A collection of her Mountain Men of Liberty is an opportunity to take a vacation/staycation to Liberty with an abundance of hot, sweet, caring mountain men! Junior for the Mountain Man A Child of His Heart: Friends to Lovers KC Crowne’s latest romance explores all types of love. Some loves are healthy and productive; others are destructive and dangerous. But Crowne’s clear message is that love triumphs and heals. Wounded warrior, Grant, has returned to Utah from Afghanistan scared in body and in soul, but alive and slowly growing physically stronger. Struggling to hold the dark memories at bay, the strong man is weakened by his fear of giving his heart again, especially when it comes to the young boy, Caleb and his hot, surrogate mom and cousin, Piper. In the past, Piper, Grant’s younger sister Leah’s best friend was always a temptation that he tried to avoid. But, now, putting on the brakes with Piper and her young charge is more and more difficult. Distance becomes more difficult to maintain when Piper and Caleb are faced with unexpected challenges after the mysterious death of Caleb’s dad and the arrival of a bevy of relatives all with one goal—to take Caleb away from Piper. This romance explores more than hot second chance love; it also explores the tender love of parent and child, even when the child is of the heart and not the body. Knocked Up by the Mountain Man: An Enemies to Lover’s Romance A Love that Protects and Restores KC Crowne’s newest offering, Knocked Up by the Mountain Man: An Enemies to Lover’s Romance, is a treat for the reader. Single parent Josie Parker is a strong, smart woman, but she is also a hunted and tormented woman who is afraid. Her psychotic ex, Wade, is about to be released from prison where he has been serving a sentence for the kidnapping, drugging and abusing a woman. Now, once again, his attention has returned to Josie and he is letting her know it. Wade calls and taunts her, and most recently, she has become aware that he has had her watched, discovering the existence of their10-month-old son, Milo whom Josie has tried to keep hidden from him to protect her child from his malignant biological father. That Wade is a wealthy and powerful man who is more than willing to do whatever it takes to return Josie to his orbit doesn’t help. Even bribing court officials and threatening witnesses is not beyond this man’s power buying wealth. What adds additional stress to Josie’s world is the recently published negative reviews for her yoga gym. Josie assumes the detrimental postings are an attempt by a rival gym’s owner, former-Ranger Cyrus Whitaker, to undermine his competition. Enough is enough—she takes her complaint of unfair business practices to the source—Cyrus himself. What she did not expect was to find one of the most attractive men she has ever met, and Cyrus’ reaction to her is equally strong and obvious. Blind-sided by Josie’s accusations, but not blind to her beauty and strength, he is drawn to her and sympathetic to the situation that she and her son face with her ex. He knows what it is like to be under the control of a powerful man who uses his wealth to torment others without penalty because of the cover that money buys—that was what he and his mother had lived with his own abusive father. So, when they unknowingly run into each other on their independent hikes to a local favorite mountain, sparks, words, kisses and caresses fly! And, Cyrus is not afraid of a fight, especially if it is to defend Josie and her son. KC Crowne is a writer for the individual seeking a reading experience which engages the heart and head with jolts of adrenalin produced by the twists and turns of the plot. Crowne delivers engaging characters experiencing life’s challenges. A tenderly passionate romance, the story is structured with a strong and realistic storyline woven with emotional tension. And, most powerfully expressed are themes of love, family, sacrifice and the ability to the heart to love without bounds. A child of the heart is as precious as a child of the body. Daddy’s Best Friend A Daddy Becomes a Daddy He was the man who had cleaned her fish when she was too squeamish while on her first fishing trip with her dad. He was the one she called when as a foolish 16-year-old, Eleanor Mae Schaeffer—Elle— got drunk at a party after lying to her dad about where was going, was sexually assaulted and too inebriated to drive home. He was in almost every memory of her childhood with her dad. Jeremiah Jenkins was her dad’s best friend—her dad’s hot best friend—and now 45, the man whom she still uses to measure all men. And she loves him, but not as her dad’s best friend. Now, she is back home. She had followed her dreams to New York City to study journalism in college, and now, 5 years later, she is back in Utah, still following her dream by using her inheritance from her dad’s recent and unexpected death to purchase the local newspaper and serve as editor. Life has also not stood still for Jeremiah during the last 5 years. At 45 is still as fit as he was 15 years earlier resulting from his physical exertions as a hands-on contractor. Only now, his hair and beard are sprinkled with gray, which does not age him—it only makes him more distinguished. But Jeremiah is different—very different. He is now mayor of their town Liberty—his father had died while serving as mayor, and Jeremiah stepped in to fill the interim position. And, he is currently running in a race to permanently fill the position. That means that he has stepped away from his family’s construction company to give full attention to the needs of Liberty and to care for his 2-months old-twin girls. Jeremiah has become a single father with no wife in sight, and while he is devoted to his girls, he is struggling to manage this new role. And, with no information about their origin, the whole town is curious about the unexpected arrival of the twins in his life. As the mayoral race heats up between Jeremiah and his opponent, a newer resident and rich land developer, George Holt, who seems to represent those interests who wish to change the small town to another overdeveloped ski resort with all its beauty dug up for the minerals hidden under the dirt, journalist Elle decides to write a human interest story to sharpen the vision of Jeremiah as the local builder and father. So, when Jeremiah storms into her office furious about the flattering and friendly article, Elle is shocked. Grounded in the same Utah community of several of her novels, but completely stand-alone except for location and an occasional character whose role in the town is made very clear, KC Crowne once more invites her reader to enter the world of strong characters who are upright moral individuals trying to make the right choices for themselves, their families and their community. Because evil seems to naturally follow good, conflict often ensues as the good takes a stand against those destructive forces. And, in the familiar theme of good vs evil, this novel is no different. Out of these conflicts the plot and complications evolve, creating a story grounded in the contemporary issues facing hundreds of communities—powerful individuals or groups attempting to assert their influence for self-gain, disregarding the interests of the community and the surrounding environment. Family in Crowne’s storytelling is always central, with love and children always at the heart of the well-crafted characters’ hearts. A Crowne tale pulses with the tension, twists and turns of the plot which are always resolved in a happily ever after conclusion. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review ARCS, but I enjoyed the reading experience so much that I bought a copy for my "read-again" titles.

