He wants to prove to his brothers that he's not broken. She just wants him. Will a fake marriage heal him or push her further away? Jeremiah Walker moved to Three Rivers three years ago with one rule: No women. Period. The end. He doesn't need to be left at the altar again, and his heart bears some deep wounds that still affect him. But he's watched three of his brothers He wants to prove to his brothers that he's not broken. She just wants him. Will a fake marriage heal him or push her further away? Jeremiah Walker moved to Three Rivers three years ago with one rule: No women. Period. The end. He doesn't need to be left at the altar again, and his heart bears some deep wounds that still affect him. But he's watched three of his brothers find someone to love, and even he can admit that his love of ranching and cooking can only take him so far. Meanwhile, Whitney Wilde will not leave him alone about shooting out at Seven Sons Ranch. The photographer has talent, sure. She also has perfectly kissable red lips that haunt Jeremiah in his quiet moments. Whitney shoots brides to pay the bills, but what she really wants to do is an obscure type of baby photography she hasn't told anyone about. She has a website under a fake name, and she swears all of her clients to secrecy. She's as attracted to the drop-dead gorgeous cowboy as she is annoyed by his refusal to let her onto his property. Doesn't mean she's going to give up. And when Jeremiah calls with a favor of his own? Whitney isn't sure if she should laugh at him the way he has her so many times or jump at the chance to become his bogus bride. As they spend more time together on and off the ranch, Whitney will have to decide if she can open up to him and tell him where her true love lies. And Jeremiah will have to tell her all about those scars on his heart... Will a fake marriage be the thing to heal his heart and bring them closer together? Or will he be left at the proverbial altar again?

I aborted reading this novel after reading about 17% of the story. I chose this story because I have enjoyed reading Liz Isaacson’s works in the past and the Amazon writeup was intriguing; however, I was greatly disappointed with this work. In the write-up on Amazon, there was no indication as to whether or not this novel is a stand-alone work. In the write-up on Amazon, there was no indication as to whether or not this novel is a stand-alone work. I now highly recommend that if readers elect to read this series, they should read the stories in sequence. I believe that will be the easiest way to keep the characters straight when they read this series. In this instance, the author introduced over thirty characters in the first 17% of the book. In most instances, there was no actual introduction of the character except by name. Even though I created a character list as I read, I found it a near-impossible task to keep the flow of the story straight in my mind because the characters were poorly introduced. I can only assume that character development took place in the earlier books since this is the fourth book in the series. Consequently, the author gets an “F” from me in character development along with a two-star award for this story.

This book is a sure winner for the Romance genre. It is the story of Jeremiah Walker and Whitney Wilde. Jeremiah's brothers believe he is a broken man who never recovered from being stood up at the altar. While that may be true, it hurts to know that his family sees him that way. These 2 people don't understand it, but feel drawn to each other as they learn to handle the emotions that are being dredged up. How they get from point A (New Year's Eve parade) to point B (HEA) is a wonderful story and is interwoven with all 6 of the other Walker brothers, their wives and children. This novel reads as a standalone. Even if you haven't read the previous books in this series, the author provides enough background that you easily follow the story. This book will have you saying "Merry Christmas" with a smile on your face!

Oh Jeremiah! I was rooting for Jeremiah's happy ending so much that I am currently writing the review for this 4th book before any of the others. I am super into this series and have practically moved to Texas at this point because of it. I really love how interwoven the stories of the brothers are throughout each of these books. That does makes it harder to read them as stand alones and you will definitely want to read them in order. But they're so good that it's so worth the read. So start at Oh Jeremiah! I really enjoy the Christian faith component to these books. It's done so that it's obvious without being overly preachy or feels faked/forced. Liz Isaacson does such a good job of building the world and making you fall in love with the characters. Poor Jeremiah has been through so much heartache and has worked through such intense emotions throughout the series that I was so excited when I got to his story. And it didn't disappoint. Of course there's the moment of tension when you hit the climax of the book before the inevitable happily ever after. When I read the first book, I loved the fake marriage trope the book had. When I realized all 7 books had that underlying theme, I was like uuhh won't that get boring? Spoiler alert, it doesn't! Turns out I absolutely adore it. On to book #5 to read about Wyatt and get updates on how the other couples are doing!

