An independent woman who run a newspaper find love . Very interesting story and I would recommend this book for everyone.

Secrets & Misunderstandings I enjoyed this novella featuring Ewan & Jessamine, although it’s ripe with heartaches. It underscores the dangers to a marriage when one spouse keeps secrets. Hurts and fears are difficult to overcome, and divorce looms over all - especially when gossip abounds like it does in a small mining town. A good addition to this series!

I set my alarm to be up at 2:30 so I could start reading Exultant Montana Christmas - and oh my goodness, it was worth it!!!! I have read all the Bear Grass Springs books and I needed to see Ewan and Jessamine have the child they desperately needed and wanted. I love the fact that they finally have that child. They receive that child through a way that left me at a loss for words and had me feeling sympathy and compassion for the father (I'm not going to tell you who he is but WOW) who made the d I set my alarm to be up at 2:30 so I could start reading Exultant Montana Christmas - and oh my goodness, it was worth it!!!! They receive that child through a way that left me at a loss for words and had me feeling sympathy and compassion for the father (I'm not going to tell you who he is but WOW) who made the decision to give his child a home where she would be loved by not only her parents, but by the entire MacKinnon clan. When you read any of the Bear Grass Springs books, you meet the MacKinnon family. This family is filled with strong, brave men, and determined, caring women. They are related by blood, tears, marriage, love, and acceptance. They see each other for who they are and welcome them into the family with open arms. This family is so loving that they forgive the greatest harms and embrace the offenders with arms that will never let go. This is the family we all hope to have. Ramona has a way of writing so that the reader can feel the pain, joy, anger, love, and every emotion her characters feel. She brings her characters and their hometown to life. She writes books that allow you to imagine what is done behind closed doors so that she doesn't need to write those scenes. I absolutely, 100% recommend Exultant Montana Christmas and all the other Bear Grass Springs books. There has not been one that I wouldn't give 5 stars nor recommend to everyone who enjoys clean, honest, griping books that leave you craving for the next book in the series (you don't need to read the other books to know what is going, but they are worth the money). Do yourself a favor, read Exultant Montana Christmas and the other Bear Grass Springs books and become part of the MacKinnon family.

Sometimes the strongest people are the most vulnerable, and in this case, the feisty newspaper owner and journalist is at her weakest. Jessamine hasn't always been the most popular woman in town, but over time she has made a difference to the lives of the people she calls neighbours. However, all of that is forgotten when gossip is stirred up by her unusual activities. Ewan has loved Jessamine since the moment he met her as she is his match in every way. The growing distance between them leaves him in a quandary as he cannot figure out what is happening to them. When the truth emerges Ewan is side-swiped, not only because of what is revealed but that Jessamine didn't trust him enough to confide in him. This book is well written and jerks at the heartstrings. It brought tears to my eyes as the ever-growing band of MacKinnons once again close ranks and protect their own. This novella can be read in an evening, however, it is full of content and leaves one feeling edified. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

They both finally realize they are going to have to talk to each other to resolve their problems. Will this couple be able to overcome their problems and continue the happy marriage they have always had? I have read this as an Arc book. I always look forward to each new book Ramona writes. I am giving this a “5” review for its fantastic storyline.

I received an arc and the opinions and views are my own. Secrets should not be kept between husband and wife as it will cause problems. Jessamine finds this out almost too late to save her marriage to Ewan. A heart warming Christmas story. Totally enjoyed this one it was like visiting old friends. Would recommend to all romantics.
