I thoroughly enjoyed reading Rapsodia! I loved that Marco, a successful and handsome businessman, is afraid to fly, but flew over the ocean to go to his grandmother's 80th birthday. I was touched that Samantha, still grieving her fiance, would notice Marco's problem and try to help him. The characters are well-developed and very likable, but neither are looking for a relationship. Season of Romance is one of those books that takes your emotions for a ride that ends up with an HEA. I was touched that Samantha, still grieving her fiance, would notice Marco's problem and try to help him. The characters are well-developed and very likable, but neither are looking for a relationship. Season of Romance is one of those books that takes your emotions for a ride that ends up with an HEA. Melinda, a paramedic with Type 1 diabetes, is a neighbor to a boy Ilya with the same condition. When the boy's father dies, Ilya's uncle Andrey comes to care for him and expects to stay about a month to let him grieve in a familiar place before taking him to Houston where Andrey runs the business started by his parents. Melinda and Andrey are easy to like, and I quickly was hoping that their romance would work out. I want to know how Melinda smells like cocoa. What a great scent for a perfume! There is tension created in the story by Andrey's ex girlfriend, his parents, living with diabetes, and trying to raise a heart-broken boy. I've enjoyed all of the books that I've read in this series and plan to read more by this author. The Season of Love took my emotions on a whirlwind ride--angry, hopeful, humored, and joy-filled. Petr and Lacy-Jane start out as enemies, which makes for a very bad work environment considering they're both chefs in the same kitchen. Petr is a meat and carbs kind of guy, and Lacy-Jane is all about healthy eating. The attraction between them sizzles in this clean romance. The reader is treated to a great introduction to Lacy-Jane's sister Melinda. (I won't say anymore about that because I don't want to spoil it for you.) Petr's brother Andry owns the restaurant and is Melinda's fiance. All four of these characters are truly likable. Petr's and Lacy-Jane's faith flows naturally through the book although they definitely don't have it altogether at the beginning of the book. There's a fantastic HEA! I highly recommend this set to readers of clean/wholesome romance and to Christian romance readers.

Loved these three stories!! In the first book, Rapsodia, we get Marco and Samantha. Marco's a very successful man, and Samantha decides from the beginning he's not well-off, so when she finds out differently, she's embarrassed! I love the way Alexa had Sam learn that she wasn't responsible for the death of her fiance, and that Marco was the one that helped her to see it. In the second book, Season of Romance, we meet Andrey and Melinda. This is the 2nd book I've read that deals with Type 1 Diabe Loved these three stories!! In the second book, Season of Romance, we meet Andrey and Melinda. This is the 2nd book I've read that deals with Type 1 Diabetes, and I thought it was handled very well. Melinda didn't want anyone to label her, yet she did a wonderful job of that herself!! Andrey finally gets her to see that not everyone would leave, and that happiness was worth the price you might have to pay. In the third book, Season of Love, we meet Petr and Lacy-Jane. Petr taught Lacy-Jane that she could be who she was meant to be, and that everyone wouldn't be using her as her ex-boyfriend did. Great stories!!! I didn't want them to end!!! So glad there are other books set in Rios Azules!! I received a complimentary copy of this set, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.

Amazing stories of love I love Alexa Verde writing and her love stories of faith bring the couples together in Rio Azules. This book contained 3 stories with characters that may not seem to fit together, but through their stuggles and faith in God there become one. Story two was wonderfully written about the stuggles with type 1 diabetes in Melinda and young Llye and their emotional challenges. God has created each of us and we need to accept his love and realize we all deserve to be loved.

Gave up at 6% Clean. Three or four prayers offered by the time I stopped. Characters were like wooden puppets without life. Gave up.
