Thomas Gentry was on his way to baseball greatness but one incident might of taken that away. He isn’t himself if he can’t play which is causing some reckless behavior. Grace Ferraro helps run Victor’s landscaping business. One job takes her to the baseball field where she meets Thomas. She also has had some issues in the past but what is it? Can these two troubled souls find a way to awaken who they truly are again? Find themselves within each other? Thomas is considerate, caring, passionate, and he loves hard like all the Gentry's. But he's also carrying a lot of misplaced guilt about the night that changed his life forever. Luckily for him, he has a big family that offers strong support. Gracie's strong, brave, caring, and talented. She to carries so much guilt, hers regarding her past mistakes and it has become a burden, preventing her from living and enjoying life to its full potential. Unlike Thomas, Gracie doesn't have a strong support system. Thomas evokes feelings that Garcie thought she would never have again. They are both stubborn when it comes to facing their pasts and avoid dealing which is why they are so drawn together. They are both internally suffering and lost, but together they feel whole and their struggles feel less. But eventually the past has to be faced in order to move forward, and face it they do. It was awesome being back with the Gentry family. Thomas and his brothers remind me so much of their dad and uncles. I can't wait to see what kind of trouble and stress Isabella causes Deck in her book!

Love this addition. ~Paige💜

I wasn't sure what to expect going into Wreck especially after that ending in Clash but....WOW.... my heart..... all the feels!!! Cora absolutely delivered an emotional, addicting, page-turner that I wanted to savor, yet devour at the same time. They made me cry! The Gentry's will forever be in my heart. All of them but these brothers Derek, Kellan and Thomas are something special. Gracie is right, he's the epitome of the best book boyfriend. If the term "best book boyfriend" was in the dictionary Thomas Gentry's name would be under it. I'm not joking i'm getting teary and warm and fuzzy just thinking about him! He's always been the perfect son and brother. In this we see him unravel a little and it just made him even more loveable. He breaks my heart thinking about what he lost after he was attacked. He's not really dealt with the ordeal and we see him struggle. He meets Gracie and eventually she helps him see he needs some help. Gracie is such a sweetie. She herself had a rough past of her own making and boy was she punishing herself for it. I loved everything about her. She's perfect for Thomas. And watching them together brought massive smiles to my face. I loved how they both just got the connection from the start. They didn't fight it but embraced it in such a sweet way. I also loved how they saw in each other what they needed to see in themselves to heal. They kind of fix each other and themselves at the same time. If you're thinking hmmm sweet isn't for me, think again! Although they are all that, they're also so much more!! The heat they made almost blew my phone up! Phewwwww Thomas is a dirty dirty boy!! All that goodness hides a beast!! I felt a little wrong lusting after him but damn Thomas is all grown up! Loved the story as always Cora brought it home. Loved them, they were a match made hot heaven, and i just freaking love The Gentry's!! One of the best book families you will ever meet! I've been there nearly from the start, i think i came in on the second book and i have loved them from then. I think i always will because they're mine! Every book cements them in my soul. I feel them deep. Long may this family go on and on! LOVE!! Can't recommend this whole series enough but young Thomas here is one of my faves. Bring on Izzy!! #GentrysForever

I really like and appreciate when authors have the ability to write a series of interconnected standalone stories, but I don't have to read every one of them to know what's going on. Obviously I'll ideally read them all, but sometimes I don't notice I'm starting in the middle of a collection and it can go either really well (as is the case with Wreck) or I can feel like I'm floundering and missing so many key components. When I picked up Wreck, I had no idea this was the latest in a group of books about the Gentry family, but even without that knowledge, I didn't miss out. This book was a solid story that stood on its own without requiring additional info from the others. Thomas and Gracie were a fun read. They were connected in that love-at-first-sight/damaged goods kinda way, and I really enjoyed watching their stories unravel and intertwine. They grew together and they behaved like actual adult humans, which was, honestly, refreshing. I also really enjoy Brent's writing style, and had no problem getting sucked into the story right away. Uncle Viktor was also a solid addition and probably my favorite character. I kept picturing Whitey from One Tree Hill in my head when I read Viktor's scenes and so if I'm wrong, Cora don't correct me. I'm happy with what my brain has decided. Also Thomas is 10/10 a beta in the streets and an alpha in the sheets and we all know those are my favorite heroes. A+ x1000 because he was just *swoon* from start to finish. Even when he was being an idiot. I do think a few things wrapped up to easily and neatly, but that can be expected sometimes with an HEA. It was a quick read, it was entertaining, and I liked the characters. All in all, it was enjoyable and I definitely will read more from Cora Brent in the future. (Maybe I'll go back and read everything I missed, oops). Many thanks to the author for the review copy!

