Rerun If you watched Southern Charm, or follow Cam on social media, this will all feel like deja vu. It might be a decent gift for someone who has never heard of her and is terrified to become a mom. Cam's honestly is refreshing and helpful. Although very geared at moms I loved this book. A lot of the things she shared really spoke to things I have felt and I am sure will deal with in the future. This would make a great gift for someone who is pregnant with their first/a new mom!

"I have no problem admitting that I was ten times cooler and much more fun before I got pregnant and had a child." I loved Cam since she was a cast member on The Real World & was so happy to see her on The Southern Charm show! I couldn't read this book without hearing Cam's voice in my head. I loved getting her perspective and honesty on topics that aren't typically a part of the normal conversation. Cameron's vulnerability and strength are evident throughout her chapters. Sometimes she repeats her ideas from chapter to chapter which would be fine if the essays would be published separately, however, when reading this over the course of a day or two I would skim over those repetitive themes because they were just stated in the previous chapter or two. I love Cameron & it's great to have a little piece of her in my home!

I absolutely love Cameran Eubanks and was so excited to listen to her new book! I listened to the whole thing in less than 24 hours because I was loving her voice telling her stories. Although I loved hearing her stories, some were harder for me to relate to because I am no where near ready to have a baby. While I do think this is the perfect book for an expecting or new mother, it probably isn’t for everyone. I still enjoyed a glimpse into Cam’s life that maybe wasn’t on all the southern charm episodes I’ve watched. She did a fabulous job of telling her story and discussing the not so glamorous sides of life. So sad she won’t be on southern charm anymore but this book made me really respect her making decisions based on what is best for her and her family, showing that priorities can absolutely change throughout your life and sometimes, you need to spend your time where it matters most.

About a month ago I started watching a show about good looking people in Charleston. SOUTHERN CHARM quickly became an addiction. And while Craig was adorable I felt most connected to Cameran. I immediately recognized her as the pretty girl from the real world San Diego who I had loved. This cameran was more worldly, more poised and ready to have fun. Needless to say, I was excited when I found out she was releasing a book. Listened to this on audio. There is very little new news here. Cameran comes off as very normal - paints herself as an every mom type. It's refreshing to hear her recount some of the same struggles that I had in the early years of motherhood. However, she is clearly privileged so some of her anecdotes can come off as tone deaf. I bought this book simply because I enjoy her social media and loved her on Southern Charm not because I was looking for some magic mother wisdom. Listened to this on audio. This is about 2 stars for me. I have liked Cameran since watching her on the real world when I was in middle school, and I really liked her on southern charm. This book is her usual schtick that you can see on her instagram, as relatable as she tries to be its clear she has just led a pretty privileged life and things have come fairly easy for her. It’s also mainly parenting focused (I am not a parent) with a few other life tidbits sprinkled in, but she really doesn’t share anything interesting This is about 2 stars for me. I appreciate that she encourages women to trust their gut when parenting and is open about her struggles with breastfeeding as I think talking about that needs to be normalized, but aside from that this book was kind of just blah

I loved the chapters on Real World & Southern Charm and wish there was more of those stories. If you are a fan of Cam’s you’ve heard a lot of what’s in this book before. Most of the book deals with the new mom stage of life. I love that she shares her experiences, but I’m not in that stage any longer. I do think it’s a great book for a new mom tho. Love Cam & miss her on the show.

TMI This book was ok. It had every detail of her pregnancy and post pregnancy. A pregnancy tell all for a person who wasn't sure she wanted kids. I was hoping there would have been more info about her friendships with different cast members because she has such a range in age of friends that are such an interesting part her world. But this book just went pregnancy delivery breastfeeding stay at home mom the end. TMI This book was ok. It had every detail of her pregnancy and post pregnancy. I read this because I liked her on Southern Charm, but had I known that she was barely going to talk about the show and focus on parenting stuff, I would’ve skipped it. Definitely not the target audience.

As sad as I am to write this review because I love Cam, but this book is poorly written and boring. I was surprised when the book ended and I was still waiting to discover what I was supposed to thank her for one day? The “everything in between” title is a stretch because this book is 90% mom talk. I’ll save you the time and give you the one takeaway from the book: “it’s ok to be hesitant to be a mom, and yes, it sucks sometimes.” The End