Great set! I’ve read three of the four books and loved them. He has lost his best friends, but has their baby to raise as his own in Liberty. Leah is busy running the hotel in town and doesn’t have time for much else. However, she has a stalker that seems to be becoming dangerous. Stalkers, strange men trying to run her out of business or buy her hotel. Arson in the day care center, what is really behind it all? Danger, friendships, and budding love all in the same wonderfully written book. Junior for the Mountain Man: Piper and Grant have known each other almost all their lives but have kept their feelings for each other a secret. After Piper’s brother goes missing, strange relatives come to town trying to get custody of Caleb his son. Grant helps her as much as he can and keeps an eye out for their safety. Wonderful characters in this dangerous love story. A must read. Daddy’s Best Friend: Elle and Jeremiah make for an unusual couple in that he was her father’s best friend, and she had known him her entire life. She has always loved him, but now she finds herself in love with him. He is the single father of twins, and she has been helping him care for them. There are lots of complications to their story, especially the fact that their lives are in danger from people that want to “run” the town. Great characters and lots of action in this well written book that I highly recommend. P.S I’ve added Knocked Up by the Mountain Man on KU to my list, and will KU it as soon as I finish one of the ten that are already there.

I have previously read and reviewed the books in this collection, I really enjoyed each story. Baby for the Mountain Man This is a wonderful well-written fast paced story, there is plenty of drama and intrigue going on throughout the book. Knocked up by the Mountain Man This book is part of the Bearded Mountain Daddies series, it can be read as a standalone story, there are also no cliffhangers.... Another wonderful well-written story by KC Crowne, there is so much emotion and drama and pours off the pages. Fast-paced with plenty of intrigue and the chemistry between Cyrus and Josie is sizzling, I loved watching Cyrus interact with little Milo, it was adorable. The storyline kept me at the edge of my seat, really a wonderful story. Daddy's Best Friend This is a wonderful taboo older man/younger woman romance. Jeremiah was Elle's father's best friend and he feels guilty for noticing that she's now a woman and he's attracted to her. Elle's been attracted to Jeremiah since she's first noticing boys. Now older she still knows she wants Jeremiah but there is plenty of drama and intrigue surrounding him and his little twin daughters. Wonderful intriguing romance, well written with amazing likable characters. Loved it.

I've read a lot of KC's books but not these particular ones. These 4 stories have done well on their own and are now offered as a set. Here are my thoughts on each of them: Triplets for the Mountain Man - What a catch this wealthy doctor would be if he wasn't so opposed to a relationship because of past failures! Put him beside a woman who wanted to get her businesses going before she got into a relationship or had a family, and you just know what's going to happen! There was a little nastiness from a villain toward the end that made it pretty interesting, too. Taken by the Mountain Man - What a pitiful family life Maddison and her brother Jack had lived through. And for most of the book, it didn't look like it was going to get much better. It was very nice to have the pieces all put together to solve the mystery and get the happy ending for everyone except the bad guys! Mountain Man's Secret Baby - This was another good story with some of the same characters as the previous books in the series. As in the others, there were few situations that were pretty naive, but they still made for a good storyline! Also as in the other stories, lots of long sex scenes were included. Mountain Man's Accidental Surprise - Wow! There was sure an instant attraction when these two met! Two such likeable characters, too. It's too bad her family wasn't as likeable. It just made the happy ending that much sweeter. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

2.5 stars - Decent except for irresponsible sex The story, though littered with minor plot holes, is decent. The characters are developed well enough. The writing is okay, though also filled with random "typos" . Nothing amazing, but readable. My biggest issue was the complete lack of responsible sex. Despite some cases where the guy already has an accidental baby, none if these men ever ask their partners if unprotected sex is okay. And while some women are in birth control, most aren't. I get that the author for some reason wanted all these women to get pregnant early in their relationships, but make it accidental or something! Not a case of the stupids. Huge turn off for me.