Will Gracie ever be able to look at herself in the mirror without seeing reminders of her past mistakes? I fell for the Gentry family in the book Draw, and 16 books later I’m still smitten. Both Thomas and Gracie had to work hard to overcome the chains of their past and navigate their place in the world. Cora created an easy read that drew me in, made me connect with the main characters and feel the love they had for one another. As always, we get to see the support the family shows to one another. I can’t wait to hear whose story we get next. Thank you Cora for providing me with ARC of this book.

I received this book as an arc (advance readers copy) in exchange for my honest review. Let me start with Cora did it again. Not that there was any doubt. This book was an emotionally driven and 100% a home hitter. She has a talent for plucking honest life situations that aren’t really thought about and casting light on all the damage they cause. She shared what Thomas and Gracie suffered and the struggle to overcome the aftermath of deep regrets and bleeding wounds. It’s a road of self discovery and forgiveness. It brings 2 broken people together in such a beautiful way. It pulled deeply at my heart. I felt deep sadness, happiness, and relief all in the moments I should have felt them it was so well written. Wreck sucked me in and I felt like a part of the story. Walking deep in their world with each word written. I read this book completely in one day as I couldn’t wait to see what the next paragraph would bring. Every chapter had my thirsting for more. When I reached the end I was happy with it’s outcome and sad that it was over. I eagerly await her next book.

NOTE: ARC received. I’ve always loved second chance stories and this one in particular is so well deserved — for both main characters. Here I am, yet again in love with another Gentry. I honest to god don't think there's a Gentry who couldn't steal my heart. She's so freaking strong. So kind-hearted. I found myself not only equally obsessed with her but cheering her on through life's ups and downs like she was my best friend. Becoming an adrenaline junkie provides the only excitement he can muster up in his now stagnant existence... until he meets a woman who helps him feel again. Gracie Ferraro possesses her own broken spirit. With her past mistakes still lingering, completely fresh and raw, she has been punishing herself instead of moving on. And while meeting a man like Thomas makes Gracie want things she could never deserve, he may be the only man who can help her see just how far she's come from being that once naive and easily manipulated teenager. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wreck was an emotional and heart mending romance between two characters whose lives seem to be wrecked beyond all repair. Thomas has lost his chance at playing pro-baseball, and Gracie threw her talent for the violin and her family away in one rash decision. But, when they meet each other, they will soon realize that finding true happiness may be more attainable than they ever realized. Thomas' heroic sacrifice left his body battered and broken, and although he would never take back protecting the people he loves, he can't help but think he could have done more. Living with regret for the state of his career and what he has lost, he spends his days as a shell of his former self, and puts himself in danger to feel even the smallest bit of excitement. Gracie has lost the love of most of her family, except for her uncle who has always been there for her. But now, he needs her to help take care of him and his lawn care business while he is unable to do so, and Gracie would do anything for the man who has never hesitated in his love for her. With her inability to overcome the mistakes she once made, when Gracie meets Thomas, she finally feels the impact of what the smallest sliver of happiness can do.  I loved the plot of this book, and while I felt there was a lot to Gracie's story we were missing, I adored the journey they worked through, together. As always, the amazing Gentry family does what they do best and embraces a person who can truly appreciate their devotion and acceptance, which is sure to warm even the coldest of hearts. Thomas and Gracie find a shared emptiness in each other which helps them both to heal in a way that their loved ones could never understand. This was a great read, which produced yet another fabulous Gentry couple!  I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review. I have been eagerly awaiting Thomas's book, especially with how devastatingly heartbroken he was for losing his dream while protecting his brothers girl. He's been putting on a front, pretending he's fine that his dreams of being a professional baseball player is no longer a viable option, but he's just so lost inside. He does everything he can to make himself feel again (not in the way you're thinking, but still crazy) and even he meets the brown haired beauty that turns his world upside down, he suddenly has purpose in his life once again. Gracie has had her heart and spirit beaten and bruised by both a lover and her own family, so to say she's cautious is a definite understatement. She is immediately captivated by how charming and *sweet* Thomas is, but is baffled about what he could possibly see in her.. she also fears that he will run in the opposite direction if he were to know the entirety of her past. But she just can't help but fall in love with him, and even though these two fall fast, it's just so real. Gracie was so awkward, yet confident, kind but ridiculously sexy -- she was so many contradictions rolled into one tiny package, but it's her heart that made me love her. And her relationship with her uncle was just so beautiful!!! I always love the Gentry boys, but I do believe that Thomas is my favorite!! He's just so kind, so good, and you immediately know that he's not a wild playboy stringing girls along. When he meets Gracie for the first time, he knows there's something truly special about her, and he quickly falls in love with every aspect of who she is. I also adored how welcoming his entire family was of her!! These two had such a quick, beautiful and passionate love and I just can't get enough!! I hope we'll one day soon see more of Grace's brothers because I just know their stories would be epic!! **I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

