until the end. Discombobulated dream? I'm not sure what this was that I just read, but it's a mess, both in the telling and editing. Well, maybe I shouldn't knock the editing, it might have been intentional. Based on the rest of the story, it's really hard to tell what might have been intentional and what is just a lack of editing/writing skills. Not even sure who wrote it. Naddia or John or? Just know I wouldn't take credit for it. Discombobulated dream? I'm not sure what this was that I just read, but it's a mess, both in the telling and editing. In The Blood of Justice: (Anonymous Series Book 1), my first read from author Nadia Siddiqui. The book takes off at a trot, quickly moves to a gallop, and soon after an all-out run. After reading this book I look forward to reading more from this author and more in this series. "I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." Who is who? In this mystery, every new book is a continuation of the previous events. In the beginning, Anonymous doesn't know who he is. A Secret Agency vs. Crazed Killer This book is not a genre that I would have chosen but I have to admit it was riveting. A man called Anonymous who has no memory of his past and an unknown future is chasing down killers. There are many twists in the story, some explained and some not, perhaps leaving it to the reader's imagination. Perhaps Book 2 has the answers... Hard to follow The storyline is a little difficult to follow. Seems to be multiple people causing the mayhem and moving at 'super human' speed. The dialogue is also a little stiff and forced.