Cute story but.. Why is every woman in story so short? First the men are over 6 feet tall so the women are super short. Not really understanding how a short woman would go for a guy so tall. It's not really proportional. A tall guy wouldn't really go for a midget in real life. Killed the reality for me. Is the author short or something? I'm 5'8 and a guy over 6 feet would tower me. trying too hard pun intended! Some of the storylines are interesting but it's mostly just porn. It's like Ms. Crowne takes the line of least resistance. Everytime she feels lazy about developing the storyline and characters better she puts in some sex. It's a good trick but there is a sense of too much of a good thing. Also the stories about daddy's best friend were not to my taste. Disturbing to imagine men your husband's age eyeing your daughter as a suitable bedmate. Good, but predicatable. Needs editing... Seriously. The books needs to be edited again. Elle’s last name went from Shaeffer to Schaeffer. Babies can’t collaborate their dad’s alibi, it’s corroborate.... I wasn’t really interested in the last story, something about being in love with my dad’s best friend just doesn’t sit well with me. I’m just glad the author didn’t have her calling him daddy. These books, besides the last two, weren’t really about babies as the women didn’t get pregnant until the Good, but predicatable. I tried to enjoy this 4 book series. I liked the interconnected storyline and the small town trope. I will be reading more from this author at this point to give her a fair try. Not 4/5 stars because of some poor editing and a few personal pet peeves of mine. I would label this series as a light read. It had drama and steamy romance. Reading as a box set you will easily pick up the authors repetitive story lines. I ignored the similarities and tried to take each book as a nice story. It wasn’t easy because the plot is weak.

Mountain Man of Liberty box set... Books 1-4. It was a fabulous read. Four books in this set of alpha mountain men, the most adorable kids and the kick ass women they love. Each story in its own right is simply delightful. Full of angst, drama, action and oh so tingle worthy moments. From page one to end of small town values and romance. Kick back and let the story take you there.

Excellent! Each romance is self contained but characters in all the stories live in the small mountain town of Liberty, Utah. They all know each other and their stories are entwined! They are great characters with interesting, enjoyable lives. It was extremely enjoyable to read all of them. I plan to read the next 4 in the series immediately! Reading in the correct order is more fulfilling!

Breath taking romance! This is a collection of stories about five friends. Four of which find love 💘 with an alpha protective mountain man. Each story has it own danger and suspenseful action. My only regret is the fifth friend is not in this collection. But she has her own story which I'm ready to see. Breath taking romance! This is a collection of stories about five friends. Exciting boxset!! I absolutely loved this boxset. All four books had wonderful characters with a great storyline. There was lots of drama and excitement. There was great love and hot sex. A very hard series to put down. I couldn't pick a favorite the stories are all so good but maybe the last one is best. Exciting boxset!! I absolutely loved this boxset. Loved this box set I liked how not all the characters were in the first main book . By the time you read the last book you kinda know everyone back ground and what they've been though. The books were very touching on how the got the kids and who with and the story lines behind them . Well worth a read. PHAT Pretty, hot and tempting. Yep, that is what these characters are. The ladies are lifelong friends. The men have similar backgrounds and are somewhat friends that end up good friends. Oh, yeah, let us not forget the Babies. Want to know what happens? Read them. Well worth it

This is a good box set each book good on its own but as a box set it feels more complete. There is hot men and feisty women. The story line is great and they all tie into one another. I would recommend this series.

Great series! But there needs to be one more! I loved this series, couldn’t put them down, I read all four in two days! But I have to know what happens with Felicity! I can assume and hope she ends up with Teddy, but I need to know!! So good!

A very good read Each story carries a consistent theme of pride and and love. The men of liberty are prime and maintain a sense of humble characters. Darn good stories and a good cast of personality qualities. Good stories and a quality reading.

Awesome box set!! Don't miss it K.C. writes some good books. There is just the right amount of mischief, mayhem and murder among these hot mountain men that find just the right girl at the right time. If you order this set, you won't be disappointed. Intrigue And a whole lot of good looking men. The women in the stories grew up together in Liberty, and so did some of the guys, but when you have developer's who are greedy you ha e to fight back. But love, family and babies make you stronger. Enjoyed Although this is not my normal style content, the storyline was good for all the books. Characters were good. Always enjoy when characters from previous books returned. Good read

Decent stories but to long winded. These are heavily the same story premise with different male main characters. I feel the stories are a little rambling and long winded. Also, the editing could be improved. There are many grammatical errors and sentence structure mistakes.
