Certainly not the handsome cowboy billionaire she's had her eye on for a few months. She starts a relationship with Tripp Walker, only to push him away when he gets too close. She's not sure how to explain things to him, and she's fine on her own. She is. Until she isn't. Until her ex threatens to take her son from her because she can't provide a stable income, a stable home, or a stable family life. Desperate, Ivory turns to the one person she doesn't want to think badly of her. Tripp's been trying to figure out how to get on the same page as Ivory for a while. When she comes asking him to tie the knot with her—on paper only, of course—he thinks maybe that marriage certificate will be the common ground they need. Plus, the sparks with Ivory are hot, and he wants to find out if they can have a real, lasting relationship. To keep her son, she'll risk her life. And anything else she has to—even Tripp's heart. Could their trivial tie be exactly what they both need to achieve a happily-ever-after?

I enjoy reading about the characters Liz Isaacson creates. The characters are painted with her words on the pages. Each page draws you more into the stories about families working together through life's everyday problems. Each character is looking for answers when the answers are there for them, they just need to open their hearts and minds to them. Their 'hearts' are what's the matter, in their love life, and in submission to doing things God's way. I enjoy reading about the characters Liz Isaacson creates. Tripp’s Trivial Tie is book 2 in the series by Liz Isaacson. Four of the seven Walker sons have moved to Three Rivers . All seven are billionaires from money left by their Father. Although Rhett bought the ranch, Jeremiah runs it and the twins Tripp and Liam have made it the headquarters for their computer businesses. Walker had stayed on the rodeo circuit but now has come home to retire; but is working for another ranch right now. The younger boys haven’t made it to the ranch yet. Rhett broke the pac they had made about not having any women around by marrying Evelyn from the next door ranch. Now Tripp is looking longingly at Ivory Osborn. He dated her but she broke it off with him and he doesn’t understand. He isn’t fiving up though. When he learns that she is completely broke and is being sued by her ex-husband for custody of their son, Oliver, he intervenes. He suggests they marry and he pays off her loans. They can then show that she is able to care for him. Will it work or will her ex-husband be able to prove their marriage is a farce?

This was a good read. Ivory needs help proving she can take care of her son. Her ex is trying to get full custody of their son. Tripp has liked Ivory for a long time and is willing to help. My only complaint is that Ivory didn't want to let herself accept help or be loved. I get that she had a tough time with her last relationship. However, it took too long for her to get over it. Thankfully in the end she was finally able to get past all of it and get her happy ending. This was a good read. Ivory needs help proving she can take care of her son. Trivial Tie This a good book. The characters are interesting and engaging. I love the Walker brothers. The plot is very similar to the first story, marrying before they are sure they are in love.

I love this author's stories. They touch my heart and resonate with me. As a lot of people my heart has been trampled on and these stories get me. Liz Isaason is a great story teller. Why has it taken me so long to find the author Liz Isaacson? This is the second book I have read by her (It’s also the second book in this series), and I am enjoying it supremely! I love how she weaves in other characters and their points of view. It truly is like being in a lovely community, and I can’t wait to see the other stories unfold! I loved this installment in the series. I actually read it last as I started the series with the 3rd book - I most certainly do NOT recommend that. So, I knew all of these characters and their outcomes and futures before ever starting the book, however, that really didn't make it any less impactful. It was full of amazing characters and life lessons. Second and third and fifth and seventh chances - love gives every chance, every day, and it keeps on giving. Tripp’s Trivial Tie Tripp had fallen in love with Ivory. She had a son named Oliver. Her ex-husband was trying to sue Ivory for full custody of Oliver, stating she could not adequately provide for him. She was 3 months behind on the mortgage and they were eating pan cakes for every meal. She knew she had to do something. Tripp loved her and wanted to marry her but she kept putting him off. Things get complicated, you will need to read and see what happens next.

An enjoyable author whose characters are so well developed that you think of them as friends. This is about one of a set of twins in the middle of a family with 7 sons. All of the sons are successful adults who behave silly at times. The twins are computer geeks who work from the ranch after improving the internet situation. Tripp meets a single mother with a history of a damaging marriage and poor family relationship. They marry to save her son and then fall in love.

Another brother falls! You have to love this family! They are full of Faith and hope and good intentions. So far their pact is falling apart and they all seem happier for it. These are good and decent people and the brothers seem to realize they are blessed. Time and again they help others. They keep their focus on God and live their lives with principles.

It was a sweet easy read with livable characters. I loved Oliver I'm this book as he is just a sweet, innocent kid and seeing the characters interact with him was nice. It was a predictable plot line but that didn't make me enjoy it any less. It was sweet and clean with no overly descriptive or graphic scenes and just some references to sex after marriage. Love finds a way. I loved this story of Ivory and Tripp. Truly a dream come true romance. Although they had plenty of problems to resolve, mostly overcoming a prior bad relationship, you could feel the love that they had for each other. So excited to read the next book in this series to see what happens to the next brother.

This is a nice story but I got a little tired of Ivory's back & forth about Tripp's money, not wanting to accept it. Don't totally understand her not loving Tripp either. The theme seems a lot like the first book to be. This is a nice story but I got a little tired of Ivory's back & forth about Tripp's money, not wanting to accept it.