He has been through a terrible attack that hinder his ability as a baseball player. Enter Gracie: her bad, poorly-made choice when she was 17 led to the most terrible time of her life. Her parents reject her and now she drifts in the sea, not knowing what to do with her life while helping her uncle running his landscaping business. Both of them feel guilty over what happens. These 2 broken souls finding a path to each other. The attraction is instant, the connection is deep, and they can understand each other perfectly. Reading what happens to Thomas is heartbreaking, moreover since he still blames himself when he was in fact, a victim. Gracie's decision to close her heart and distance herself from everyone also makes me sad. The girl admits she was wrong, but no one (until Thomas) can soothe her over what happened. Definitely an emotional reading from the beginning until the end! Now that I have read this book, I will definitely read the previous books and the original series! *ARC provided in exchange for an honest review

We last read about Thomas and him being held by 2 men and the damage they inflicted on his pitching hand and his knee and now we get his story and let me tell you this book was absolutely phenomenal and the degree of pain and emotional stability that Thomas And Gracie go through is unlike anything we can only hope they can overcome and become better and happier with their lives and themselves. I shed a few tears with his book and my heart was breaking for them both but together they find away to be happy with their lives but they also must forgive themselves and let go of the pain they've suffered and learned that life is absolutely beautiful and exciting and not to let it pass by because sometimes there are no second chances for some so make the best of what you have and enjoy life. Gracie learned the hardware that bad boys are not always good guys and her family disowned her but meeting Thomas brings some happiness in her life but she doesn't think she deserves to have it but can Thomas overcome his issues with the help of her and his brothers? I feel like I have grown up with these boys as I have been with cora from the beginning of this series and I absolutely feel like I am part of this Gentry family. I can't wait to see the next book .

I absolutely adored Gracie and Viktor’s relationship, it was precious. Gracie was so strong and her care for Thomas was incredible, I loved watching her grow as a woman but also growing in love with Thomas. - THOMAS FREAKING GENTRY. He is perfection, just absolute perfection. I haven’t loved another Gentry man since Cord. (He is my book hubby y’all.) Thomas’ story was so gut wrenching at times but I am a firm believer that there is beauty in pain. His growth was amazing and his love for Gracie just warmed my heart. - Y’all this story was everything I had hoped for, Cora freaking delivered. I felt all the feelings reading a Cora book. It was wonderful and I can’t wait for Izzy’s book. I love that this family keeps growing and that Cora keeps giving us more.

Wreck is the perfect title for Thomas and Gracie’s story. Both had been wrecked by events in their past. I could feel his anger and pain about what had happened to him and how he had reacted to it. This made him crave danger and adrenaline. At first, I thought Gracie was going to be a hard, closed off character that would be hard to get to know. However, I was so wrong. She had such a caring heart and just needed some kindness to let down her guard. She bloomed under Thomas’ attention. She was strong and was able to confront her past as well as be there for Thomas. These two were hot together and I loved their connection. They supported each other and wanted what was best for each other. Thomas and Gracie were a well-matched couple who truly fit together. Wreck is a great addition to the Gentry Family series. It is heartwarming story of family and overcoming tragedy.