3.5 - 4 stars for me. I miss watching Cameran on Bravo’s show called Southern Charm, but I follow her on IG so she’s still on my radar. This book is mostly about her being a mom and very little about her TV life. I was looking for more TV life but this book gives great advice (and the harsh reality) about being pregnant, labor, and being a mom. On another note: I visited Charleston in the summer of 2019 in the hopes of running into anyone from the show. I didn’t but it’s such a beautiful city. A 3.5 - 4 stars for me. Thanks to the publisher, via Edelweiss, for an advance e-galley for honest review. Cameran was one of the best parts of Southern Charm for the seasons I watched, and her memoir is as sweet and honest as she comes off on the show. She's open about her struggles with motherhood. If you have watched her on reality tv or seen her social media, much of what she shares will be familiar, and the book itself is a bit repetitive at times. Cameran has always been a favorite of mine ever since I started watching Southern Charm with my mom. I instantly liked her and her personality. The show definitely isn’t the same without her. I was so excited to hear that she had a book coming out. I pre-ordered it since I couldn’t wait. Her book focused heavily on her journey into motherhood. I on the other hand am not in that stage of my life so I couldn’t really relate. I loved how real and personal she was about her struggles. Motherhood definitely isn’t one size fits all. I loved hearing about her time before the show. She talked about how different life was when she was on the Real World and what her life looked like afterwards. She didn’t just find Jason right after the Real World. She actually had a hard time adjusting and balancing her love life. She even got engaged to someone else when she was in her 20s but called the engagement off to not sacrifice her life for his. You are never ready for someone until they are right in front of you and you’re on your way to your blind date. Super sad that there was only one chapter on Southern Charm but I loved it anyways! This book was short and easy. A great read for someone who loves Bravo, Cameran, and Motherhood.

I adore Cam, but this book just wasn’t for me. Although I have children, I just wasn’t interested in the chapters about being pregnant and raising kids. I was hoping there would be a bit more about her time on Southern Charm, but I suppose I should’ve figured that wouldn’t be the case since the subtitle of the book highlights parenthood. I appreciated her honesty about the type of mother and wife she is, though, because it was so relatable.

I have loved Cameran since she was cast in The Real World: San Diego decades ago. She is refreshing and honest, probably why she has a loyal following today. It’s been a joy to watch her grow up and become a mother around the same time I did. So for that reason I took more of an interest in her Instagram account. The reason I caught them is because her these posts at the time were memorable, funny, and thought-provoking. I thought the way they were incorporated into the book made her editor seem a bit lazy. That said, Cameran’s tone is delightful, her experiences are interesting, and her thoughts on motherhood are endearing. I would’ve enjoyed hearing more behind-the-scenes from her life. But like I said earlier, the pages seem to reflect what she has shared on social media.

Cameran was my favorite member of Southern Charm. I was very sad she wasn’t on the latest season of the show but when I saw she had a book coming out I knew I had to read it. This book (personally) came out at a good time for me because I just had a baby and like Cameran I plan to be one and done! A lot of what she discusses is how I feel so I can really relate to it. There were a few things that were kind of eye roll but no one is perfect so it just makes her even more real. I think this book w Cameran was my favorite member of Southern Charm. I kind of wish Cam had spilled some more personal details (named a few more names) but overall I felt satisfied with the level of sharing she went into in her memoir. I would recommend even if you’re not a Bravo fan, Cam is “tell it how it is” kinda lady and this was an enjoyable read.

3.5 stars rounded down. I love Cam and really enjoyed her book, but think moms will enjoy it more. It was very motherhood heavy for someone without kids (from pregnancy to breast feeding to sleep training, terrible twos, and more). I also felt like several things she talked about I had heard verbatim from social media or on Southern Charm. I did love the parts about her time on the Real World and her dating life and relationship with her husband Jason since she doesn’t share much of that. I also 3.5 stars rounded down. Full disclosure - I know and love Cameran. I live in Anderson and she was a classmate of my son’s. I have been an avid fan and follower for a long time. I really enjoyed listening to Cam narrate her own book. I miss her so much on Southern Charm but I totally understand why she left. I wish her nothing but the best with Jason and baby P. This was a cute book, with a big focus on motherhood. I am a fan of Cam’s, so I wanted to support her and see what her story was all about. I’ve been a fan since Real World and actually got to see her speak on one of those college shows with Brad she mentions in that chapter! This would be a great gift for a new bride who is ready to start her family or a young mom. Lots of little nuggets of info in here! While I wish there was more reality TV info, I think that was the point. She’s much more than a reality TV “star” and it is so fun to hear what her life is like now.

I really like Cameran on TV and social media, but this book really fell flat for me. She mainly focuses on her love/dislike of motherhood. I would have been interested in other aspects of her life and other relationships. She also contradicted herself many times - she says she’s a germaphobe, then happily letting her child chew on a Walmart shopping cart? Overall, I didn’t get to know her any better than on her show or Instagram.
