Harriet Everyone should know who this phenomenal woman is. If you don't know who she is then you can read this book to find out. I chose to read this story because it's Black History month and Harriet Tubman is from hometown. Harriet Everyone should know who this phenomenal woman is. Interesting Well I've read about Harriet Tubman for the last 40years, recently saw the movie Harriet. The facts in this book are misfuddled and contrary to other books about her life. Even the movie Harriet is very different from the facts shared in this book. I would suggest the reader in search of facts about this heroine read other books than this one alone. Way kick information on HarrietTubman I liked the book but I think it should be listed for middle school readers. I read the book one day while waiting as my sons ran some errands.

It was very informative, but I would have liked to know more. The book was a great introduction to her life and was very straightforward with what it was going to be about, but I will probably read another book that explains her life in better detail. She is a very inspiring woman.
