Had this cookbook almost my whole married life. It's not a bad cookbook, but nothing exceptional. Lots of casseroles for when I feel like an easy meal at night. Actually, I love casseroles. Not sure if it's because they're easy to make or if they actually taste good. Of course I'm not worried about the brand names for the products that are mentioned. This cookbook is so old that I believe a few of the products mentioned in the ingredient lists are not even being sold anymore. Had this cookbook almost my whole married life. This is another "husband food" book as the recipes are hearty (and fairly heavy). They also use a lot of processed food. What I find this cookbook really useful for, though, is making "freezer food" ahead of time, as the one dish meals freeze really well, and making casseroles and such to take to other people (friends who are moving, have just had a baby, etc).