My love for all things Gentry grows with every story I read, this is one series that continues to go from strength to strength. Gracie has her own struggles as she deals with mistakes from her past. She built up walls to protect herself and Thomas was the perfect guy to knock them down and show her just how amazing she is.  Thomas and Gracie are both a little bit wrecked on the inside but they helped each other deal with their pasts and focus on the future.  These two are just perfect together. I loved every minute of their  emotional, funny, dirty and swoon worthy romance. A fantastic addition to the series and I'm so excited for the next book. As I've said this is one series that never fails to deliver the WOW factor with each and every story. 💗

This book was phenomenal. I almost always really enjoy Cora Brent’s books, but this installation of the Gentry story was so amazing. Thomas is Chase (named my dog partly after Chase Gentry, I have to admit) and Stephanie’s youngest son, and after going through some real sh*t in Kellan’s book, Thomas is trying to get his life back together. They go on a date and start to get to know each, and the rest is a pretty typical romance with some twists thrown in. I can’t say that I’m always a big of both halves of a couple, but I liked Thomas and Gracie an equal amount. They both had bad stuff in their past, and they had very different ways of dealing with it. I also always love getting to see the original three (four if you count Deck) Gentry’s and catching up with all of the next generation whose stories we’ve read. This was honestly one of the best books in the new generation, and Thomas has almost tied his dad for my favorite Gentry, which is saying a lot (again, my dog is named Chase).

"Wreck" is book 5 in the "Gentry Generations" series, but can be read as a standalone. This is the highly anticipated Thomas book and it did not disappoint. In this story, we follow Thomas and Gracie as they both search for redemption and, ultimately, forgiveness. We are witness on their journeys of self discovery and their blossoming love. Both of these characters are victims of circumstance, though they may be broken, can love mend their hearts? This book was no different. I was emotionally invested in these two from the first page, through all their self destruction and ultimately, their healing. The backdrop of Phoenix, is almost like an additional character and has been prominent throughout the entire Gentry series. I love the vivid imagery that Brent can paint. The writing of these characters and the "Gentry" world, keeps expanding and I am so excited for these stories to continue. If you loved the original "Gentry" do not miss this series!

Title: Wreck Author: Cora Brent Genre: Contemporary Dramatic Romance **RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW** I must admit, finally, a second generation Gentry romance that truly tugged on my heartstrings. Wreck delivers a truly emotional story of two individuals that have for all intents and purposes are wrecked and broken. Their bodies still show the scars of their battles and they may think it is the physical limitations they have to overcome in order to move on but in reality it is the mental and emotional pain that holds them back and draws them together like moths to a flame. Gracie and Thomas's story will move you because we can see ourselves within these characters and pray we were all lucky enough to be part of a family like the Gentry's. I love this story. It takes me back into my beloved Gentry world. I am addicted to this series or anything with the name Gentry on it. I knew going in my heart was going to be knocked around a bit and yep I was completely right. Thomas my naughty Gentry boy has been beat down by life and is living a hidden life filled with risk and anger. In some ways he is living two separate lives. He is minimally holding on to the life he should of had by day and by night he is reckless chasing danger. Eek. So I love this story. It takes me back into my beloved Gentry world. She is trying to find redemption and searching for her purpose. It breaks my heart how she is judging herself because of teenage choices. Truthfully she has been failed by her immediate family. They should have tried to love and save her. I REALLY want them to hurt. Yes, feeling vicious and protective of our heroine. You will too. God bless her AMAZING uncle. Ugh. I will hush and not give more of her storyline away. I LOVED every minute of this read as I traveled down its telling. It wouldn’t be a Cora Brent book without going on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Definitely a five star worthy book. Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO

It is a pull to my heart when I see that Cora Brent has a new Gentry Generations book coming out and I get downright giddy. I love seeing the second generation, but the OG boys will always be at the top. This is in no means saying that the new gen isn't as good, because they are great, but Cord, Creed and Chase hold a special place in my heart. This is Thomas' story and you KNEW it was going to be emotional if you have been keeping up with the series. Thomas I really loved, he was the kind of book boyfriend that I love reading about and find myself swooning over. Thomas was a complete sweetheart that had demons of his own but still treated others with respect, especially Gracie. Cora Brent really showcased the characters emotion in this story and really showed the struggles of both characters in the story. I really loved the writing style of this author and it has made me start to read the other books in this series. This is a definite must read.