Jeremiah’s Bogus Bride: Christmas Brides for Billionaire Brothers: Seven Sons Ranch in Three Rivers Romance Book 4 is by Liz Isaacson. The series is getting somewhat repetitive in that along with Jeremiah’s story, you have the beginning of Wyatt’s story as well as the end of Liam’s story, which is repeated from his book. It would be much better not to have them combine if possible or to not repeat as much. A quick overview is not bad; but a chapter or two is a little much. The rules they follow are those they have created themselves from their own past experiences with women and are not always well thought out. Jeremiah breaks his own pact when he is attracted to Whitney when he goes to the organic market to get his vegetables. This attraction comes to a head when she persists in trying to get him to let her shoot weddings on their land. She shot Tripp and Ivory’s wedding he liked those pictures as well as the one she did of Liam’s horse and the ranch. However, he resists her bringing others on the property. What will he do when he finds out she is Lake Waters, the woman who does baby pictures along with fruits and vegetable

This family just keeps growing. Wyatt has some bad news and his feelings for Marcy are all over the page. Micah moved back to Three Rivers and gets away from the toxic relationship he had in Temple so he can pick up what hopefully will be a new relationship in Three Rivers. Whitney has a surprise show up at the bakery in Three Rivers which causes problems between her and Jeremiah and sets the rumor mill going. The stress of all this helps cause Whittany to have a health scare and Jeremiah has to take her to the hospital. This story has all the romance, humor, hurt, and loss to give you all the feelings a good story needs. You will have the need several times for tissues, just saying.

Enjoyed This was a wonderful romance and interesting stories of Jeremiah's six brothers. Although the main subject of the story is Jeremiah it touches on all of the seven brothers. Jeremiah was left at the altar and has had a hard time handling it until he started seeing a therapist. As he has been getting better he had become friends with Whitney and then she ghosts him. Her on again , off again boyfriend came back to town and as always she went back to him. A few weeks later he is gone again. It is a good read as the two battle their own fears to become a loving couple.

Soulful and Sweet ! I’m pretty sure soulful and sweet were used to describe someone’s eyes in this story (Don’t quote this as fact.). Well, it’s a perfect description of this book! Jeremiah’s Bogus Bride Another great story about the seven brothers trying to find true love. They had a pact when Rhett bought the ranch., but if failed. Rhett married, then Liam, then Tripp, now Jeremiah was lonely and tired of being alone. He decided to see a counselor when Wyatt told him he was just broken. He met Whitney Wylie. She was a photographer and made wedding picture. He kept having thoughts about this beautiful lady. You will enjoy this story, so don’t hesitate.

Very enjoyable romance I’ve enjoyed several books in this series. The author Does a good job portraying the weaknesses and strengths of each character. I like how the family unit is so important as each of the brothers support each other as well. The only think I don’t like about these books is that they do jump from character to character and it can be hard to keep Up. I plan to read another book in this series soon. Happy reading!

Broken. That's what Jeremish's brother had said about him. He was tired of all his brothers thinking the same thing. Okay, so he has been when his intend had left him standing at the alter but he was better now. It was there years ago and he had gotten counseling to help. What had helped him to start feeling again was seeing Whitney Wilde. She was also healing his heart and helping to restore his faith in God. Broken. That's what Jeremish's brother had said about him. 3 1/2 stars. A bit of a misnomer since she wasn't really bogus. They are really in love and happy together. Jeremiah has issues but Whitney appears to help. Another good book! I like this series. These men certainly have big hearts. They learn to love and trust even after having shattered relationships. The family dynamics are incredible and they manage to pull together. Can't wait until Micah and Skylar find the women who are right for them. And I really hope Wyatt finds love and healing.
