I knew from the moment that I started reading that there was some thing about this book. It sucked me in, took me away from my everyday reality and kept me till I was done. It moves along at the perfect reading speed, not too fast nor too slow, has amazing characters that you cannot help but fall in love with and a story that will grab you. This is a must read book, no doubt about it.

In order to avoid spoilers, I am just going to talk about my reaction to this book. (Disclaimer: I have read the previous books in this series as well as other works by the author. The stakes have never been higher and neither has the feeling of creepiness and dread. Can dark obsession truly vanquish grim determination or will both fall beneath the power of a perverse love that couldn't care less about either? It doesn't matter whether you've read Miss Krantz' other works in this series or not, you will be drawn in like a fly on the wall, listening to the secrets of the parties in this tale. I love the way the author reveals the evolving motivations of the characters as the story unfolds. Interwoven with flashbacks to the events of previous installments, that tactic makes it possible to enjoy this story without having read the previous books, however, I HIGHLY recommend that you do just that. If this indeed turns out to be the FINAL goodbye to Chance and Luna, the series' two main characters, then I will offer a reluctant farewell, as I've grown quite attached to their macabre "dance". I loved this book! I love this author! I encourage all fans of supernatural fiction to add this book (actually the entire series) to their library.

DreamWorld. All Cassandra (daughter, vessel) could see was the realm on the other side. Cairo capital, Egypt. Cassandra “Cassie” had gotten a letter from Ebony (adopted mother) stating Rose Ketz (biological mother) had died. Cassie could go to the US with her if she wanted to the funeral/burial at the Lima Cemetery. Cassandra & Ebony were aboard the jet. Luna is Cassandra biological sister. Purgatory Compound floor. Chance Welfrey (Anna’s baby brother, ex- living Keeper, sorcerer) was yelling at DreamWorld. All Cassandra (daughter, vessel) could see was the realm on the other side. Cairo capital, Egypt. Chance Welfrey (Anna’s baby brother, ex- living Keeper, sorcerer) was yelling at Cody for reasons he really had nothing to do with. Elder Weston stepped in to fuse the conflict. Chance dearly missed Luna. Cody hadn’t destroyed the Rosebone, so Chance & Luna’s connection could still be powerful. Diving through DreamWorld without a specific place was tricky. Chance asked Reese to cut his connection from Luna so he could find her. Luna Ketz (sorceress) had died & Morpheus (God of Dreams; Dream World Keepers) had brought her back to life for a chance to redeem herself. Epiales (God of Nightmares; Dream World Cultists) oversaw then other side. She had committed a double murder (Michelle mother, Amy BFF) before her death. Ruth (neighbor) had called the tragedy in. 1 female had survived & was in Riverview Medical Center. Detective Holden (Homicide) & Detective Morgan (Homicide partner) were assigned the case. DreamWorld had become a reality to Luna. Purgatory. Max & Amy Jiminez were astounded how fast Asher (3, Chance/Luna’s human toddler) was growing. Chance’s reanimation was approved/finalized. Layanna promised Stephen she’d find Luna. Luna had been transferred to Brentwood Psychiatric asylum for PTSD. Amy had been discharged from the Riverview Medical Center Hospital. Why was Michelle (Amy’s mother) murdered? What do Luna Ketz & Amy Jiminez have in common? Did Morpheus come see Asher & Max? An awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very professionally written paranormal book. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters & facts to keep track of. This could also make another great paranormal movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. It wasn’t real exciting so I will only rate it at 4/5 stars. I have not read any of the previous books in the series and to be honest, I feel like at least researching what previously occurred is best as this story is not one that can really be read as a standalone, I remember getting really confused as to who was who and what their relationships were to each other. The best way to summarize it is after waking up in a hospital bed a woman named Luna learns that a murder has taken place, the victim is her mother and she is the prime suspect. oh and her psycho ex Chance has followed her back to the land of the living by possession. Chance...why Chance of all things? what a stupid name, couldn't it have been Larry or something the cover was engaging, it really drew the eye. it promises darkness, it promises fantasy. it had intrigue I enjoyed the bits with gods like Morpheus and Epiales, the worldbuilding there was such as the Keepers and the Dreamworld were a creative concept with a taste of the paranormal. I did like the camaraderie between Reese and Chance that was developing but the detectives were utterly useless as were the scenes with Asher and Max [apparently that's Luna and Chance's kid but you wouldn't have known it unless they told you.] the chapters were very short and could've gone over more scenes and the story would've been better for it. I had little investment in the characters, Layanna, Stephen,  Amy, Max. the detectives, Luna and...[shudders] Chance. Edward Cullen he is not, he is worse. I felt like it was dragging to the end until it got to the next story point. I am beyond grateful for the ARC but I don't really see myself reading it again or checking out the rest of the series, hopefully, fans of the series will enjoy it a lot more.

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading. I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review. This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Great fantasy series Dark and mysterious, thrilling fantasy. What is good and what is evil, do we decide who we are or does fate dictate our path? Luna has disappeared from Chances sight, where did she go and what is Morpheus up to? Deliciously dark and dipping into the underworld, looking forward to the next instalment!

Good read The characters had dimension. They weren't 100% good or 100% evil. The story moved at a good pace to keep it interesting. Good read The characters had dimension. They weren't 100% good or 100% evil. The story moved at a good pace to keep it interesting.
